I recently stayed in the Club Exelsior apartments and I was totally blown away! I'd never visited Turkey before and was amazed by how clean the rooms were.
The maids cleaned our room daily and we recieved plenty of clean towels. The maids were very polite, cheerful and also very understanding.
The food in the resort was very nice and reasonbly priced and in the evenings there was a happy hour from 8-9 and a cocktail hour from 9-10 which was fantastic as the waiters did not hang around nd waste time.
The hotel staff were unbelievably hepful and all the waiters were very friendly but not in your face constantly.
My favorite waiters were Sonet Mehmet and R2. They were so funny and really helpful. The entertainment was fab and had a variety something for everyone.
I'd recommend this hotel for everyone.

What can I say about this hotel? The best ever! Love it to bits!!! Nothing bad to say bout it!! I'm 17 now and I've been going since I was 12.
Things have changed alot but it is still brilliant! Bought one of the greenhouses 2! Just a perfect holiday!!!..

This was the first time I had been to Turkey although my husband visted 12 years ago and I was very happy with how clean the place was.
The hotel was very nice although we had to stick to the deep end of the pool has there was glass in the shallow end and nothing was done about this we did and so did many other people the diffrent staff about it.
The hotel is very noisy at night so if you are a light sleeper it would be no good for you our room was above the park which did not close till between 11:30 and 12:00am and has we had little ones(1 year old and 4 year old) we had problems getting them to sleep.
Also they let the children run up and down the halls knocking on the doors has they run past this went on till after 2am we phoned reception a number of times they did nothing about it.
The food was ok at the restaurant but you can get better else were. All in all we will never go back to this hotel.

The hotel we stayed in was Club Excelsor apartment which is a self catering hotel and is very clean.
The location is 15 mins from Marmaris about 5 mins in a taxi. The hotel staff are excellent certainly the best. Entertanment was great especially for kids. For everyone Turkish night on a Wednesday was lovely.
I would definitely come back to this hotel booking up for 2006. Can't wait.

The hotel cleanliness was the best ever.
I love the hotel staff especially Yasar and Erhan. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
But when I visited Excelsior (club) at night it was terrible the hotel staff burnt a mans shirt because they were letting off fire works.

The best place I've stayed in. Excellent maid service, rooms were cleaned everyday to a very high standard.
Food from the hotel bar was great and the staff were absolutely brilliant, they cannot do enough for you.
Always something going on at exelsior jr, lots of fun. Accomodation is about ten minutes walk to beach front but easily reached in taxi which was not expensive....can't wait to go again roll on 2006..

Just got back from 2 weeks at this hotel and will be going back next year. The rooms were cleaned every day and the maids were excellent always leaving petals on the bed or making patterns with the towels.The hotel is in an excellent location 10-15 mins walk or

We had a fabulous two weeks at the club excelsior. All the staff were friendly and great with the kids.
The pools are fantastic nad very clean with good slides. spent most of the two weeks by the pool. Hotel is far enough out of town to be away from the major hustle and bustle.
We had a room at the back of the hotel and was great as it was quiet at night. Had to get up early to reserve sun beds, they let you do it although signs say dont.
Food is good, and we tended to have a late breakfast and this did us to night time. If you are tending to stay at the hotel alot use their tom system as you svae 20 per cent every time yopu eat and have a drink.
Great place and going back next year.

What a fantastic set of apartments, this place was truly fantastic and had something for all ages!
The range of daytime and evening entertainment was superb! Loaded, a band who perform twice a week are not to be missed, and awesome John was just that (although I could kill Engin for making me participate in the belly dancing section of this set!)
The hotel staff are fantastic, esp. big shouts out for Engin, Eerkan, Levent and Craig David! (There is a guy behind the bar who really really looks like the man himself! Keep your eyes open and I'm sure you'll agree!)
Definitely be visiting again.

Stayed in the Club Excelsior in Marmaris for 2 weeks in October with my girlfriend.A great hotel if you have children as there is plenty for them to do, especially by the pool.Entertainment at night is great but we didnt see very much as we went into the resort centre most nights.Wanted a quiet holiday but did'nt get it as the children were always running around daft.Staff were mostly helpful but I found that if you were'nt a young woman you got overlooked by the bar staff.Rooms were very clean as the maid came in every day to change the bed and towels. The girlfriend got two tattoos and I got one.If you've never had the courage to get a tattoo get one at the Excelsior as you hardly feel any pain.Don't know if we'll be back to the Excelsior as we prefer a more central location but then that's just us.
