Ovacik / Hisaronu are lovely resorts. No beach in either resort but Olu Deniz is only a 10 minute dolmus drive away and is also lovely there.

We loved Ovacik, as we found it to be central. With Fethiye a short dolmus ride one way, and Hisaronu and Olu deniz a short dolmus ride in the other direction, Ovacik is a perfect location for visiting all.
The area is extremely beautiful, surrounded by pine clad hills, and gorgeous views all around.

Very "English" resort - no issue with language. Lots of restaurants and shops, though you will get hassled by the vendors. Plenty of excursions available and very cheap - recommend 6 Islands tour if you enjoy swimming - £5 per person for all day cruise including food you just pay for drinks/ice creams and these are reasonably priced. Local beach at Olu Deniz is clean and functional with plenty of places to eat (though avoid the beach cafes on the lagoon as these are relatively expensive). Local transport is cheap if you use the Dolmus - costs about £1 to get to the beach. I wouldn't visit this resort again as I've seen all I want to see but would recommend it to others.

lovely area lots to do.. shop about for exgerssions as some more expensive than others. blue lagoon is a must see,also turtle bay. 12islands cruise was the best day we had all inclusive drinks and food,photographer on board well worth paying for the pictures made our holidays. recommend a restuarant called the olive tree in hisaronu food was beautifull you pay a bit more but worth it.

My partner and i stay in ovacik when telling people no one had hear of it or its a lovely place from our hotel its a short walk to shops pubs and places to eat out there are buses running regular to take you to different place we found it easy to get out and about. There is regular trips out that you can book we had a great time we wouldn't go back to the Leda hotel but would definitely go back to ovaick.

Resort was beautiful you have the choice of keeping the holiday very low key or going into the busier area for partying the choice is yours beach can get a bit busy but still room for a towel on the sand only thing we found was that getting into the water is quite stoney so flipfops need to be worn otherwise a highly recommended resort with views that are breath takingly beautiful....cant wait to go back

Lots of very commerialised cocktails bars and discos, as well as restaurants and tourist shops. Public transport is brilliant - cheap, reliable, friendly and regular!

Ovacik is a small resort that is close to Hisaronu. There are some good restaurants in Ovacik, but for a greater choice walk to Hisaronu which will take you about 15 mins or 5 mins in a Dolmus. There is no beach there, the nearest is about a 20 min bus ride to Olu Deniz which is well worth a visit.
