Turgutreis can be noisy, extremly hot during the day, especially during market day on Sunday when the canopies go up. Good places to eat, good trips out, and the scuba diving trips from Bodrum are also worth a try.

The resort of Turgetries is very clean with a few shops and resturants on sea front.

They hold a market there once a week. The beach is very clean.

I`m not sure about the evening entertainment in Turgetries as we stayed in the hotel grounds at night.

Can't really comment on the resort itself, as I only left the hotel to go to the market, which was in the middle of town which wasn't tourist orientated. The hotel was a resort in itself, so we didn't really have any need to go wandering.

As this was our first visit to Turkey, we did not quite know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised at how warm and friendly the local people were in our recommended resort of Turgotries. Must do’s are to visit to street bazaar (located centrally behind the mosque), have a days boat trip with Pegasus and visit Julie’s Place for a pleasant welcome and good Turkish/English cuisine.

The resort is spotlessly clean with staff gardening and cleaning non stop. There are staff walking around all the time and plenty of staff around the pools. your children would be very safe here.

The resort has its own private beach with towels provided. entertainment is excellent with something to do day and night. turkish nights and beach parties. Just like to say hi to Kenan in the lobby bar and murat in the Italian resturant. (fantastic staff) also the doctor who looked after me with bad toothache.

I would highly recommend this resort to everyone.

The resort of Turgetris itself is small but there are plenty of bars restaurants and shops.

There is a Saturday market not to be missed we only had 10 to 15 min walk from our hotel to the centre of Turgetris.

This was the first time me and family went to Turkey and we all really enjoyed every minute of the 2 week-holiday we have already booked up for next year and are counting down the days until we go back. The beaches were lovely very clean and we were very close to food and drinks.

Turgetries has the biggest market in the peninsula. Plenty of places to eat and drink. A bit more pricier than other resorts but still reasonable.

Marina has great shops where you can buy genuine Gucci Prada Jimmy Choo etc much cheaper than at home.

Locals very friendly.

The resort itself was good, small with just enough to keep you busy. Plenty of shops, bars and places to eat all close by to each other.

The beach was clean and located in front of several good bars who will come down and take your drinks to you.

Will be visiting again.

There is no resort outside the hotel, Turgetries which is a 15/20 minute taxi ride is the closest.
