The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

Puerto Rico is an excellent base for young couples and
families alike. There are many bars, restuarants, and clubs to keep you entertained throughout your holiday.
The food is excellent and the canarian people are very
friendly.
The resort is set on a hillside and so there are many steps within it, although taxi's are very cheap should your accomodation be at the top.

the resort itself was quiet and clean with some building work they are building a huge hotel and mini golf there and extending one of the other hotels by the atlantico they have built a shopping centre but nothing has opened in it as yet the beach has plenty of bars and restaurants, also lockers showers and toilets ample sunbeds and parasols a very clean beach they dont allow music or ball games though i think they want to maintain the resort as a place to relax and unwind which we did as puerto rico is the next resort it only takes you 5mins in taxi (3 euros) or you can walk along the cliff walkway which has hand rails.

We have visted Playa a number of times already, in fact, we are going back again in Sept, but staying at the Walhalla this time. The main reason we went in May this year was for Mardi Gras, which passed by the hotel.
Playa feels very safe through the week, but can get really busy on Fri and Sat nights when the Canarians all vist Playa for the weekend. Most of the clubs were packed to bursting, with people still queueing to get in them on Fri and Sat nights.
One of the lads who we met on holiday, was mugged by 3 Canarian lads on the Sat night as he walked back to his hotel, which spoilt an otherwise great holiday. Even though we are a little concerned about what happened, we are going back again in a few months

The cleanliness of the resort was quite good for the amount of people in the resort . Some of the pathways could do with maintanance being carried out , but nothing major.
Entertainment was good with the Piano bar being a favourite with ourselves and all age groups .Funny boys is a must , A really good show and one of the better nights out .Never had a bad meal eating out ,All food was well cooked, presented and delicious. Try the chinese buffet , San miguels and Sabidan for good food.
The 2 beaches, Amadores and the local beach was very clean and not over crowded , a nice place to relax and enjoy some sun.
First time to Puerto Rica , definetely go back
The only downside was the Lucky Lucky men trying to sell sunglasses , watches etc which was a bit of a nuisance especially while you were eating or waitng to be served

i never went down to the beach this year when i went because it was to hot for my baby but i did go the year before and the beach is gorgeos im most definately coming back next year it was the best holiday ever. thank you revoli for a wonderful holiday.

Everything was clean, even beach toilets. Lots of stuff going on day and night. Waterpark brill. Mogan beautiful.

puerto rico is on two levels europa centre is the quiet place at the top of the hill, bottom centre is the lively one with all the bars and restaurants, a bit hilly but the taxi fares are reasonable, all in all a very clean and tidy resort and very hot.the beaches are spotleess although they tend to be taken over by the locals on a weekend. the new beach at amadorus is magnificent and well worth a visit.

porto rico has everything!
great beach,great bars(la fiesta rules)and a wide choice of restaurants.everyone helpful and polite.good travel links toother towns.reccomend the ferry to port de mogan.

The resort is ok, I would recommend the Amaradoras beach!! Its lovely!
At nighttime there is not much to do for kids but ours were brilliant sat in covent garden with the barmen and his card tricks!
Stay clear of workers if you are single or looking for a romance. They arent as nice as they make out! Young ladies be warned!

Puerto Rico is a nice resort with lots to do for everyone.
Nice beaches with activities reasonable shops and lots of bars and restaurants to suit all budgets.
There is a nice park and a public pool if you dont have one at your aparttments. The main commercial centre gets a bit tedious every night but is ok for a cheap pint. The San Miguel restaurant is good value but for something special try Oscars by the harbour.
Go to Mogan on Friday for the market either by bus or ferry its worth a visit, . and a walk on the coastal path to Amadores is lovely.
Lots of time share touts promoting Amfi del Mar but apparently it is worth a visit.
