Near the Andorra are a group of bars. Check out The Soul Bar. Also The Restaurant Margarita -really good food. Great music especially by Mikey Mike who works in both places.

All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views
Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.

I love this resort, it has changed so much over the years, its soo upmarket, nice clean pavements, good roads, tree lined streets, and good lighting. I hate it when americas gets tarnished by people who think its "Veronicas" throughout, they haven't even been, and the snobs who think christanos is the place, no way! This part of Americas is clean, quite, relaxed and stunning, plus its got all the upmarket hotels there!
We loved the patch at night for entertainment, a row of bars with singers, comedians etc, a great night for all.
Beach was very clean, and NO the sand is NOT black!
Id go to americas every year, I love it, and its great for kids too.
Dont miss a trip to Loro Parque, one word FANTASTIC!!

The resort is being up dated and just before Veronicas (from the marina end)is a bit whiffy.
Didn`t see any shows so can`t comment.
Disappointed with beach and the sea is a bit dirty.
Can`t be that bad though,we are going back.

Costa Adeje is really quite nice for Tenerife. It is situated inbetween Playa De Las Americas and Playa Del Duque. Both are within walking distance with the later being more upmarket. Costa Adeje is a good compromise between the two. Its beach area is lovely, clean and has some great bars and restaurants.
Would definitely return in the future.

The resort was nice, plenty of little shops and bars etc, the beach was ok, only went there once. Overall very nice hotel and resort, would visit again.

Fanabe/Adeje had wide range of places to eat. We really enjoyed the Dolphin Show at Aqualand but thought the pools could have been cleaned better. The beach was good too.
Churrasqueria Rodeo - this is a Restaurant across the motorway, the meal is a set price, you receive a card with a green side and a red side. You help yourself to salads, rice, potatoes etc, you turn your card to green and the staff come round with meat of skewers, 21 different types (thats if you get that far and can eat that much) we tried about 5 and then turned our cards to red and were not offer any more meats, don't forget to leave room for the Dessert Trolley. We arrived early and had a great evening, but I would think it could get quite noisy when packed.

Playa Fanabe is lovely.Me and my boyfriend are both in are 20's so we did find that we needed to go into the livelier part of las americas for a good night out. Thats not to say that there wasnt plenty to do in Fanabe.Lovely restaurants...highly recommend the 'Brasserie'for food!

Great area. So clean and tidy. Mega shops, bars restaurants.
No time share touts whilst we were there. Only the normal guys with the watches and daft hats!.
This part of PDLA has so much within a few minutes walk that you do not need to venture out of the area.
The strip behind the shopping malls is great for entertainment. There are about a dozen bars/restaurants with live entertainment every night, from Irish singers, comedians, soul singers etc. Hole in the Wall especially good.
