Hi every one me and my partner loved this holiday the staff was very pleasent and would do anything for you,the food in the hotel was brilliant i could not believe that ive stayed in five star accomadation all my life and none of them have even come close to how good this place was.Also its situated in a very good place about a five minute walk from the beach front and two minutes to lots of bars and restuarants,The only thing i can actually say is if your going to marmaris this hotel is great and id give it 10/10 any day of the week.

i had stayed in the banana before but never stayed about long enough to get to no the staff. this year i stayed for 3 weeks and i had a great time. the staff were really friendly(tim and antonio/mehmet). the pool was an ok size but my son loved it. the apartments were cleaned everyday and it was local to everywhere. would definatly stay there again (so watch out tim u haven`t seen the last of me hahaha)

hi everyone. me and my partner stayed here for 2 weeks in july and absalutly loved it!! the staff (tim, antonio and burak) are fantastic and will do anything for you, which was much appriciated considering the amount of hours they work. the room was spotlessly clean and the maids came every day, which really suprised me as other places we have stayed they only came once every few days. the towels and bed linen were always clean and changed every few days. and the maids also go that exta mile and decorate the beds with flowers and petals which was lovely. the pool was also spotless and cleaned every day by joseph, the hotel caretaker. we ate in here more than we ate out as the food is brilliant and very cheap. the turkish night is also a good laugh with dancers, belly dancers, shows and a B.B.Q dinner which i think cost us

Checked in a these apartments in the early hours of the morning exhasted after our journey. We were greeted by the reception staff and shown to our room which was on the first floor. All we wanted to do was retire for the evening however staff were too busy telling us about the hotel. The room was clean and basic however the view of our balcony was another hotel. The shower leaked very badly and this was never fixed. Toilet paper was never replensished.
Basic apartment in a good location for the beach as the swimming pool was compact to the extend few of the sun loungers actually got the sun.

I have just returned from a 2 week holiday in the Banana apartments. I went with my daughter and 3 young children on a self catering basis. On arrival we were greeted by a member of staff who was very welcoming. He took our luggage to our room which can only be described as wonderful, it was so big it was like a house! we had a big hallway with wardrobes, 2 enormous bedrooms and a big kitchen/diner, a lovely bathroom and 2 balconies. The place was spotless. The hotel food was excellant, though we did eat in a few days more for saving money than anything else. The hotel is located in the siteler district of Marmaris in a quiet street about 5 minutes walk to the beach. The staff were all very friendly and couldnt do enough for us, always friendly and welcoming. The pool was very clean and the water warm, the children loved it. There was a turkish night at the hotel every week which was also good.
I would recommend this hotel and my family and i will certainly go back again. 10/10. As for Marmaris itself, i love it, whether you want a quiet time or good nightlife everything is there for you.

i have been a visitor to banana aparts for ten years. my stepson joined us this time but was worried because had read bad reviews. he soon changed his mind the staff took him under their wing. took him out to clubs and even went out of their way when he got badly sunburnt. provided us with free aircon to cool him and running back and forth with ice. the place has always been clean, reasonable food for money and serder and his staff very good. they will even go to shop for you. thank you everyone at banana for ten years of great holidays looking forward to many more.

My Husband, My Seven-year-old daughter and i arrived at bannana apart at 7am , we we're not greeted when we reached the entrance so we made our way to the reception . On our way to the reception area as you could imagine we were very curious to see where we would be spending the next ten days , despite our cheerful moods however the first impression we had of this hotel was not good at all . The pool was filthy and when we got to the reception the receptionist seemed rude , she told us to take seats at the edge of the pool with our suitcases while she found us a room , this took a further a hour and once we were given our room number we were made to carry our suitcases up the concrete stairs. Our room was filthy and the facilities in it were even worse. On the second night my daughter began to scream in the shower she showed my husband and i a whole near the toilet as a rat ran back in to it we complained to staff and they said they'd have it sorted which they didn't . we ment a friendly woman named susan who was from france who also said she'd had simmilar problems with roaches in her room .
My husband , daughter and i will not be returning to bannana apart and wouldn't reccomend it to anybody else .

We have just returned from these apartments and will not be going back. Our first night we were asked to share an apartment with another couple for a few hours till one was available, we didn't complain.
Andy as he likes English people to call him often didnt have change and would tell us he would give it to us later, he never did, we didn't complain. He would be too interested in young girls so would often get our order wrong, we didn't complain but when I didn't get a meal at all my husband did complain!
If you buy anything in this apartment pay for it straight away.I was apalled watching people struggle with their luggage especially a blind danish woman.
We have been going to Marmaris for over ten years and love the people the language and the culture and if it hadnt been for kenny and jimmy 2 lovely scottish men our holiday would have been ruined.

when we arraived at banana apts at 7am,we were greeted by the porter.He showed us to our room,which was 3 storreys high and at the back of the hotel,never mind tho at least he carried our suitcases for us.when we arraived in our apt it was much so basic,hey but what do you expect this is Turkey,and all 2/3star apts are more or less the same.
much to my amazement tho on the second day we were asked if we would like to move to the front of the hotel,with a pool view.that was a great move,much bigger and the balcony run all the way round our apt(massive).
The pool was very clean and cleaned out every night.I was very apprehensive about the pool as 1 or 2 peoples reviews wasnt so clever.The bar staff andy and tim as they like to call themselves was exellant and nothing was to much trouble for them.They would give us bar tabs.Me being me check everthing and it was always bang on.Once or twice it was in my favour.
Becarefull tho if you have a english breafast just check you sausages are cooked in the middle,ow and if you ask for boiled eggs they realy are bioled!!other than that tho the rest of the food we ate was great.
The apts on the internet look a lot bigger than this place realy is,but if you dont mind a short bus ride into the centre of marmaris or a 10 minute walk then this place is ideal.the beach is only 3minute walk aswell n theres plenty of things to keep you occoupied.thers 2 shops eitherside of the apts,if you are buying water its cheaper than the shops.
the entertainment is tim and andy,but there great guys,if you are going as a family i think you would have to go to town for that,but if you dont mind staying around the bar then there fun to be around,overall i would defo go back.

We stayed in the top floor of the building, and had a very big balcony, and 2 rooms. Everything was very basic but you can live with it. However, you have to pay GBP 5 a day for aircondition which you cannot live without as the rooms have carpet and are more hot than outside. When we first arrived the porter brought our luggage to our room and left. We had to go back downstairs to ask for toilet paper and how to get the aircondition on. After 4 days we had run out of toilet paper and the cleaners had not put any in our room. We went down to ask for more paper and when then told by one of the guys, with a big smile on his face, that you only get 1 role of toilet paper, then you have to get the rest yourself. Now, i am aware that this is a 2/3 star apartment hotel. i have stayed in apartment hotels before but I have never been asked to pay for toilet paper - i found that absolutely ridiculous! One night when we ate in the restaurant the waiter didn't have the exact change for us so he said he would give us the 3,5 lira (GBP 1,5) the next day. After the toilet paper incident we decided that we were definitely going to get our money back (otherwise we wouldn't have bothered) and the guy said it was only 3 lira he owed us... now this isn't about the money but the fact that he was lying to us.
All in all we didn't have a good experience with this hotel at all and would not recommend it.. or at least if you do decide to go here because you find a really cheap deal, just keep in mind the extra money you have to spend on aircon and toilet paper ;)
