Although clean and the facilities are pretty good, I would say that it only just scrapes it's 3 stars. Maybe a 2 plus would be more accurate.
If you are self catering, you only get provided with ONE toilet roll for the stay and you are expected to provide for the rest of the stay.

This is a terrific hotel staff courteous and friendly
And wonderful food from the restaurant to the front well presented buffet style breaky by the pool side and no worries during those power failures the epic has a full power back up system good selection of bars and shops a stones throw

We went to the Epic this year, we got the holiday as last minute cancellation and the resort and accomodation was unnamed. We found the hotel clean and the staff were all great. Especially Elvis!!! The Turkish night is a must, especially the games which we did partake in and won! We tried booking again for the Epic this year with the children but all rooms only hold four. We will try and escape on our own at some point, but are going back to Turkey in May with the brats!

Just arrived back from epic hotel as a group of 4 friends we found the hotel spotlessly clean, maid service good, clean towels and bedding every few days. Hotel staff very friendly, pool bar and front bar good for day and night entertainment. A must see is Jimmy the belly dancer(very funny). Hotel in good location for bars and resturants, marmaris centre only 10 to 15 mins walk away taxis also very cheap. The best holiday we have had, we would go back tomorrow if we could. Plenty going on for the kids. Staff very friendly and really good with the kids. Rooms very clean and the pool was excellent.

The epic was reaaly clean, and the staff were great and really helpful. There was plenty to do for all ages round the pool, and never a quiet boring moment, with the staff providing constant entertainment, with their dancing etc. It quite central too, and theres loads of bars near.

I traveled to Marmaris as a single parent with 2 children aged 11 and 8 years. This was my first holiday abroad with the chidren so it was very daunting to say the least. The Epic was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff were only to pleased to help in any way that they could, although our Aitours rep could never be found when you needed her.

All staff were Fantastic, The ladies on reception Gudun and phyllis were really friendly and gave us a tearful send off at the end of our holiday. the waiters & pool staff couldn't do enough for you......

The Epic is at the edge of developement in a semi local rersidential area so it is a bit quieter than central. Quite easy to lose this hotel in the dark so make sure you know where you are before venturing out. Nice comfortable patio bar at front of hotel, good pool area with plenty of sunbeds. room was small / basic/ clean with fridge (unusual for B&B)and small TV at no extra charge but you do have to pay for air conditioning and a balcony.
Waiters very friendly and well behaved and had no probs with them. There is nice cheap cafe right opp the hotel which never seems to close.
I understand this hotel was British built.
A word of warning for all Turkey, watch out for the shoe shine boys, they will have your eyes if you are not familiar with the currency.

We stayed in the Epic Hotel Marmaris it was brill we have been to this hotel 17 times even though the staff have come and gone it is still a great hotel.
It is very clean the staff are the best you can walk into the centre of Marmaris if you want it only takes about 10 minutes or you could pay 20p and get the dolmus.
