The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

We only visited the resort twice and that was in the evenings. It looked very clean and the crazy golf courses are superbly well kept. Didn't visit the beach at all although it looked quite busy from our balcony. Definitely visit Puerto Rico again.

Resort is split in 2 centres which is separated by a steep (very) hill. Amadores beach is better than the main beach.

All in all the Town has no Soul, its a purpose built Concrete Oasis built to Accomodate Chavs, If you desire, The Sun, The most Baisic Room, Roast Beef and Yorkshires, to get a Tatoo, Fish and Chips and to get Blind Drunk and watch football in bars all day .....this must be paradise for you.

There is a large spar in the Altamar across the road and a Netto in the Blue Star so you don't have to walk right up to Europa centre.
It is about 20 min downhill walk to Amadores beach and about 2euro taxi back up again did walk back up once but never again.
You will have to be prepared for people hounding you all the time to go into bars and restaurants etc. I would not recommend the Picasso near the Europa for pizzas the veg one was horrible . The breakfasts and evening meals at the barbecue were very good especially the steak and ale pie & enterainment on a night was good as well.
We had a great week and the weather was sunny 3 days and sunny and cloudy 4 days so not to bad got a little bit of a tan.
The shopping centre in Puerto Rico was ok a lot more bars,restaurants and shops then the Europa and cigs are only 16.50 euros here but were 19.50 euros in the Europa centre there was a few bars and that still closed as its only just start of the main season.

The resort of Puerto Rico was excellent.
It was clean and well maintained and there was something for everyone to take part in.
We liked the way that you were made to feel so welcome in all of the restaurants and bars that we went into and an extra fuss was made of children which really put us at ease.
We only visited the beach once but it exceeded our expectations and was of a good standard.
The only thing that we got fed up with were the touts trying to get you to go into their restaurants every step of the way, but we were sympathetic and tried as many as we could!
We will definately be visiting the resort again, it was the best we've been to.

Puerto Rico centre was clean, although there were lingering smells at times! Although we did not go on the beach it was very busy. We tended to stay at the hotel for evening entertainment so can't really comment on the facilities in the resort itself. There were plenty of taxis available, and bus rides to other resorts are cheap, although a little scary on the coast roads!
The water park in the resort was shut during our stay so we had to travel to Maspalomas. In fact we had to travel to reach any of the attractions but this was an ideal opportunity to discover more of the island.

The resort was clean there was always people cleaning about cutting trees and picking up litter.
The resort isnt really for families. I found one bar the Tropicana which did a kids disco 7-9 every night which was great.

The resort is clean and generally friendly. The streets get hosed down on a night and swept (in most places anyway).
There is plenty of VERY MIXED to be found around the resort, including amusement arcades, shops, fetish bars, night clubs, gay bars, drag shows, etc.
I didn't visit the beach on this occasion, but hear they're excellent - preferred lounging by the hotel pool.

Beach not far away. nice clean water and lots of entertainment! There was lovely white sand aswell.

Had a little park by the bus stances which was dirty and dingy that apart resort was clean and well kept. Amadores beach just outside of Puerto Rico is an excellent beach with all amenities including life guard, foot rinsers, showers and stalls with the usual paraphernalia, well worth a visit, again a couple of euros in a taxi.
