Get a ground room floor as it will help as there are no lifts to the other floors so it can be a bit of a walk with a pram.
Make sure on the strip you visit the Meze restaurant with the funny symbols in the name. It is one of the best Meze places in Protaras. Also Molti was a great restaurant to stay in.

Protaras gets bigger and louder every year,it's man-made for Brits,you get everything you need from fast food to Pricey restaurants. Plenty for Kids to do but again,its not cheap.We dont go for the 'Strip',but its still very popular. Some good pubs are situated on the main road if you know where too look,plenty of choice for cheaper food and drink. Without doubt,Protaras has some of the Best beaches in Europe.The resort is tacky yes,but it's safe,clean and still good fun.

we stayed in protaras. most definitely very clean resort entertainment good but the value of the euro has got some pubs really struggling for custom.the beaches are clean
with lovely sands of fig tree bay.
would love to gp back to this beautiful place again in the future.

resort very clean, public areas were kept very clean, pool was of a fair size,poolside bar very good staff again very polite and spoke good english. Entertainment was quite naff, pool vollyball twice a week, wateraerobics twice,french boules,again twice but only one set of boules and dont forget the quiz at four oclock. evening start with bingo then karaoke,next night magic act,then over the course of the week,solo singer,cyprus dancers well 3 of them,hotel run competion mr and mrs, the entertainment team work hard,with little resources and very cheerful.
The beach was very pebbley/ rocky and small. sunbeds plenty for all around the pool and on the grass area.just bear in mind the picture of the hotel in the brouche does not show the 3 apartment blocks which are very close

Great resort been here 10 times now and love it loads to do and places to visit.1 min walk to beach and lots of bars. Buses into ayia napa town and waterpark are regular and the bus stops are a 5 min walk from hotel next to mc donalds !!!!and the dancing water show.

During our stay there had been some beach cleaning and the rocks were littered with black bin bags of retrieved rubbish awaiting collection. From the Monday up to Wednesday a plant rock digging machine was forming a path down to the beach which was a little off putting. You would need to go into Protaras to access the nice beaches.

Im going to say i wouldnt visit again as due to the poor exchange rate etc prices have shot up in the past two years. Resort was much quieter than the other two times we have been in Oct.

First time visit to Protarus and loved it, would definately return. Plenty of bars and places to eat. The one's we ate in were Oscars, Red Indian, and of course we had to visit Pizza Hut!!!! We would recommend the Malmia bar which is quite near Sweet Memories apartments, good service, friendly staff. Beaches exceptionally clean, excellent shops, very friendly people, loved the place. Must just add if you like your desserts/cakes/pastries/bread etc you must visit P & A Bakery, situated between Friends bar and Fools and Horses bar on the main street in Protaras, doughnuts to die for!!!!

Protaras is quite a lively resort without being too busy and is therefore suitable to families.
Resort entertainment is quite good even in October. There are many boat excursions and these are reasonably priced.
The sandy beach is very good with the water being quite shallow and would be suitable to non-swimmers. Visibility is excellent which makes this area very good for snorkelling.
