Staff at hotel were very unfriendly and unhelpfull apart from Lucas. Room was a joke not only was the door handle to the balcony broke there was a constant leak in the one bedroom which we complained about and nothing was done, the air con was very poor we had light bulbs in the apartment blow but they were not replaced. The slide which is advertised in the brochure was very limited and only comes on for 15 minutes certain times of the day. Having said all this a holiday is what you make it and we still had a good time.

i just went to the maxwell hotel and i would definitely go again! which hopefully me & my family are

there were a few problems as the air con leaked and 1 of us had an accident on a sheet and it took all day to get another one because of the old man at reception. luckily Ossiy helped us!

the bar staff are great especially lucas he made most of the holiday worthwhile. i would advise your children not to go walking down the stairs on the slide if it gets turned off because i did that fell and broke my toe

This was our first time to Turkey was a bit worried by what pepole said.

There were 17 of us altogether 4 families it was the best holiday ever.

Lucas, Ozzy, Sunny, Victor, Denez, Carlos, and the rest of the bar staff, kitchen staff(lucky)were fantastic love to see you all again next year xxxxxxxx

it was our 1st time to turkey. there were 4 families who went 17 of us altogether. it was absolutely fantastic the staff could not do enough for you.victor,ozzy,deniz,carlos,lucas,lucky,sunny and the rest of the bar staff were brilliant,and also the dj they made it a perfect holiday for us all. love to all of you and hope to see you all again next year. xxxxxx

The hotel was ok, the rooms were always clean but after the first roll of loo paper you had to supply your own! The staff were good. Except for one called Deniz who became a little obsessed with me and was more like a stalker than a waiter. Somehow he managed to get my mobile number from reception and harrassed me continually for the rest of my holiday and a few days when I got back to England. Until I got his number blocked. His texts and phone calls in the end were quite abusive, so ladies beware!

The hotel is in a great location, we stayed at the hotel for food a couple of times and it was lovely. The turkish night was very good and the staff are amazing, they cannot do enough for you and were fantastic with the kids (Lucas, Milan, Victor and Ossie do an amasing job), especially my very tempremental 3yr old!! The maid service is superb, every day our room was cleaned with fresh towels every other day and sheets changed twice a week. Our maid was a really lovely lady who kept leaving very pretty decorations on our beds with flowers and the towels made into swans.

My family have just returned from this hotel today after two weeks. I laugh when I read some of the reviews some people must be writing about the wrong place. The truth is the Hotel itself is not so bad the rooms are sufficient not must wardrobe space but managable. The maids are excellent and work very hard especially Halima! The air con in our room was good in the bedroom but the other room was just blowing warm air. The kids pool is a joke and not so clean the big pool is far too deep for children and non swimmers. The slide is only turned on occassionly for 15mins at a time. During our stay two young boys were taken to hospital after falling at the slide and pool area as this is very slippy Dont let your kids run by the pool. The staff are terrible except Lucas he is very friendly and helpful. On more than one occassion we were brought bills for drinks from the bar for days that we were even away on trips. I advise all to pay as you go do not take out a tab they even went up to my 11 year old daughter and asked her for the money for drinks which she didnt get. Towels are left out as early as 5.30 but in last few days of our stay they started to lift all towels and told people no towels to be left out before 8am pool area is to small for amount of guests. Alot of people went to other hotel pools which were much bigger and safer.
All in all we had a great holiday and met many nice people, the hotel is fine if you avoid the bar and most staff

maxwell club is excellent for family holidays with so much going on all day for young & adults. it is spotlessly clean,any problems were dealt with quickly.
entertainment & bar staff were fantastic & easy to get along with all but one. service at pool bar was great.
some reception staff had limited english but always someone on hand to help. there is one english girl on reception who was fantastic.
location off aparts was 5/10 minutes from beach & restaurants, several supermarkets within 2 min walk from aparts, some of which giving lovely fresh bread twice daily free of charge.

Well where do I start, we arrived around midday, reception called for staff from the bar to help with our cases, the staff didn't have a clue where our room was and had us trailing around the hotel. Finally we made it to our room, on the top floor of block 4. Room was like a sweat box, the bedrooms had a tiny little window in each, approximately 10cm squared, didn't let any air in whatsoever. When booking the hotel we had asked for a low floor room due to medical reasons. The following morning we asked for a change of room, which they did within around 4 or 5 hours. The next room was on the ground floor, had big bedrooms and huge windows that opened..:)

The pool wasn't very clean, around 6 children and two adults all had ear infections within our first few days of arriving. The pool is also 6ft deep all the way round, so not ideal for non-swimmers, the childrens pool is again very tiny, sort of a triangle shape one metre in length and at the widest maybe 30cm, put it this way, you put two children (babies) in there and it's full! You could say the pool isn't really children friendly.

The youngest child travelling with us had a very bad ear infection and had to go to hospital. We went to reception to ask where the nearest hospital was and if we had the correct documentation to help us, there was a lovely english woman on reception who was just about to help us, when an old turkish man came over and told her not to help us, saying we would need to sort it ourselves. The lady did want to help, but the older turkish man was shouting at her (in front of us) telling her not to get involved and it was nothing to do with them...? Not very helpful to say the least!

The maids came into the apartment daily to "clean" this generally meant a quick sweep round and the occasional change of towels.

There was quite a lot of entertainment on at the hotel, although we didn't see much of it. The bar prices were very high for a hotel, and the prices even went up the second week we were staying there as the hotel was a lot busier!

The food was ok, but again expensive and the prices went up the second week we were there.

There's no way i'd visit this hotel again, mainly due to the old man on reception, the pool and the lack of sunbeds around the pool. There was around 56 sunbeds for over 250 guests, it got so bad, people were out at 6am putting towels on the sunbeds!

We arrived in the early morning, given our room on the ground floor. The room was very dark, dull very hot and had no privacy from the people sitting at the pool area.The windows had no nets or blinds for privacy so we had to keep dark curtins closed at all times in that room. It was very clean but dark and made you feel as if we were in a cave. It was also very noisey even at 7am in the morning.
We changed rooms with no problem atall but still had the same problem stuffy and dark. Bathrooms need some sort of extractor as it gets very hot and has no ventilation.Our room was cleaned very well but did not recieve toilet paper the whole week we stayed.
The pool was lovely but foggy n didint look very clean.Some of the staff at the bar were slow and not very polite at times. The entertainment was ok but we didnt seem to be attracted enough to stay there and watch.The food we did eat in the hotel was quick and nice. I dont think i would visit the hotel again but it is in a brilliant location is very clean but does need work on the rooms and staff.
