My husband and I stayed at the Club Cettia apartments. We chose these apartments based on Thomas Cooks 4* rating. Believe me whilst the hotel rooms might be 4* the apartments are nowhere near this rating. They are very basic, the rugs in the rooms are stinking and the walls are grubby and could do with a lick of paint. If you are taller than 3 foot and are given keys to room 511, my advice is to refuse them. However if you do accept or you are told there are no other rooms avaialable (as we were)then ask the receptionist to supply you and your family with hard hats. The only people who would possibly feel at home here were the seven dwarfs, even Snow White would have complained. No, seriously, your head room is really restricted and after you have hit your head a couple of times, you will spend the rest of the holiday reminding everyone else in your party to duck. If you enjoy spending time on the balcony, forget it, its depth is approximately 2.5 foot and on opening the door you have approximately 12 inches to squeeze around the table. Two days before our return we were moved to appartment 209 which was adjacent to the waterslide and overlooking the pool. Great improvement in terms of size but again the carpet was stinking and the room needed a lick of paint. I note from the holiday truth website there is a link to Club Cettias website. The rooms on the website look fabulous don't they? DON'T BE FOOLED. Whilst the rooms in the Hotel might look like these photographs, they are not showing you the rooms in the self catering apartments.

The majority of staff, as reported by other on this website are polite and friendly. The staff at the pool bar whilst being friendly will rip you off if you are not careful. Whilst some staff look at you stupid and walk away when you ask them for change, others say they havent got change and will owe you it. You have got as much chance of seeing this money as Thomas Cook sorting out your problem. No offence to Louise(Rep)she is a lovely girl who is very professional, listens to what you have to say, takes your complaint seriously but is powerless to provide you with satisfactory result. So if you have any complaints please don't take it out on her, just remember that she takes direction from Thomas Cook. So in conclusion would I stay at these apartments again? Definately Not. Would I stay at the Hotel? If I were guaranteed that the rooms were exactly as they appear on the Cettia website. Yes.

The hotel is on a hill so if you find walking hard this hotel may not be for you.

It's not a 4 star hotel I have stayed in many 4 stars and this is not one. The pool has a film on it so use at own risk (I got a bad eye from it)

Benji nice to you at first but all he wants is you to spend some money in his shop. The men at bar flitter from women to women all day.

The room carpets are all dirty. The hotel is better then the apartments so if your staying in there you may have a better holiday.

Stay well clear of this hotel and Turkey very over priced.

The apartment we got was in the attic so we asked to be moved and we were with no fuss.

Moved to apartment next to Benjis shop what a wonderful friendly guy. He took my husband three times to the chemist in Marmaris on his bike. Couldnt make a boat trip so he rung up the company at no charge and explained for us . Nothing was to much trouble for this guy he is a diamond.

We never had a meal at the hotel but we did have snacks and they were very good value kids mealsd are massive enough for two. The location wasnt very good as it is in the Armutulan area (suburbs) but it was very easy to get into Marmaris via the dolmus.

Drinks were more expensive at the apartments but we only stayed for happy hour buy one get one free then we went out to eat. Make sure you go into Marmaris for a meal because they are all competing against one another so you can get some very good inexpensive meals.

The staff at the apartments are excellent especially Ash and Ferrit the managers are miserable but luckily the staff more than make up for those two.

I will definitely return with my girls again this year we are going to Olu Deniz but we will be hiring a car and driving up to Club Cettia to see them all again.

it was the first time in turkey for us. first impresions was ok. the night staff and the bell boy were all very pleasent which came to us a nice welcome. the rooms were cleaned everyday, and was disinfected half way through our holiday.the only down side of being self catering was .... you had to buy your own toilet roll!!!! but apart from that self catering was great. the hotel was set back from the beach, but it was only a 15 - 20 minute walk. but that didnt bother us at all. we went with another party and both our daughters got with two lads (turkish). the hotel staff are lovely, we got really chatty with haluk. both our daughters again loved him to bits. about three waiters went in the pool which amused lots of guest at the hotel.
watch out for benjie who owns the hotels gift shop.he likes to compliment you alot ( he always called us top totty)but it does get alittle streesful at times.
we didnt go to the entertainment but from the little bit what we saw it was very entertaining. especially for children. for people who like to eat out or who are self-catering i would highly recomend elvis bar, sarah bar and the one that mine and the other partys daughter like ( because of the boys) is cousins. they are really friendly(but so is every body in turkey). i would highly recomend club cettia resort to anybody. and i have book to go next year. the other party stayed in the hotel and was very pleased with the hotel to.

I visited these Apartments a year ago and to me this is the best Holiday resort in Europe.

I have visited places like Spain, France and many more and the best place is Marmaris Turkey. IT is a short distance from the town.

The staff are very friendly and the rooms are very, very clean. Anyone wanting a fun and enjoyable holiday should visit here.

we went on holiday to cettia with friends and found the whole experience in turkey amazing the apartments were lovely and clean we were self catering but had a few breakfasts at the apartments very tasty, the location was fine for us as we are all pretty fit and like to walk we had friends in a hotel in the centre of marmaris but didnt mind the walk down at all, the hotel staff were brill and very friendly. never stayed for the night time entertainment but the day time fun was great, as was the bingo at 4pm. sarahs and elvis bar for meals and drinks at night were out of this world portions huge and service brill benjy has to get a special mention does he still have my hat ? would definately return to these apartments

Apartments were basic but adaquate, have to supply own loo rolls. First drink in apartment bar on arrival we were charged 16 mill for two small beers and a coke!!!

After realising we'd been ripped off that was the only money we spent on the food drink entertainment side within the apartment complex. The following morning around the pool we were warned to watch out for the bar and entertainment staff by other holiday makers.

The apartment pool is of one depth aprox 5 feet which is no good if your children aren't strong swimmers my husband had to dive in to rescue our child whom got into trouble and panicked when he couldn't reach for the side or touch base with his feet.

From then on we used the hotel pool which had graduated depths.

All the staff that worked in the shops, reception, cleaners even the bell boy were very nice and nothing was too much trouble but because of our initial bad experience with the poolside bar and the warning, we used these apartments as a base and went off site everyday for entertainment elsewhere.

Location was perfect far enough away for peace and quiet but near enough if you want the opposite.

We stayed all inclusive in the hotel and had no complaints at all. Our room was always cleaned well and we were told if we left our towels on the floor they would be replaced with clean ones, which they were.

The staff were always really polite and friendly and we couldn't get over how many languages they attempted to speak, even if it was a few phrases to the guests from different countries, although the common language was English. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they kept smiling despite the long hours they work. Remarkable.

The food was excellent - ok no bacon & eggs but when you're in a different country you eat the local food. There was such a good selection of different food that no-one could go hungry. There was something for everyone. We put weight on as we enjoyed it so much and we weren't there for all the meals either. We always had a good breakfast and we were back for the evening meals but only had a couple of lunches and one snack at the hotel as we were enjoying our holiday sightseeing.

With us not spending all day at the hotel we can't comment on the entertainment, but we did hear the childrens entertainment wasn't great. They did do their best in the evenings to put on a show though. Oh and the swimming pool is very cold!!

Other than that the hotel is brilliant.
