Dont know were to start about our holiday to club cettia apartments only words i can think to describe it is amazing. We went to the same apartments last year and will go again next year we enjoy it so much, they are the friendliest and most helpful people ive ever met. There is tom, jerry, ozzy(the funniest person ever), ash(head waiter), hudo(friends for ever),thomas(best dancer in marmaris), soner(jelly head), mustafa, semih and unal(lovely lads), then there is james and his assistant(excellent chef). The entertainment is very good, the turkish bath is a must and the jewellers is also worth a visit at the hotel. All in all a fantastic holiday will be booking again for next year.

This was the most amazing holiday ever...woul deffinatly recommend it. the staff are lovely and make you feel welcombe from start to finish. The rooms were cleaned every day and there was always something for you to do during the day. I took my 11month old baby and he loved it...everyone loves children out there so dont be offended if they try to pick your baby up. Hopefully going back in september and summer next year. The food was lovely and they all spoke good english. By far the best holiday ever.

On arriving the hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was very spacious.
The food was not so good though. We always stay AI and this is the worst i have ever had. The children hardly ate anything all holiday. The breakfasts were the worst. You had to sift through the pile of plates to find a clean one which wasn't nice.
The bar will only serve you 2 drinks at a time and this resorted to me having several arguments with the bar man as i was a single mum with 3 kids who all needed drinks. It wasn't until i spoke to the rep who had a word with the bar manager that they made an allowence for me. Everyone was complaining.
The hotel entertainment wasn't bad at all and we had a few laughs. The pools are great with a sun canapy over the childs pool which was fab for the children. In the afternoon there was cake which was placed outside with no cover and flies were all over it, it was disgusting. From 5pm-7.30pm you could't get anything to eat which was very poor for AI. and at 11pm you had to pay for all your drinks. The hotel is full of Scotts which were loud and swearing infront of children.

the hotel was cleaned every two days clean towels bedding etc. i wouldnt rate this hotel a 4 star we stayed in room 211 we got 2 single beds which is no good for a couple and the people above was partying till five oclock in the morning they might be on holiday but you should have some consideration for the people staying at the hotel aswell good job we didnt bring the child. we complained and arranged to move rooms we got moved to a different room it was a double bed which was better for us but again alls you could ear was noise all night from the people above scraping there chairs across the wooden floor we had to put tissue in our ears to get asleep you could ear people next door to us goin to the toilet you could ear a pin drop you would expect alot more from a 4 star appartment.

me and my friend were a little bit anxious about coming to this hotel as i am 20 and my friend is 19, as it appeared to be very family orientated. however i am glad to say that it turned out to be the best holiday we have ever been on.
from the minute we arrived all the staff were lovely and eager to help. they even have bell boys to help you to your room with a fancy gold luggage cart, they do expect a small tip for there services.
we were pleasantly surprised with the food on offer, for breakfast there was the typical buffet arrangement which varied on a day to day basis plus outside there was an area with a chef where you could get american style pancakes and omelletes freshly made.for those who want a typical full english now and then id recommend the apartments restaurant just across the road where i used to get a massive one for 8 lira. for lunch there was a great selection of fresh salads plus lots more. in the afternoon on the outside section they served burgers and chips ect which is great for kids.
the evening meals were fantastic, as well as the buffet they had a bbq arrangement outside where there was fresh cooked meats. the turkish night kebabs were gorgeous. its best to sit outside to eat your evening meal as then you have a table for the nights entertainment if your staying in the hotel, we found if you ate inside it was difficult to get a seat outside later on.
the entertainment was great if somewhat slightly cheesy but suitable for families. throughout the day there were different kinds of pool competitions and music.
the best part about the hotel for us was the free coach they put on every night at 11 which took u down to bar street the main clubbing area as it is around 20 - 30 lira in a taxi. the entertainment crew then go into a nightclub with you and stay untill 3 when the coach fetches you back to the hotel. this not only saved us money but made us feel safer when we were out as there was only 2 of us. we also discovered that if you dont want to stay in that particular night club you can find out where the coach is picking everyone up go off on your own and meet them later.
if you go with thomas cook and enjoy clubbing i reccomend the booze cruise, its around 5 pound, a coach picks you up at 8 takes you to the boat where u play several drink related games and they have special offers such as vodka for 5 lira ( in the clubs it is between 10 - 15 lira), they then take you to 5 or so bars, we did this on our 2nd night and it was great as we really got to know or way around the clubs without getting lost and found out about the different types of clubs from the reps.
another highlight of the hotel for me was the spa, i had a package which was around 100 lira ( 50 pound), which inluded a turkish bath, a mud bath, a facial and a full body massage, this was 4 of the best and most relaxing hours of the hoilday.
all in all id say that this hotel is suitable for anyone of any age and i cant wait to go again

We arrived back yesterday from a truly fantastic week at the Cettia Hotel in Marmaris, Turkey. After reading some of the reviews on here before we left I was far more willing to believe the good thought out positive reviews than the short negative reviews.
All I can say to anyone who has moaned about the food, entertainment or the Cettia Hotel in general is you are expecting absolute perfection and are far far too picky.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Hotel and the staff. The rooms were cleaned daily, the food was amazing (I'm totally confused as to what people expect), I've been to many hotel's and B&B's in the UK and abroad and this is among some of the best I've tasted, especially at the price.
There is an amazing choice everyday, breakfast is not as good or nice as the main meal times but there is so much choice of Rolls, fresh bread, cereals, eggs, ham, cheeses and lots more, there is always something you will like.
The main dinner's at 'Le Select' are fantastic. You normally get a choice of three main dishes which usually comprise of meats, poultry and/or fish, plus you get rice, pasta, salad's, veg and other side dishes, you can mix and match, etc. I NEVER have seconds but found myself trying everything the food was so nice. And if all the buffet style Turkish cooked food is not to your taste then the food at the other bar serves chips, hot dogs, pizza's, etc.
Plus midnight soup is a nice touch if you cannot sleep.

Apart from two short periods food is basically being served all day, so you never go hungry and drinks are on tap for all inclusive holidaymakers from 10:30am until 11pm.

The staff are amazing and extremely friendly and really cannot do enough for you. They are chatty and always have time for you. As with any place you do get the odd member of staff having a bad day and being quiet but I rarely saw this during my week and most of the staff knew me and my kids by their first names and always had time to answer questions, etc.

The entertainment is limited with regards to music, etc but to be honest it's not a problem. The entertainment staff do go out of their way to keep you entertained and enjoy having a laugh with everyone, they are particularly great with kids. My two are a little old for the kids club but did make lots of friends and most of the entertainment staff knew their names by the end of our stay.

The Hotel itself is extremely nice and clean, it looks very nice and posh but is also relaxed. And despite the hot weather the reception areas and bars are cool.

My only slight grumbles are there are no tea/coffee facilities in rooms, although to be honest this is nothing to moan about considering you can get as much as you want downstairs from 7:30am until midnight.
And the fridges and air con in rooms could be a little colder, but then it was exceptionally hot last week (38-40 degrees).

Overall I was delighted with the Cettia Hotel, my parents who came with us go on holiday 3 or 4 times a year and have stayed all over the World at various hotel's and B&B's and they said it is certainly in the top 3 Hotel's they have stayed in.

I would recommend the Cettia Hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Marmaris. The staff really do go out of their way to help you out in any way and make you feel welcome. The food is fantastic, and the pool and entertainment although sometimes a little busy is also enough to keep you entertained for a week.

Just returned from the apartments after a 2 week stay. I visited the Cettia last year and will do so again next year due to the excellent hardworking staff who make it an enjoyable time.

They work long hours for very little, but always have a smile on their faces and cant do enough for you. Cheers to Emin and Hudo for taking us clubbing, and to Tom for the 70 Lira i won at Bingo ha ha!! Met some lovely people especially the couple from Halesowen with the 2 young boys.
