Stayed in Kervansary in Kundu - great location right on the beach with lovely sea views ( mind you have to deal with the disco unitl 1 am which is loud ).
Food very good so long as you remember no longer in England - lots of variety and always something you will like.
The staff were excellent and they told me they like the British as we are polite - unlike the Russians who for all their wealth still lack manners.
Maybe not worth the five star rating but still good and would good back again for the right price

On arrival we thought the hotel looked very nice. Pool= the pic in brochure has been blown up because the pool is no where near as big as the 1 in there. Umbrellas and sunbeds need re-newing.
FOOD- absolute waste of time. Big salad bar and the rest consisted of 4 trays of luke warm food what was absolute rubbish. Rice everyday and gost, greasy lamb or some other unedible crap in other trays. The sweet side just consisted of some sort of sponge that had been soaked in a sugar syrup and there was a tray of melon aswell!!!!!!
ROOMS- not to bad, quite large but only down side was they were carpeted and the carpet was filthy, loads of stains all over.
BAR- the staff were brill, always had a laugh. Not much 2 choose from though, beer, wine, rakki, gin and vodka. The glasses were always warm aswell.
Had 2 spend again on food, eating out all the time. Go to sincerity just 5 min walk down road. Fantasic staff and very welcoming. Owned by a couple from sunderland. Very nice.

We recently went to Kervansaray in Marmaris, and it was appalling, the bar staff was very rude and miserable. I think the holiday all together was quite good because there was 15 of us and we all had a laugh, the water slides were the best part of the day really. We only made friends with 1 of the entertainers i cant remember his name the one who always wears playboy t-shirts haha !! the rest are miserable. The shows at night were horrific, not funny to me at all.

I stayed in this hotel for 1 week, the hotel is very nice and clean, but the food is not good, entertainment for the children in the day was rubbish. The drinks they only had beer rakki juice wine or vodka, when asked for other spirits they said tomorrow but tomorrow never came. And when the dinning room was closed they served drinks at pool bar but the food at the pool bar is only burgers and fries, I do not want to give children junk food every day. At the pool bar you can only have a a small glass of coke when asked for a large coke the say no need the glasses for the beer, so you keep going back to the bar for drinks.
Some staff rude.

The hotel was clean and most of the staff was friendly.
It was not very good for children as there was not much entertainment, and it was always the same thing.
The food was awful we had to eat out all the time, it is mainly food for Germans. If you like salad you will be ok. They cooked food outside but there was always cats jumping on the surface for the food when the so called chef turned his back. so it was not very hygienic!
The kids pool had 2 broken slides in them which we got the rep to remove as kids was hurting themselves on them. so not much for the little ones.
The safes in the rooms was very dodgy and you had to attempt to open it several times before you could open the door. The buttons was hanging off them and they just tried to glue them on so not very safe!
Becareful if you go with kids and stay near a fire exit as the doors do not close at all and kids was always running through them as a quicker way to the pool.
There is no ice creams although it is all inclusive or supposed to be!

Stayed at Kervansaray Kundu Lara beach with my family.
Rooms very clean excellent pools and water park included on the beach. Not much to do outside hotel.
Food average. Majority of people Russian very rude and unfriendly but other than that a great time.

we have been to this hotel for 4 years and loved it but not this time. the hotel staff have all changed the staff did not speak any english. they were serving drinks to kids as young as 6years old when rep spoke to management they said the staff didnt understand us english.i will not go back anymore

I was very pleased with the hotel. My family had been there to times already, I went with them again in June this year, enjoyed it that much I saved and went again in September.
The rooms were kept very clean. There was a lot to choose from in the restaurant and by the pool throughout the day.
The staff all over the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The entertainment crew were pleasant all day and night. I would come back to this hotel again next year!

When i went to the Kervansary Hotel in 2006, i thought that it was a lovley hotel with lots of things to do during the day. First when we arrived there early hours in the morning we were showed to our rooms and the rooms where spotless.
We then had a few hours sleep and then got up and went down to the pool, where the weather condidtion was very good there was also alot of happy children and adults splashing around in the pool.The food was excellent because there was alot of different selections of food to choose from,further more the entertainment was realy fun,at the end of the night everybody was allowed up on the stage to join in dancing with everybody else.
Overall the hotel was the best hotel that i have bin to and if anybody asks me where they should go on holiday i would recomend this hotel because it is wonderful and the staff are great help.
Thankyou to anybody that reads this because the hotel is amazing and wonderful.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and it was a disaster from start to finish.
The food was appalling, same things every day. It was completely catered for Germans. The drinks that were included in the all inclusive bar were horrid.
Majority of staff spoke very little english and the reception staff were extemely rude.
Woke up one night in bed to find ants crawling all us. Complained to reception several times and they didn't do anything about it until our rep got involved and we made a written complaint. They then sprayed insecticide on my bed and didn't even change the sheets!
Entertainment was non existent.
It rained a number of times whilst we were there and reception was flooded. Rainwater poored through the roof. No signs anywhere - health & safety disaster.
Hotel would not change sterling travellors cheques or even accept turkish lira which is their own currency!
Hotel miles from beach & centre. Beware the taxis that run from just outstide the hotel try to rip you off - always agree a price first
