I recently stayed at the abacus green hotel and I have to say I will not be going there again. The food was absolutely discusting it was very cold and most of the time even the waiters didn't know what it was.
They closed the dining room between half hour to an hour before it was meant to so if you didn't get in quick you were not fed at all.
The hotel was cleaned every day. The waiters friendly! They had a tattoo parlour in the hotel which I found a bit weird.
There was no entertainment apart from one night and we had to pay for that! The last few days we ate out and it was lovely so I would go self catering next time!

The Hotel at best was between 2 and 3 star.
The rooms were equipped with a full size fridge and 2 three quarter size beds. No complaints regards the toilet or washing facilities apart from the fact that there was no stopper for the bath, but the room was cleaned every day to a reasonable standard.
The dining room was small, when we were there the Hotel was not full but they still had difficulty seating everyone it only seated about 50 so what happened when it was full gawd only knows they kept running out of main courses if a course proved popular it did not last long and there was never enough to go round. To be fair the meals were whilst not outstanding were adequate and our party had no problems getting served at the bar. We were AI.
The staff our party all agreed were very good and always did there best to help. One of our party was disabled but this proved not to be a problem a reasonable hotel for a 2/3 star status.
