Ovacik is a nice quiet location with a few nice bars and restaurants. Good dolmus ssrvice to hisaronu and olu deniz.

The Blue Lagoon is possibly the prettiest place you will ever visit Hisaronu an Fetihye are great for bars shopping restaraunts.
Made a lot of friends there give it a try but just remember give a little and get a lot in return back.

The area itself was pleasant and the beaches, although a dolmus ride away, were very nice. I didn't avail myself of the entertainment much, so I can't comment on that.

Hisaranou and Ovicek are very good, and we will go back again, Olu Deniz is very special. Go into the Lagoon and take advantage of the beach and its amenities, all for 2 million lire, app 75p.

I have been to Turkey twice, once in 2001 and once in 2004, the resort has gone downhill and we were ripped off on a number of occassions, the beach is packed, and this ruins the whole expereince, the day trips are not good value for money and you are made to visit shops.
At the airport we were charger £3.20 for a fanta, sounds insane that we bought it, but that just shows you how bad we were feeling after waiting for 4 hours at Dalaman airport.
I personally have no wish ever to visit Turkey again, I have been to other countries and feel Turkey is quite far behind, in there attitude and qulity of service.
Maybe look at other options before going to Turkey. There are noisy bars all around Hiisaranou, but most of them are empty. I think they are aiming for the wrong market as the majority of tourists seem to be familys and older people, with some couples, but no groups of young men and women, which is who the entertainment seems to geared towards.

The resort was nice. Lots to do if we would of been well enough.

Hisaronu very lively town of pubs,restaurants and shops set in cooler hillside setting of Fethiye district, about 4 kilometres from famous Oludeniz Beach,served by good bus service throughout the day.
Beach area very busy on our visits so spent most time relaxing around poolside at hotel on free sunbeds as charges made on beach, hotel has own reserved beach but still very busy.
Beach area supposed to be a nature reserve but very little wildlife seen during daytime. Very good safe bathing in bay.

The resort was nice. It was quite quiet but at night in the town the bars makes it alot more livelier. There are trips to the market in fetiye and the blue lagoon. You can get a bus from the hotel free down to the blue lagoon beach.

We stayed in ovacik which is between fethiye and olu deniz and hisonaru.. Need i say more we had so much to do and see on our doorstep, we didnt have to go far
