We were there the last week in November and first week in December. We stayed in the Sol Ocas the smaller of the two sister hotels.

We found the majority of staff 1st class, especially the guy on reception. The range of food at breakfast and at dinner was big enough that only the fussiest of eaters would have been unable to find something to eat.

The room was comfy and clean and sheets and towels changed regularly. The pools at both hotels were great. One negative comment I would have to make is that rooms beside the lift shaft can be noisy during the night, so unless you are a sound sleeper and happen to end up in a room beside the lift shaft invest in a pair of earplugs!!

I came back with a favourable impression of both the hotel and the resort, which beforehand I would have not expected.

Stayed in the Ocas half board. Myself wife and 2 boys at 16. Food was ok. Served pizza and burgers which the boys loved.

Location is a short walk to beach.

The hotel pool although lovely is freezing in October plus anyone can use it as nobody checks who you are.

Swipe cards for rooms sometimes failed. Also our view from the room was over the roof of an indoor market. Not nice.

Also we had noisy people next door which was a pain.

Overall hotel ok but nothing special will try another hotel next year.

Rooms were cleaned every day, chambermaid very polite.

Food not so good, only because it was not very hot.

Very near to all the facilities. Hotel staff ok, but not very pleasant, especially in the dining area.

Entertainment started a bit late for us to stay around, so we just went elsewhere. I would give this hotel another visit, as central to all facilities and no hills or steps to climb, suitable for infirm or families with small children.

I went here with my wife and son. This hotel is one of the best I`ve ever stopped in.Close enough to the beach ,but you don`t really need to as there are 5 pools to chose from with one of them the biggest I`ve been in.The maids came in every day to clean ,and the other staff were friendly. The food was alright but wished there was more choice.Pelicanos is just off the main route to Benidorm`s night life which was ideal for us so we didn`t stop at night to see the hotel`s entertainment.Would recommend the hotel to anyone

I have been to this hotel at least 18 times before and would recommend it to other people. The hotel food was excellent and plebty to choose from. It is situated in a good place, not too far from all the night life but not in the centre of it all. Just a 5 min walk away. The hotel staff need to cheeer up a little when serving you and some couldn't understand what I was ordering. The entertainment was good but it has dropped over the years and doesn't start till late if you have young children.

cannot fault this hotel, have stayed here twice before
and are returning sept. rooms small but clean, most having good view. food varied, but best having breakfast no later than 8.15, as it tends to be hard to find a table. have never bothered with hotel entertainment of an evening but kids well catered for during the day. most of staff friendly and helpful.hotel close to beach shopping and entertainment. i think this is the best hotel we have stayed in, in benidorm, i rate it higher than 3*.
pool biggest in benidorm, can get beds any time during the day. no early morning rush for beds cannot prebook with towels.

This is the second year in a row that myself, my wife and son have stayed here. This year my wife's friend and her two children came because we had such a good time last year. The hotel (pelicanos) is amazing, very clean and staff are very friendly, we even seen the managers helping out when it was very busy. There is plenty of entertainment surrouding the area and you don't need to walk that far. Most pubs have air condition which is great for the kids. The rooms are of good size with good view either side. We have recommended this hotel to quite a few people who I know have booked for next year. We will definately be back again.

This was a great hotel! I originally chose because I thought the pool looked like it would be quite good (not really expecting it to live up to its picture!). Well, what can I say. Words fail me...it was spectacular. Great pool, plenty of life guards and plenty of sunbeds.

The food was great. I found no fault with it, though my husband & son both found one night out of the fourteen where there was nothing they would eat.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Their English was very good also.

The entertainment while aimed at families could do with starting a little earlier.

If you have young children and plan a visit here, ask for a room facing the sister hotel (whether it

We arrived at the Ocas Hotel and were allocated a room on the 9th Floor overlooking the small pool.

The rooms were clean and spacious and the sheets were changed frequently and the towels were changed daily.

The selection of food at breakfast was very good with enough choices for the fussiest of eaters. Likwise the menu for dinner was good with a choice of at least two meats.

The swimming pool area although spacious was very busy and if you weren't down by the pool by 9:30am you would struggle to find any sunbeds in the shade. This didn't really bother us with a fantastic beach only 5mins walk away.
