We stayed here for 2 weeks in May/June 2009, before travelling to Altinkum for another 3 weeks. This was our fourth time at the Maris Beach, and hopefully 2010 will be our fifth. Breakfast was better than average for Turkey, with juice, cereals, yoghurt and ham as well as the usual tea/coffee/bread/jam, etc. There was usually a hot dish as well. The Venus Beach restaurant at the front of the hotel had a good selection for lunch and dinner. Rooms are bigger than average, and clean. There is a fridge/mini-bar in the room, but make sure that you're not charged for things you don't use. Our main reason for using this hotel is its location. Right on the beach and close to the bars/restaurants along the sea front. it's about 40 minutes walk to the marina and bar street. Staff were helpful, and didn't push you to buy drinks while on the beach. We didn't think much of the (rap) music played at night, but that's our opinion, many others enjoyed it.

I stayed at the Maris Beach hotel , just a few weeks ago.
The hotel is extremely clean, good food and friendly staff.
The only thing was that although i knew i would have to pay for the air conditioning, i was shocked to learn that it was

I would have no hessitation in returning to the Maris Beach Hotel.
In-fact, i am trying to book there for this year 2007.
Right on the beach, you could not get any closer.
Just fantastic.
