Being the last (but one) party to be dropped off at our hotel on transfer from the airport, we feared that we would be stranded in the middle of nowhere. However, we quickly realised that the hotels location was perfect.
Situated on a hill set back to the North West of the resort, the views of the surrounding pine-strewn mountains and the resort centre below are nothing less than breathtaking.
If walking, a 20 minute stroll gets you to the seafront and an extra 10-15 minutes gets you to the main bustling town centre/marina etc. HOwever, the first shops/restuarants appear within 5 minutes of the hotel.
The driveway leading to the hotel grounds is guarded by a fleet of taxis waiting to take you to the beach or town centre for approximately

Stayed at the Kervansaray Marmaris, rooms cleaned daily and cleaners very trustworthy, food was good, staff were excellent, every good thing said about this hotel is true, I could`nt find any evidence to back up the bad reviews. I stayed with my wife and five sons aged from 17 to 28 and they all had a fantastic time.thanks to the great staff,including Fartie,M&M, James,Osgoule to name a few, who were pleased to help, the location is a bit out of the way but this is not a problem as the Dolmus is fantastic and taxis cheap. and there are some good pubs a short walk away if you want a break from the hectic main town. I cannot wait to go back next year.

The all inclusive food was briliant I love coming to the hotel because I know what I am getting.
The hotel was very clean nothing to fault on that.
Location was brill because there was taxis and all kinds to get into the town.
Hotel staff was brilliant and very helpful.
I love the entertainment and James as I have known him for a while now and Teo, Nuri, Dj, Tunc, Sandra were all brilliant and had you doing all kinds of things all day.
If I had a chance now I would def go back to this hotel because me, my family and friends all love this hotel and the people in it.
The hotel was very clean nothing to fault on that.

We stayed here in Sept 2004, and after reading the first reports on this hotel we were a little apprehensive, but they could not have been further from the truth.
The Hotel cleanliness is superb and the cleaner who looked after our room was wonderful.
Food & Entertainment are not the best, but on the food side you will always find something to eat, salad selection was plentiful, butter was horrible, so anyone going take your own, and each week we decided to eat a couple of times as it breaks up the weeks. Food down in resort is wonderful, and very reasonable.
On the entertainment side, we are not into hotel entertainment, so it does not bother us much, we prefer to have a few drinks after dinner then wander down into the resort, till the wee small hours.
There are 2 large slides in the hotel and we made as much use of them as the kids did.
The hotel is a little further out of town, but we liked this, as it is very peaceful at night.
The dolmus service is impeccable an we were never off them, the hotel does have a courtesy bus but we never used it.
We enjoyed this hotel so much that we are going back this year, this our 4th visit to Turkey, and we absolutely love it, I cannot envisage visting anywhere else for the foreseebale future.

If you arrive after 5 am make sure you pack a torch so you can see the room number as the corridor lights are turned off. We then found only 3 beds - not what you need at 5.30 am.
Reception staff were unhelpful, if you want to know where a chemist is, be prepared to hear 'in town' with no further directions, when I went to see the nurse who claimed she could not speak English I was conned into seeing a doctor at a cost of

Stayed in apartment opposite main hotel. Rooms were clean and tidy with up stairs and down.
The food was ok evening meal nice, lunch not always, sometimes better having pizza by the pool.

I returned to stay in the kervansaray for one week having previously stayed here in June. Yet again I could not find fault with the hotel.
The hotel is spotlessly clean with cleaning staff on 24 hrs a day. The staff go beyond there call of duty to make everyone happy.
The food was still of a great standard with something to suit everyone. The location is perfect just far enough away from the hustle of town. The entertainment was still a bit of a let down, but no one can fault the enertainment staff as the get everyone to join in.
I have booked up for next year and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Go and give it a try for yourselves and afterwards be the holiday critic.

Just like to say a big thankyou to all the hotel staff,had a cracking time,hotel staff were great the food was brilliant.Rooms were spacious and were cleaned daily, air conditioning was great. The swimming pool was great has 2 slides which is excellent for the children. Entertainment was ok varied different nights,the entertainment staff were always doing different activities through the day,the only down side was they catered for more of the adults than the children. I would recommend this hotel as a great get a way from it all.

Hotel Kervansaray , We travelled with our 3 grandaughters ages 16 13 and 10 years. They all loved the swimming pool, even if you couldnt get sunbed (BECAUSE OF THE GREEDY VISITORS putting all their towels on them first thing in the morning and then only using them of part of the day] the mangement did try to control this which we thank them for. We found all the staff very friendly and helpful and always willing. The girls would have liked to have icecream for desert, but alway managed to find something they liked, Thought the evening entertainment could be better. The hotel is quite far from the centre but bus was very easy to use. We all felt very safe and enjoyed our weeks holiday

We stayed in the Kervansery Hotel, Marmaris. On the whole we were very happy with both the accommodation and the location, we enjoyed the location of the hotel which is set in lovely country side, a small selection of bars and restraunts is just a small walk away and Marmaris is easily accessible by taxi or bus. On the whole we were very happy. Pool was very clean and lovely views whilst you relaxed. The only down fall for us was the entertainment which in the evening was a bit basic, but entertainment staff tried very hard to entertain.
