Ask for a room with a balcony that has table & chairs. Rooms at the front will incur some traffic noise as overlook a busy road.

Sea front
Very clean and spacious ideal for those who just wamt to get away. not great for kids or those who want some atmosphere. we went at christmas so definatly wanted some fun
single rooms have a large corner balcony with no single supplement.

We had apartment on ground floor next to the small pool. It was very quiet. There is a small garden to sit in as well.

the resort itself was clean enough,but with little to offer in entertainment!there are plenty of shops in the centre and its a nice walk down the seafront to benalmadna,which is where we,l be staying on our next visit the costa del sol

the promenade was faboulous if you like walking and i do ,you can walk for miles and you have the veiw of the beach on one side and shops and restaurants on the other so your not bored.the entertainment was quite as it was october so im sure its lively in summer time.plenty of lovely restaurants were open and very reasonable its a great place for a family holiday very safe at night.the beach was lovely and big with plenty sunlongers and play areas for young children but the sea is supossed to be dangerous with under currents i didnt see anyone swimming in it so was afraid to.i would visit this resort again with my children as it felt safe and the food was great and so was the shopping very relaxing place to go but dont know what its like in peak season.the people were friendly.

this is a basic resort with no night life at all. harbour was nice. beaches were nice. apart from that there is not a lot more to say oh yea and there is 179 steps to go down to the beach. u have been warned

La Carihuela district of Torremolinos.
Situated between the resort of Torremolinos centre and Benalmadena.
Nice flat promenade, plenty of restaurants specialising in fish dishes.
It has a laid back atmosphere and thankfully is still managing to hang on to its Spanish roots, although the Dutch seem to be opening more and more bars each time I visit.
Plenty of hotels to chose in this area and really you have the best of both worlds with Torremolinos centre about 20 mins walk one way and Benalmadena the other.
If you want thumping discos, wild parties and pub crawls this isn’t the place to be and I hope that long may it stay that way.
There are plenty of bars for a quiet drink to watch the world pass by....no hooligans, lager louts or trouble whilst I've stayed in the resort.
Benalmadena Puerto is nearby with plenty of entertainment.
A good selection of shops in the resort, but if you can't find it in La Carihuela, then Torremolinos centre is the place to head.

In October the resort is quiet - the possibility is that in summer it would be very busy.
Lots of British type pubs etc. but if you look behind the touristy stuff you can dig out some splendid tapas bars etc.
Transport links to the whols coast are very good and cheap either by bus or train. Don't be tempted by tour company trips as they can be expensive.

We had a child with us so didn't go into any nightclubs or anything so I can't really comment on that side of the resort entertainment, but there was plenty of shops, bars & restaraunts & the lovely Benalmedina Marina just a walk away. Nice location.

Resort was fine, totally did the job we were expecting. No frills - sand, sunbed, sea, sangria !! Did not try resort entertainment only stayed 3 days in resort.

The resort is nice near the coast but the centre is a dump!!
