Me my partner and my child all flew to marmaris on the 16th July. We stayd at the Mehtap hotel and we thorougly enjoyed it! I have no complaints what so ever. The staff were very friendly, they treated us very well. The room was very clean, with fresh towels everyday. We thought that the entertainment was very funny, and made our nights there even more special. The food was of very high standard, with lots to choose from which was good as my husband was vegetarian, but he still had a wide vaiety to choose from. We will definatley be staying again because it was such a beautiful hotel, and the view from our room was gorgeous.

We love the Mehtap and we have stayed with the owner for over 15 years now. The Hotel is in a fantastic location in Marmaris righton the beachfront and central. You have an abundance of shops, bars, restaurants and much much more at your finger tips.
The Hotel is clean and has a regular maid service, to change towels and sheets. The Mehtap offers a very high standard of food at reasonable prices. It caters for all tastes including vegetarians.
This hotel provides good entertainment on every evening and proof of the quality of the entertainment is how many people return night after night.
The staff at the hotel aand restaurant are second to none and provide a high standard of excellent customer service. We have had experience of the lengths the staff will go to to please every customer!
I would without question recommend this Hotel, however for those of you who want gold taps Turkey is not the place for you. The standard of accomodation generally is of a basic but clean standard but the quality of customer service makes up for this and makes every trip worth while.
We look forward to taking many of our friends here later this year.

Hotel food score is for B&B only. the hotel restaurant is spot on with large portions. The hotel is like any other during the day but you will get NO sleep between 22.00 to 1am. This is when the cabaret is on EVERY NIGHT. So unless you crawl into bed after 1am, don,t expect a quiet night in. Rooms quite nice but no towel/linen change for 2 weeks. Unacceptable.
Staff not rude just a bit dim.
This hotel is no more than 2 star. The cabaret is good but we knew how to do the act by heart by the time we left.
Swimming pool tiny due to expansion of the sea front.
I'd say this place is good for lively couples and parties/friends. If the kids love the sea your'e laughing, if they like the pool go elsewhere.
They really should say in the brochure about the nightly cabaret. It could be a nice surprise to some but nasty to others. I was sick of it by the end of the holiday.
Turkey is not cheap any more. You won't be spending less than Euroland. It is also still hard sell and keep an eye on your daughters, especially on the beachfront. Single women are constantly hassled.
Think i will give Turkey a miss for a while!

Check in smooth, breakfast very basic, rooms new floor tiles, good size,clean bathroom ,power shower and hot water.room cleaning maid brill, fridge working tv main news channel. dining room a little/lot jaded. Beach front great location, 10mins stroll to Marina 2 mins to livley bars, shops and restaurants,sea views, beach man will find you a free sunbed no hassle. lift working,Staff great, friendly,gave you your own space Entertainment Drag artist ok for one viewing 10pm till 1 am We didnt use pool as it was soooo small but the sea very very near 15m.The outside restaurant Magic food .Full English ,tuna salade, steak all well worth having at a reasonable price .Yes will return prob this year

we were half board we booked it ourselves and enjoyed every minute of our 2 weeks,hotel staff excellent cannot do enough for you,food was great breakfast ok which was turkish breakfast.location is ideal for doing everything.bella the drag artist is on everynight with 6 different shows and are all really good and funny.ive stayed with the owner of this hotel for 11years in his other hotel also and would never stay anywhere else have tried though and only lasted half hour before moving down 2 the mehtap.

The Mehtap was an excellent hotel in an ideal position on the beach front.
We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were very good.
I agree with the previous posting about the carpeting it was a bit grubby but the rooms were very clean and fresh towels provided daily.
We would certainly go back to the Mehtap.

I am writing this review after just returning from the Mehtap, I would never go back again. I will agree the rooms were freshly painted, but the carpets were filthy, and the maid came every day but didn't do very much, she was all on to hoover the carpet and put in a new set of grey hard towels.
The breakfast was served in a filthy cabinet in the filthy eating area which was never cleaned, only went once wasn't worth getting up for, and the pool and pool area were never cleaned they were very grubby.
The hotel location is good but noisy if you want to hear the drag show until 1am every night downstairs. The staff were nice to you only if you ate and drank in the hotel. The manager told the reception staff for us not to come back to the hotel, as we had not spent any money there.

The hotel itself is very clean. The rooms are to a high standard. The only let down is the carpet on the stairs is a bit grubby with the volume of people.
The breakfast was Turkish breakfast. The staff fall over themselves to help you and the entertainment is class if you like men dressing up as women, but we saw Bella Beserk and it was pure class.
Im going back next September for 2 weeks
