CJ and the boys made our holiday the best Ive been on for many a year.

They made us feel very relaxed and could do enough to ensure every one was having a good time.

The rooms were basic but clean, although the maid service was a little lacking the bins were not emptied daily, nor were the towels changed, neither of which was a major problem as I packed my own towels and took the rubish bags down myself.

The complex was clean and safe, there are two pools each with their own baby pool, and lots of sun beds more than enough to go around.

My rep however was next to usless, I complained about the jeep trip being dangerous, visiting building sites has very little enjoyment factor nor does the jeep breaking down twice in blistering 38 degrees with no protection or water. After promising to sort out and give money back that was the last I heard from him, keep putting the phone down etc. not good, but not to let it distract from an amazing holiday as it's not the hotels fault my rep was rubbish.

If you are going to stay at the Peyda Apartments, stay in a privately owned apartment. The apartments are totally different and are all fresh and newly decorated. Ours were fab and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back again. The staff were great and made us very welcome.

We stayed at the Peyda Apartments for the longest two weeks of our lives, Accomodation was apalling and Arrival home found out party infected with E-Coli (food poisoning) Filthy rooms, Filthy Pools, Filthy bed linen & towels, stained beds, Filthy Showers and Toilets, ant infestation, Bare wires Within Reach of Children, Furniture held together with Cellotape, Curtains hanging of rails, Rooms never cleaned properly, Had to pester reception staff for clean bedding, towels and toilet roll, Reception Staff Not interested, and at present waiting for clearence for E-Coli bug, in conclusion this accomodation has completley put us off ever returning to altinkum, Apart from all this everything else was great!! Good Luck to anyone who risks their health staying there. Currently Seeking advice from solicitor and Enviromental health.

I stayed in the peyda aqua apartments in july 2007

The staff was brilliant. CJ did break dancing every night which was exiting to watch. There is one member of staff who looks the spitting image tom cruise.

The pools had far to much chlorine in them.I was watching the person put the chlorine in and you atre suppost to measure it when he just picked up about 10 handfulls and threw it in.

It said there was a quiz night in the roof bar and there was not one single quiz night in my whole stay. The turkish night was good but they have to get more acts and the person who does the fire show keeps on putting the fire out half way through the show.

The cleaners made the beds 2 times in our full stay and went we first saw our room the tea pot have an old mouldy tea bag stuck in the bottom. The bathroom had no door handle or door lock so there was just a big hole in the door.

We got moved room for our 2nd week and it was privately owned and it was very clean.

My friends tht i met are great... Lou is coo coo.
and Chloe is just brilliant

Enjoyed our stay at the Peyda Apartments. Clean and fresh. Not many people around and plenty of room around the pools. The food was excellent in the restaurant and the chaps were great behind the bar.

There was also another bar up stairs which turned out to be good. Location was very good for the beech, just a short walk down to a private beech area where there was a cafe. Would definitely go back again. Thomas

Loved the Peyda Aqua apartments, had a great time and are going back next year. The apartment we were in was a new one that was privatly owned. Food was good, shop bit pricy but had everything. Pools were also good and clean.

This was the worst apartment I have ever stayed in. It was dirty and very badly maintained. And we were on the top floor without a lift.

There was nothing there for children, and the shop was three times as expensive in some cases as other shops in the resort.

The complex is in a very run down area a good mile and a half in my opinion from the main resort, the staff are rude and unhelpful. And are rep from GOLDTRAIL told us she dreaded are apartments as there was a new set of complaints every day, and the management would not listen to her. I felt sorry for her but she did not help us at all. I my husband and four children could not wait to come home, this was nothing to do with the resort as we have stayed in Altinkum before and new what to expect. This is are holiday from hell.

I would urge families with young children not to book for the peyda aqua apartments.

To sum it up, the Peyda is good on a cosmetic level. Staying there, however, is another story. If you just want somewhere to sleep and have easy access to dolphin square, then this is a good hotel. if you plan to eat in your room some nights to save a bit of cash, don't bother with the Peyda!

Location wise - the Peyda is brilliant compared to what can be in Altinkum. It's a 10 minute walk to Dolphin Square past restaurants and bars, or you can get the dolmus at the end of the road for 1 lira. A taxi will cost you 10 lira. The free minibuses for the restaurants on 3rd beach run outside the door every few minutes. We also caught the minibus for the aqua park easily from there.

We arrived at the Peyda about 7.30pm. Check in was quick and efficient, although I did have to remind him we were booked into 2 rooms, not one...this was met by a look of confusion...but he did produce another set of keys, so all was well...

Got to our room and was very surprised at how nice they were. they were clean and spacious with modern furniture and lovely voiles. The kitchen was small, but enough for what we needed. V

entured down to the room in which my gran and dad were staying and found an absolutely lovely apartment, it was the show apartment - obviously they must sell them. Realised all was not as good as we'd thought when my gran told me that they were not allowed to use any of the mod cons in the room. So the TV was out, but so was the washer, the cooker and there was no kettle nor plates and crockery etc.

They were in a lovely apartment but had absolutely nothing to use apart from a bed and a sofa. There was no balcony either. Managed to get them a different room - after a few days of being messed about, each person denying all knowledge that we were being moved.

Asked for compensation..was told that fee air con will be given if we come back in morning, which we did and was then told no because this particular 'manager' was not aware of it, but we can have 30p a day off the normal

I believe the name Peyda Aqua Apartments is very misleading as the name seems to falsely represent the apartments as to being fun, unique and aqua like, but as you guessed it was not in fact.

Though it had two pools they were hardly ever cleaned along with the apartments which were cleaned once in two weeks the windows had huge cobwebs and were broken, the toilet was broken, the doors squeaked, the floor was quite dirty dust was always attracting to our feet, the towels were never changed we ended up using our pool towels, the only good thing was the beds which surprisingly were rather comfortable, oh but let down again with the view a big brick wall in which we were on the top floor quite annoying when wearing stilletoes after a night of dancing especially since the floor and steps in the peyda were very uneven.

The food was not all that bad but i wouldnt recommend staying in the apartment and eating, the chips were fabulous.

The childrens swing area was quite unstable and dangerous for young children. the location was in a very pleasant area it was quite for those days when you just wanted to stay in.

The staff were very pleasant to begin with but soon forget about us and did not cater to our needs, such as the showers not working, instead were a bit wierd and quite attention seeking(need to learn about customer service skills.)

Thumbs up for entetainment this was amazing the folk dancers not at all what I expected they were exceptional, the belly dancer great and the break dancers oh my god they were fantastic.

Overall the Peyda is simply a good place to sleep, otherwise there would be no point in staying at the peyda. and no I would not go back, also our clothes and jewellery also a towel went missing whilst our stay there.

After a very long night travelling, we arrived at Peyda at 7.30am wanting to rest then enjoy what was left of the day. Where do I begin?

The location of the hotel wasn't what we expected. Peyda is amid lots of new buildings that haven't yet been occupied and the surrounding area is very dusty and there was lots of stray dogs.

It was a 15 minute walk into the town/Dolphin Square which was mostly downhill and hard work to walk home at night after a few drinks!! We were shown to our room which was on the top floor in the reception block. Entering the room, we found it extremely hot and uncomfortable and realised that it didn't have air conditioning as we were told.

There was also a lack of pillows, no kettle (told you had to hire this), no toilet roll and it wasn't clean. My partner informed reception that we weren't happy with the room and wanted one with air conditioning. We finally got moved at about 4pm to an apartment that was slightly better than the first and with air conditioning (at a cost). The maid service wasn't very good at all, changing towels only when asked.

The beds were changed twice whilst we were there but there was no cleaning done. The staff could be funny at times, especially Ramazan and Hassan. They messed by the pool alot, that's when they weren't being told off by one of the many Managers (who need to learn to manage)! The entertainment comes at a cost and is terrible.

We couldn't believe that all entertainment is at a charge, even the karaoke night! The one piece of advice I would give is, if you have a teenage daughter, watch the Turkish guys, even the hotel staff. They have a liking for the roof and the Turkish bath late at night.

The hotel is advertised as having a 'Roof Bar' which wasn't opened at all throughout our two weeks there. Also, there is a shop by the pool side but anything you buy isn't to be consumed by the pool side but you can take it to your room, stupid I know!!

For a litre bottle of coke it is 3 lira (just over a
