My daughter and I are just back from Icmeler for the third time in two years. We have stayed at Palm Garden Apartments every time. This is a fantastic place to stay.
The rooms are spotless and kept that way by three sisters who clean your room every day. The food is delicious with a great variety of meals on the menu. They will cook anything you want, anyway you want it.
The staff are great, always joking about and having a laugh. There is good entertainment too. they have a Turkish night with a belly dancer and break dancers and then the staff get everbody up to dance. Its great fun!!!!
We are going to book again for next year at Palm Gardens. The only problem is, that its too long to wait!! Thanks to Ali and Sebastian and all of the staff for a fantastic holiday x

Just got back from a week at the Palm Garden Apartments during the half term holiday. This was our first time to Turkey and we were very impressed not only with these apartments but also with Icmeler.
when we were there the apartments were only a third full so had no problems with sunbeds (although the rain most days also helped !). We found the staff to be really friendly and a good laugh although as other people have commented they did make you feel a bit guilty when you went out for an evening out (they all stood and watched you walk out).
The complex is small and friendly (about 30 apartments) and the pool and slides were brilliant for the children. The actual rooms were basic and the children had to sleep on chairs which converted into beds but the room served its purpose and they all have a nice balacony.
Overall would go back (but not last week of October as the weather is mixed) and would recommend to people to go

This was my first time in Turkey. The Palm Garden Apartments came highly recommended from a friend.
The apartments and all surrounding areas were kept immaculate.
The food served was lovely. I especially enjoyed the fish baked in salt, although it was quite expensive at 140 lira for two people. There was a good selection on the menu and very reasonable prices.
The staff..........well, what can I say about the staff?
They were fantastic! Very attentive and helpful.
Ali, the owner would give you a lift in his own car to places of interest. He makes you feel very welcome.
Jay jay is just crazy! He goes about singing and dancing all the time. He always has a smile on his face. There is never a dull moment when he is around.
Mehmet is a lovely guy. He is always making sure that the guests are having a good time. He walks around the pool every day and stops to chat with everyone. Mehmet is very helpful and attentive.
Adam is great. Always there when you want to order another Efes [ the local beer ]. Very polite. A real gentlman.
I dont know the names of all the other staff, but they are all fantastic. They make the holiday.
The entertainment was good. There was a Turkish Night which was great fun although a bit embarrasing when the dancer got you up to dance! There was also a Lottery and bingo night, where I won some Turkish Delight.
Again there was a lot of dancing and games.
These were the only two organised evenings of entertainment but every evening in the bar is entertaining because of the staff.
The location is really good. Two minute walk to the main street and only ten mins to the beach.

Palm Gardens is FANTASTIC!
i went with my friend and her mum and we enjoyed every bit of it!
The hotel cleanliness is superb, with the rooms getting cleaned everyday, and bedsheets and towels replaced twice a week.
Cleanliness of the other parts of the hotel was great aswell, never found a dirty mark while i was there!
Hotel food was amazing aswell, a reasonable price with great taste.
The Chef himself is very kind and funny and i would recommend him over and over again!
Hotel location is fab, hidden from the noise and that from the main street but only round the corner from it which is great.
The Staff are superb. We loved them all and made friends with all of them. Ibo, the DJ and Jay Jay, one of the barmen are a right laugh, and always smiling! Never a dull moment with them. Yosi, Adam, Gadji, Ali and The Chef are great aswell, the best staff ive ever met!
Miss them loads, don't think i'll find quite as good for a long time.

this was our second year staying at palm gardens cleanliness of apart's is of a high standard the two cleaners work really hard hotel location is great just around corner from main area but situated away from any noise entertainment cannot comment went out each night we are thinking of booking next year for palm gardens but the only thing that is stopping us if you don't eat or drink in the complex Ali will not speak to you for the rest of your stay.

stayed at the palm gardens for the first time and I have to say i was very impressed the location was beautiful and everything you needed was near by yet it was a peaceful corner (except for the nearby cockrel) The apartments were very clean as was the pool and the slides were amazing and kept kids(and mum and dads) entertained these were on from 10am to 12pm then 3pm to 5pm . the staff were ok but you were inorged if you didn,t eat or drink there much and then on the second week we had gone on a jeep safari and when we came back all the infatables had gone inculuding my little girls rubber ring the staff said they didnt know anything about it although we found evidence out the back which differs so keep your suff in the room ,we would of done this but as we had been there 12 days already and it wasnt a problem we thought it would be ok.entertainment well we sayed there one night with some friends (their idea ) for the lottery night which was rubbish and so was the food ,it was far nicer to go out and have a walk and see the resort

This was our first time Turkey and we loved it. We really enjoyed our holiday but found the staff at the Palm Gardens was ok with you if you was spending money every night in the bar. We didn't choose to do this as we found so much to do in the resort. Ali (the owner) only managed to say hello and good bye, jay jay was a laugh and kept the kids entertained but found Memhet a bit to much only spoke to you if he fancied your wife or daughter. Adam was a very nice guy and worked very hard. The apartments were very clean but the kids found the sofa chairs very unconfortable. Think we had the duff room, we had chickens right infront of us and an awfull sewage smell in the mornings and late afternoon. As we wasn't in the room much we put up with it but the smell was really bad. The maids worked really hard and are very friendly. The pool is lovely and the kids really enjoyed the slides. What we thought was a nice touch was when we arrived the staff helped with our cases up the stiars, as this was early morning this was a great help to us. We went to the lottery night and had a nice time but was told that not to bother with the belly dancing show. There was a big problem with sunbeds, I was having to set my alarm for 7.30 and go and sit on my sunbed just so that we could get a bed for the day. The problem was there wasn't enough. we mentioned this to the staff but they didnt seem bothered. Don't think I would return to the Palm Gardens as I think there is alot more other complex's to choose from. We will deffineatly go back to Turkey as I can hear the market calling me now haha

When we stayed at Palm Gardens it was so fun!
The apartments were always so clean and the maids were very friendly but watch out for THE BIG spiders there actual scary !
The food was well good one night me and my friend went there for dinner and we had a customized dinner it was lush!
The location was total good so you didnt have to walk far!
The staff were like the best ever we made friends with them all except mike he was a bit too friendly with my mum and i hated that so much !
Entertainment was well funny !
Best holiday ever , going back next year

Well where do i start absolutly one of the best that we have stayed in, and we have been to turkey 5 times!!.
The rooms were spacious plenty of storage space more than enough utensils etc in the kitchen,nice bright and airy rooms exceptionally clean (everyday). Lovely fluffy soft white towels everyday couldnt ask for any more.
The pool area is always clean and tidy, plenty of sunbeds to go round although you did have to get up early for the best spot!!!.
Now for the staff
Mehmet what a wonderful genuine guy would bend over backwards to help you mehmet you truly are a star.
JayJay he works so very hard at keeping you entertained but he is a looker so do keep your eyes on your daughters.But jay jay please keep on smiling.
Adam (bad boy) lovely guy kept the effes comin so cant fault him at all.
Yoshi the quiet one but he is still in training but is picking things up very quickly hes a dab hand at emptying your ashtray!!
Ali and Seb work so very hard there is always one of them on hand if you need any help and will go out of thier way to help you with lifts etc (keep up the good work the personal touch goes a long way)
The entertainment was very good considering that this hotel is still finding its feet Turkish night lottery night and good old bingo (which i won 70 lira).
The food was as good as you will get any where in turkey if not a lot better but a word of warning if you are tempted to try the fish in salt please get a quote as ours cost
