I have had the pleasure of visiting Turkey 7 times and have stayed at Club Likya 4 of those times. I cannot speak highly enough of the apartments and Marmaris itself.
Club Likya is a fatastic place, which is far enough away from the main town to enjoy a quiet peaceful holiday, but is about a 5-10 minute bus ride away if you want the main town, shops restaurants and nightlife.
The apartments themselves are basic but very clean and adequate. They are cleaned on a daily basis & towels and bedsheets are changed every other day.
The bar does have food and drinks readily available. I have read previous reports that say that you are tied to the apartments bar where you must eat and drink there or receive a bad reception.
I can only talk from my experience of this matter and of the four times myself and my family have been there this has never ever been the case. Of course they would love you to eat there, but myself and my family ate and drank at the fantastic Elvis bar just around the corner almost every night and not once did we ever receive a bad reception from either the owners or the bar staff at Club Likya.
On the contary, the owners and bar staff could not do enough for us. Any problems if any were promptly sorted, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them day or night.
I would have no problem recommending these apartments to anyone and I will certainly be returning.
So please rest assured if you have booked a holiday to Club Likya you will have a great time. Just remember you are in Turkey not in England, respect their culture and way of life and you will have a fantastic holiday to remember.

Our first holiday to Turkey we stayed here,and would not stay anywhere else.
We have been to Club Likya 5 times. The rooms are basic but very clean. Pool is lovely,sunbeds always available.
Staff are so polite and a bit quick to take your plates away,but only trying to please. They put a good fun bbq night on and all the staff join in. The gardener,chef,etc.
The location is good,about 15 minutes from the seafront and nightlife but some nice restraunts just round the corner with entertainment.
The owners of Club Likya are gentlemen Shenol and Hassan and have always been so kind to us and cant do enough.
We are looking forward to going again this summer,and are taking friends with us.

This was the first time we have been to Turkey and we got told to go to Club Likya Apartments from a women my mam knows who has been 6 times and loves it.
When we got there we were greeted by one of the bar staff William who carried all of our luggage to our room and was very friendly.
The rooms themselves are spotless and spacious. The maids did an excellent job and left rose petals on our beds which I thought was lovely.
The staff all work extremely hard which you will see when you go working up to 18 hours in one day. They always aim to please you and do anything for you. The receptionist was lovely and was very friendly. The bar staff William and Tony were very friendly and you warmed to them straight away especially William who had you laughing all the time especially with his singing (ask him to sing hero!) and dressing up as Elvis.
There is a BBQ once a week which was great and all the staff take part, with games dancing and entertaining you will have a great night!!!!!!!! There are a few shops near by and you are only a short bus drive away or you can walk it to the main centre.
Club Likya is for anyone who wants a good holiday and I would tell anyone to go as it was the best holiday I've had and will be going back!!!!! I promise that you will have an amazing time!!!

I have read the other reviews and would just like to say that the staff were friendly. IF you were spending lots of money in the resort (treble the price of other shops/restaurants) if you did not buy regularly they treated you like you did not exist. Myself and my family were treated very badly indeed as were other guests at the time we were there. There was a couple who had had a disagreement with the owners before we had arrived and because we associated with this couple we were alienated by the staff throughout our stay. That said the hotel was very nice and clean the pool was lovely and it was perfectly situated within walking distance of town several restaurants and the beach I would definitely visit again just not this hotel.

I would recommend these apartments to anyone.
We are going again this year (2006) 3rd time. We have recommended to other friends and family who have been and agree.
The amount of return customers speaks volumes for the hotel alone. The location is great for us 15 mins walk to the centre or 5 mins on the bus (close enough if we want it far enough away to not effect us). Alternatively stay around the apartments at night at least 7 or 8 bars / restaurants less than 5 mins walk.
Staff are really friendly and you see the most of the same staff each year.
The entertainment is really restricted to the bbq but we spend our days around the pool and go out at night only to return for a "night cap or 2". The music is turned down around 12o clock if you want a early night. Kids are made more than welcome and the pool and baby pool are of a good size and kept clean each day. Plenty of beds and if you come down at midday you still get a bed.
The rooms are well sized and air con is available if you want (approx

Been visiting Club Likya now for about 8 years and still love it.
The bar staff are always friendly,happy to help e.c.t.
The Managers are Lovely..I have read other reviews saying that one of them is horrible and spoiled their holiday. I dont think that is true they are lovely always there to help you!
The location is quite set but has built up over the years with a few bars and resturants and shops around the hotel.The short walk (15-20 mins aprox) to the town center is okay if not in midday heat! there is also a short bus ride to the town at a small cost of 1 lira (about 25p ish).
The Holtel is always spotless clean. The maids clean your room everyday.
The bar food is nice. Not to expensive. But if you dont want to eat at the bar the staff are fine with that.
The entertainment consists of 2 bbq nights (wednesday and sunday) its can be a great night a right laugh.
I am visiting Club Likya again this year (2006) and will always go back!
If you are planing on visiting Mamaris i would deffinatly recomend Club Likya its Fantastic..xD
