Ive got to say after my father booked this hotel for our honeymoon i was dreading it (based on the ratings that i viewed). What a lovely supprise! As it states it is basic but you only need your room to sleep in. Our room was fully airconed and clean. The staff here are so welcoming and friendly some of them look a bit scary (Mr Muscles - the boss! ! ) but are like pussy cats. They go out of there way to help you. Ali who runs the bar is a charactor whatch him if your single females! He loves the ladies! Still harmless enough. We met some fantastic friends here and will be booking to go back in 2008 with the children. To sum it up Fantastic, Fantastic, Fantastic.

On arrival to hotel we were greeted by owner who kept us waiting for our room,the room was very basic. When you had a shower the water flooded toilet. Furniture was loosely nailed in the walls. Beds spring apperared in matteress.sockets werent that safe.
Manager told me and my daughter if we went to beach we would be raped, murdered or druged. We were constantly asked for money. He didnt want us to eat or go out of hotel. Air con didnt work even though you were charged 5 lira a day.
Word of warning pay as you go for drinks or food several guests were charged big bills for stuff they had not had. No maid service all week no change of towels all week.
You are not allowed drinks or food in room so hide it.
Rep was useless. Company useless.

Star rating of 2? Well that is ridiculous. It should be a 1 if that.
When we arrived, there was no-one at the.. I'd say reception but there wasn't one.. anyways so we waited a moment for a member of staff who didn't understand English to show us to our room. Which was more like a squat. The pillows were like rocks and were dirty. The room was so small and basic.
We did ask the rep. to try change our hotel to which we got a reply "Can't do anything".
So we decided to not let it spoil the rest of our holiday.
However, our veiw was the next hotel and the door to the staff's room which they sat outside every night and called up to us, if we had our balcony door open they and the next hotel could see everything.

My wife and I spent 2 weeks in June 2007 at the Senfoni hotel in the suburbs of Marmaris.
On arrival after booking in (there is no reception area, you book in at the bar.) We were asked what we would like to drink -very nice we thought, until we were asked to pay.
We were eventually taken to our room which we thought very small but OK. In the room I was given a key, thank you I said, that is the safety deposit box key, he said! Shock no1

upon a journey of 9 hours we were presented with an home made welcome meeting,a drink,and a safety deposit box key of course all not for free,we were then shown to our squat for the week room 111,the room was very small with a pooltable view and a balcony like an animals cage,(now i know how a monkey feels)the skirting boards were mankie and the bathroom was mouldy with a shower head stuck to the side of the wall,the toilet was emergency use only(vile)tryed cleaning the pan our selves but got a nasty surprise off the toilet brush,so we used the one in the bar.the towels were crusty and only changed once in a week as well as the bedding,breakfast was served on top of the bar and if you want your bread toasted get your wallet out,prepare to have your bags searched when you come in from shopping,if you want a cheap holiday and dont mind slumming it this is the ideal place,if you like a clean fresh hotel put the extra cash,the only good thing about the hotel is its small and you get to meet some great people,overall we liked turkey,but couldnt wait to get out of the hell hole,beware youve been warned.a special hello to tony and shirley hows the bites,from the toasty couple.

I would highly recommend going to turkey,but not in this hotel basic is putting it mildly the room was very small and dirty.clean towels every 3 days if your lucky beds where changed after a week after lots of begging.Pool was ok but could not enjoy lying by it as staff hassled you all the time to spend money,manager shouted at staff in front of guests as they were not getting us to spend enough we were then made to feel guilty.Do not have a bar tab as they do their best to rip you of.Breakfast consisted of bread feta cheese and berries if you ask for your bread to be toasted you later find out it cost

It is true that the hotel is very basic; we were not impressed when we arrived. But the next day we were enjoying conversations and company from the other guests and also the staff and the owner. Everyone was great, we had a laugh and a dance in the evenings.
We only had breakfast there, but there was plenty enough food and it was always fresh. We were there this year when Mary and Phil went (above) they are a lovely couple. I came away with the owner

We went to Senfoni in May-June in 2007 and when we got there the staff was very helpful and welcoming!
We had dinner that night there because it was raining and it was lovely.
The rooms are basic rooms was cleaned every 2 days,pool area is clean, the staff was lovely. Armet, Adem, Jimmy!
Only things that bothered us while we was there was:
one night we had dinner there and one of the half a chicken wasn't cooked still a little blood in it! and they brought another one out and that was the same! Apart from that it was brill!!

When we fist arrived at the hotel and were shown our room we were disgusted, as the rooms were dirty.
The sheets had big brown stains on them, the beds were full of flees and the bathroom was full of hairs. After seeing this we left that minute.
We also found out later that someone who had stayed there ended up in hospital as a result of the flees I would advise everyone to stay a way from Senfoni Hotel.
