if you have booked to go to this hotel i would advise you to ring yor tour operator.i went with my partner and daughter who was 13month old.when we got there at 8.30pm we was told are names was down but we couldnt stay there and that wasnt just us it was everyone who was turning up. we had to sit on the front and wait for transport to take us somewhere eles.i ask if my baby could have something to eat and they said no wich i thought was nasty as we been travelling since 5am.when transport came they was taking us to the seray forest hotel it looked lovely so we agreed as we was travelling up there we asked the guy how far to beach is it and he said 45min walk.i couldnt believe what was happening. we arrived at the seray forest and we was faced with a steep slope to walk up with 2 suitcases and ababy in her pram.I must admit the hotel was lovely but my only poblem was it was to far out with having a baby and as we had friends and family out there at the same time.we got a taxi which cost 17 lira one way so to the beach front and back cost around 15pound.As we was staying at this hotel some people so the rep which told them the seray had informed the travel agents on the saturday 6th june that there not excepting english people there turkish only now! so just be very careful!!!!!!!!!

I give this hotel 11 out of ten. Not because of the small and basic rooms, the leaky shower, the standing room only balcony, but because the staff are absolutely fabulous. More friendly and accomodating staff I have never come accross. My girlfriend cried when she had to leave them.
Food is of the Turkish variety so you need to be a bit adventurous but despite the appearance was quite tasty. The attached restaraunt is great and the staff are again fantastic. Food is great and really good value, two fabulous breakfasts large beer and large soft drink about

We booked hotel Seray in Marmaris under the impression that it was a 4* all inclusive hotel. In fact the hotel is more like a hostel and probably only suitable for back packers etc.
The food was awful (unless you purchased from their al a carte menu - which is what was encouraged by the staff from day one - which is what we ended up having to do). The food offered as all inclusive was mainly cold (unless you eat when the food was put out). The choice is very limited. One warm meat dish with the same limited salad/vegetable choice (these were served for breakfast, lunch and dinner). For the 2 days we had to stay there (before we paid to be moved) we had to eat out for all meals. Drink selection consists of beer, raki or vodka and wine. The stock behind the bar consisted of these 3 bottles only, on 3 shelves.
The accommodation overall is clean but basic. The room is quite small with a tiny balcony area that you cannot even fit one chair on. The rest area for all inclusive guests is in the main hallway by the reception area. This consisted of 6 chairs, however if you purchse drinks from the al a carte area you can sit in a comfortable area and watch TV too!
The eating area for all inclusive guests is again in the main hall with no privacy.
The bar staff and waiters were very nice and tried hard to make the stay pleasant. The management were not responsive to complaints or suggestions as to how to make the holiday better and instead seemed only interested in encouraging guests to spend extra in the al a carte area for drinks and food.
There was no entertainment provided at all.
This is not what we would consider to be an all inclusive hotel or even anywhere near a 4 star, we feel that it would make a decent hostel/room only hotel.
We would not visit this hotel ever again. Do not confuse hotel Seray with other hotels in Turkey with a similar name (our mistake).
