The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

reception & bar on top floor most 2 bedrooms on top floors, but bigger balconies lower down.

Just returned from PR and have to say we would return, there is something for everyone young and old, theres plenty of places to eat and drink at and to suit every budget, would recommend the San Miguel restaurant nice food and reasonably priced.The only thing we did not like was being hassled by PR's to eat in there place and those timeshare touts are a pain(Anfi) just tell them you already been and they will not hassle you.Amadoress beach was lovely nice walk from round PR on the walkway, just watch out for the potato men (con men) I cant believe how many people fall for this scam, weather was fantastic and no doubt will return in the near future

I have been coming to Gran Canaria for 8 years and i love the atmosphere in both Playa Del Ingles and Peurto Rico. The place is friendly and the bars are good. If you like Live music head to Magowan's barin the commercial centre - most people head to Scruffy Murphys, the Harp or Molly Malones but Magowans has better music, is more intimate and more friendly - musch like being in your favourite local at home. If you go in more than once you are treated like long lost friends and it is typical great irish hospitality! The Harp, Scruffys and Molly Malones do not treat you with the same friendliness although the music is ok (just not as good as Magowans). Magowans is the only bar on the island who play live music only and do not rely on backing tapes to sing along to!
Ther is a SUBWAY rolls takeaway in the iresort which do lovely rolls if you are peckish and there is a vast array of restaraunts. I tried to vary where i ate every night and did not have a bad meal once. Although some of the restaraunts right on the harbour tend to be alot dearer - stick in the commercial centre as they are all in competition with one another and are priced more reasonably! Have a nice time!

i think the resort was brilliant. i had a great time in puerto rico also playa de ingles is good too for night life!

we have stayed in peurto rico many times some times up to three times a year and we like it a lot the two beaches are well up to standard with the one in amadores being the one we like best. many bars and restarants around the area europa centre and down main shopping centre

Puerto rico is very hilly with most apartments built into the mountain.It's very easy to find your way around as it is not very big.We found the beach wasn't very clean so we stayed at the pool.Plenty of nice restaurants around the marina.We would visit this resort again as it felt very safe.We were staying in apartments on the marina which was the nicest part of the resort.

The resort was really nice plenty of bars , resturants and shops along the beech all resonably prices.. plenty of sunbeds which are 3 euros each but you got them for the full day

The Resort Cleanliness is to a very high standed.
and the Entertainment is very much enjoyable
the beach was Excellent with cristal clear water.

centre had everything bars and plenty of places to eat resort was prety clean good shows amordes beach was the nicest ver clean third time in puerto rico but this area is quite old and apartments badly need to be updated if going again would stay up near amordes beach all new hotels and apartments and more updated

In fact we noticed that the whole resort was cleaned on a regular basis (also no mosquitoes!) and there seemed to be a pride from the townspeople. I think that this is because many Spanish stay here or have holiday homes here.
Certainly a good mix of people not just the 'larger louts'. The centre was noisy at night but elsewhere there seemed to be a strict 'no-noise after midnight' rule, probably because there were so many Spanish living in Puerto Rico.
The Maracaibo was self-catering so we eat out most evenings and found that there were a very good choice of places to eat (the most that we have ever come across!).
