The Parque de La Paz was a fantastic choice for us, and we arrived back yesterday.
They had to be the best apartments I have ever stayed at. We were placed in 1 of the 4 duplex apartments in the aparthotel which consisted of 2 bedrooms, and 2 floor levels- amazing views. The rooms were immaculate, apart from the odd cockroach which obviously cannot be avoided seen as though they can fly.
The hotel location was great, even though we were young couples (age 18-22) we do not go out drinking etc, so the location was perfect as it is a good distance away from Veronicas etc. However there are still loads and loads of shops, quiet family bars, and restaurants within a 5 minute walking distance which was perfect for the evenings.
The entertainment I have to say was awful!! The lady that sings etc has the same cd on repeat all night every night, and fails to entertain anyone but herself. She performs Cher & Madonna & (very badly may I add) for young children this is pointless. They do have bingo etc, but we found her so irritating we never visited the pool bar in the evenings. Apart from that, the apartments were amazing and I was devastated to leave behind the brilliant weather and bubbly atmosphere- I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect holiday!

Fights within hotel complex, unsafe place for kids. I would not advice ANYONE to stay here, hotel staff rude, and unhelpful. I found that the entertainment was appauling! Would not visit again. A lot of unhappy people there - poor reps!

I and my partner stayed at the Parque de la Paz apartments in Tenerife. The hotel and grounds were kept well maintained and very clean maid service 5 times a week.
The reception and bar staff were efficient but not very friendly.
Entertainment was a plenty of an evening at the accommodation even though the same songs were played every night!!
The hotels location was about 15-20 mins walk from the busy area of Veronicas, there are numerous bars and restaurants nearby and the beach is a 5 minute walk away.
We would definitely travel to these apartments again as they were ideal for what we wanted for our week away.

We stayed on a self catering basis, but we would not have been able to cook in the apartment due to the lack of facilities, there were no shelves in the oven, we had to hire a kettle or wait for at least 45 minutes for the hot plate to even get warm, there was one saucepan, not even a frying pan, so no bacon butties for us.
The staff were helpful and friendly, the location of the hotel is good if you don't want to be in the middle of all the action, it was a good twenty minute walk to Veronicas area, but the bars under the hotel are good and cater for almost everyone.
We didnt actually see the entertainment in the hotel, but heard it most nights, but what we did hear was the same songs every single night!!
We wouldn't go back to these apartments for a couple of reasons - you have to pay for the sunbeds around the pool and it seems that you have to hire any kitchen equipment that you may need.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable with good size rooms. As we had booked a bed and breakfast holiday we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was an apartment so we had a kitchen too for the important things like keeping the beer cold, we were only expecting bedrooms.
The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.The cleaners are around all the time and the place seems very well maintained.
The entertainment was not really to our taste and I felt the bar area was too bright and not really inviting.
The pool was a bit too cool for me but my 16 and 12 year old enjoyed it. I thought it was a bit naughty to charge for cushions for the sunbeds.
Each morning we had the choice of a huge array of food from the hot or cold breakfast buffet, you could go up as many times as you wanted and a lovely lady worked there who cooked your eggs however you liked them.
If you are self catering you can also buy the breakfast if you want to.
It was a bit noisy early evening but all the bars adjoined to the front of the hotel seem to go quiet around midnight ideal if the children need a reasonable nights sleep.
The hotel is ideally situated, only a few minutes to the shops,bars and beach.
The hotel isn't up there with the five star places that surround it but I would definately go there again.

The hotel was very clean,the cleaners came in 5 times a week plenty of towel and bedding changes.
We were self catering but the bar meals around the pool were excellant and good value and served by very freindly waiters.
The location was good close to shops and beach and there are plenty of taxis around if you want to go further
hotel staff are good all are very freindly except the reception staff who seemed off hand when asking for advice,it could have been because they are not very good english speakers. Not to our taste but the entertainments manager is very nice and tries very hard with the resources he has, There is no daytime entertainment for children which we found disapointing.
As grandparents we would go there again but as a family with young children no as there isn't enough for them to do and they got quite bored

Just returned from Parque de la Paz aparthotel and I have to say it was one of the best places I ever stayed. It is a lovely well kept complex with friendly staff.
I cannot comment on the food or entertainment as I never sampled either, only because we were meeting another couple outside the complex.
I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday here and would like to go back with the kids. We were on the 4th floor overlooking the Andorra Apartments pool. The 4th floor wasn't a problem as the lifts were pretty good.
The cleaners came in every day and we had about three linen and towel changes. The only thing that might bother me with children is the TV in the room it costs

The Parque de la Paz is an excellent apartment building.
The apartments are very well designed with a large bathroom - a very powerful shower and lovely hot water. They have a large balcony and very comfortable and flexible beds. I was glad I took a travel electric kettle (+ adapter) as the electric rings (only two) were a bit slow to heat up. Plenty of cupboard space.
The hotel is very clean everywhere. Cleaners come in everyday - so keen to clean they cleaned round you if you were still in bed. Bed linen was fine and the towels perfectly good.
Hotel staff were great - unfortunately the cleaners spoke very little English as did the receptionists, but the bar staff were great - a lot of fun and very friendly.
Location was brilliant - close to all the action but extremely quiet and tranquil. For the night owls taxi to the night-life (Veronicas) was only
