just returned from a fantastic two week holiday, it was our first time in turkey. the staff are fantastic i have an 18 year old daughter and not once did i find the waiters to be sleazy .it was a fun holiday it was that good we have booked for next year.the entertainment was a laugh. the only down side was that we had to come home. cant wait for next year, one of our best holidays,

hotel rooms basic but clean, reception and cleaning staff fantastic but bar staff were sleazy and only interested in serving young girls. the food was mostly English junk food but as most of the other holiday makers were overweight anyway this didn't seem to matter to most of them. the place is full of scousers, reps included, so if you are from up north you will love it here. if you are a southerner you can expect to mostly ignored which suited most of us anyway! although this place is supposed to cater for families there is definitely an unsavoury element here and this is why we would not recommend for anyone travelling with children or anyone with a sense if dignity. we witnessed fights, both around the pool and in the corridors, swearing and drinking around the pool during the day and a very clear north/south divide throughout the resort. we met several other Londoners whilst here and they reported the same undertone as us, the place is more like being on a set the royal family/shameless and for this reason we would not visit here again. that being said, marmaris is lovely although it has become so commercialised that very little of the real turkey remains. you may as well holiday at butlins.

went to club exelsior in july.. what great apartments. we stayed in the exelsior junior.the staff were excellent, really made us welcome, especially tj and ozzy, they were all great. the food was good, the drinks were a bit expensive and we couldnt take drinks round the pool area,( but we got round that ). there was water gym every day with saija ( the entertainment girl ) she was lovely. miss doing all the dances. the rooms were cleaned every day, the air con was freezing through the night, but you needed it especially when the daily temperatures were getting to the 50s.. it was so hot, but great.there is a taxi rank right outside these apartments, and there is a supermarket next door...one thing that was bad here, we all had tattoos done at the club exelsior next door. my cousin as had to have hers re coloured since being at home, (we was only home 2 weeks) the colour wasnt very good..so be careful..but what a great holiday, hoping to go back next year, the best holiday i have been on.. you wont go wrong choosing these apartments

what a fantastic hotel the club excelsior is , clean friendly, staff work so hard day and night and a always happy and never moan.food fantasic choice for kids as well, quick service and hot food, drinks cheap and plenty of it. entertaiment fab in the day but a let doen at night, the mini disco was not good at all.
going back enxt year in july for our honeymoon can't wait lisa and danielle you were fab and made rob's 40th outstanding fun thank you and all the bar and resturant staff for making our holiday fantastic,we played all the pool games which are really good fun and you get to meet great people and at night the kids were safe playing around with their new friends . first night there had kids knocking our doors and running away at 1am so parents please keep a eye on your kids at night and on't let them run wild keeping everyone awake please. overall can't wait for next year. don't push waiters in pool they have to pay for their money machine if broken.

Just returned from a week at the Club Excelsior. Booked hotel based on reviews and was more than happy with decision. Excellent family complex incorporating 2 bars and restaurants, 2 large pools (both with slides) and kids club run by hotel as well as Thomas Cook. The whole place was really clean and the rooms were cleaned daily. Air con in both bedroom (free) and living area (

Lovely hotel,very polite,friendly and helpful staff.Had a fantastic holiday here. Marmaris is a beautiful place. Going again this year but for 2weeks, different hotel im afraid though as fully booked when we are due to go.

as a family we have never been to turkey so we did not know what to expect. we were blown away by how friendy the turkish people are. they could not do enough for you. we could not get faye (10) out of the pool she loved going down the slide in many different and amusing ways. the hotel room was very roomy we did not expect them to be so big we all felt that we had space and was not cramped. the food on the other hand was fair there were too many common english choices and not enough of traditional turkish dishes. we had an awsome time,and we are looking forward to going back in the summer.

We have stayed at Club Excelsior 8 times now and would not stay anywhere else in Turkey! The staff are so friendly and entertaining! In our party we had 7 teenagers and not once did they complain they are bored. We feel that the children are safe here. Tom, Hakan, Rocky, Amhet and the rest of the team really work hard to ensure that everyone is happy and enjoying themselves. The on site photographer Bulent takes excellant pictures and is so funny. I would really recommend Club Excelsior to anybody who is thinking of visiting Turkey. It really is the best! I can not wait to go back again. x
