This was the fifth time we have stayed at Parque De La Paz and reading some previous reviews there must be other apts of the same name.
Rooms cleaned on a daily basis inc fresh towels.
Food in the restaurant was very good and was always warm.I have also stayed in the Vulcano and Bitacora and can honestly say that this complex is just as good.
Anyone who may be put off by previous comments of this hotel do not take any notice as these people would find fault anywhere.
Only thing I can agree on is the entertainment at night in the complex it is awful plenty of better entertainment in surrounding bars.
Have booked again for next year and cannot wait.

Got back from these apartments this morning, and have to say, it was AWFUL. We where in a group of 19 and unders, and to be honest the staff are RUDE and not helpful. Bins overflow outside rooms, lots of bin bags that smell and attract insects. Cockroaches EVERYWHERE in your room, I think we even found 1 in the toilet. We went Self Catering, and couldn't cook, as the hobs took about 45 minutes to heat up, and there isn't a frying pan, not even any bowls so no cerial!
Appartments VERY basic, and the buzzers go off all night long, very annoying.
The entertainment was AWFUL. The so called world famous 'CARA', who was on ITV looking stupid, thinks she's it, however she cannot sing to save her life. The entertainment goes on until 1am, and with us being near the pool it made it hard to sleep at night. She does however, get on well with the children.
During the day there is no music around the pool, or any daytime entertainment, however most said this was a blessing considering there style of enterainment at night!
The location is good, but it's MUCH further than 100 meters to the beach. The local shops are quite good, and it's only a 20 minute walk into the strip.
The staff at the hotel are rude, (Minus Thomas, Bar Managaer who is just ace!!!). They don;t smile, and are really boring and dull, clearly don't want to be there.
We had our room broken into as the locks are really bad, for the balcony. People just have to pull the outside door and your in - ideal if you forget your key!
The sheets are really thin!
Would certainly not visit again...

Hotel was horrible, staff rude, entertainment was bad too! Same CD every night and a women who can't sing, signing until late, not ideal for children. Warning, broken glass around the pool, staff on reception not interested.
I have been traveling to Tenerife for over 15 years, and this is the WORST hotel I have visited, full of cockroaches.
Wouldn't return!

Arrived at hotel at 1am, and had to wait in Reception for 2 hours before given the key to our room! Great start and with 4 kids, this is not ideal.
Second day, found that the breakfast was awful. A Full English buffet with tinned mushrooms & tomatoes. Microwaved sausages, and no bacon or egg! Thats all, and it cost us

Staff rude, hotel not clean.
Location wasnt good, bins over flow, and not cleaned away. We have mice and rats around and in our apartments. We PAYED our rep to be moved.
Hated it there. Would certainly not visit again. A lot of unhappy holidaymakers there.

I cannot believe what people have written about this hotel, it seems if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all. Some people go out looking to pick faults.
We had a fab time at the P.D.L.Paz, and couldn't fault anything. I thought it was great how they located families and couples at one side of the complex and groups of younger parties at the other. We had a fab room with pool/sea view on the 4th floor. Maids couldn't be faulted and were pleasant and efficient.
Reception desk staff got to know us after a couple of days and we didn't have to ask for our keys after a night out, they recognised us and had them waiting!
I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat in the hotel, but the breakfast room was always full of people.
For us the location couldn't have been any better, we're not clubbers but the strip of bars under the P.D.L.Paz were open until 3 or 4 am so they suited us fine. The Hole in the Wall and Bulls head are excellent.
Beach is only a five minute walk and is definitely the best beach in the area.
We liked it so much we want to come back for New Year, but unfortunately its fully booked. Surely that must tell you something!

Very poor, Katie must of had her eyes closed whilst on the visit. And yes it may be fully booked but it doesn't mean anything! All I can say is do now go there BECAUSE:
* Hotel is NOT clean, has bins everywhere overflowing, reception is trashed, toilets full of grafity, staff smoking marona.
* Hotel food is burnt and off, my daughter was ill the next day!
* Staff rude
* Entertainment - if thats what you want to call it!
NEVER GO!

The hotel was very clean and the staff at the reception and pool bar were very friendly. Also the food from the pool bar was quite nice and the prices also were not bad.
The hotel pool was a decent size and there were lots of sunbeds and umbrellas available, but you had to be down early to get them.
The location of the hotel was great it was easy to reach the beach and also the were lots of bars and restaurants around the hotel.
The hotel entertainment was mainly for the kids but did not bother me as we went to Veronicas every night.
I would definitely revisit this hotel and would recommend it to families and also young groups.

Can not fault the hotel on cleanliness, rooms were very clean, as were hotel and pool area.
The rooms were quite nice although furniture a little dated, but it was useful to have self-catering facilities which is unusual when staying on a half board basis.
The food was edible, there was fresh meat cooked every night but it was very repetitive and if you arrived later on in the evening to eat it was often cold. We only stayed for a week and eat out a couple of evenings but if we had stayed for two weeks it would have annoyed us more.
The location of the hotel is right on the outskirts of Las Americas and is away from the main nightlife. The hotel was marketed to us as lively and suitable for young couples but I would definitely recommend this hotel for family
