I was really not looking forward to my stay in this hotel because of the reviews I had read. This hotel is really not as bad as people make out. Yes the food was repetitive but you get what you pay for, the four star as advertised is not the same as UK hotels. We found the staff were nice and quite helpful when needed, if there is any difficulties contact your Rep. The negatives are in school holidays the hotel is packed to capacity making it difficult to get a sunbed. Many were getting up at 5am (or earlier) to put towels on the sunbeds even though there are rules not to do this. Location of this hotel is great away from any noise as it is on the back street but well in reach of the beach or other bars/shops etc. Rooms were basic but the cleaners worked everyday and were very nice. The staff were always cleaning the pool and I did not see or speak to anyone who had been poorly. I have heard that this hotel is having a refurbishment this year but not sure how true this is. Last negative is that my family were fed up of holidaymakers continually moaning about the hotel which after 2 weeks came become very boring and spoil your holiday but we did not let this happen to us. Hotel entertainers were a good laugh and never picked on anyone who did not want to join in. We attended a couple of the nights entertainment but found it did not appeal to us so we went outside the hotel. Again not enough seating for the capacity of the hotel. Unfortunately we will not return to this hotel

My family and I stayed at Pineta Club Hotel for 2 weeks. On arrival, the hotel was disgusting. We were allocated rooms of a inhabitable standard. Animals would not be expected to live in these conditions. We then complained and it took us a while to be allocated new rooms. These rooms were of a much better standard. The maids of this hotel sat on the stairs smoking and texting instead of cleaning. When they did clean the rooms smelled worse after they left than before they went in. The personal hygiene was disgusting as there was none. The staff were rude and the hotel was filthy and overpriced. The food was bearable. SHUT IT DOWN!!!

me and my friend have just arrived back from 2 weeks of staying at hotel pineta, before i start i would just like to say although some of these reviews may seem harsh listen and read them carefuly becuase many of them are very true!
when we booked the hotel it looked amazing being that we are two 18 year old girls the discription went very well with what we wanted lots of night life unlimited drinks etc did we get any of that erm no! we arrived at the hotel at 03:30 am and checked in the staff seemed friendly enough at first we had a sweet turksih man take our cases up to our rooms, the room we got was disgusting! the plug holes were hanging out the walls there was mould on the wall and the bed sheets smelt funny which me and my freind found so off putting we didnt sleep that night! we decided after talking to other families to stick to our room as it didnt sound as bad as some of the others where thier air con had broke or thier beds had broken so on but i will say that one of our extra beds was taken out of the room where it then showed a huge hole in the floor which is very offputting to look at when youve payed to stay somewhere!
moving onto the food well what can i say it is DISGUSTING! some people may think im being really mean when i say that but the food is constantly the same chicken, hot dog sausages which they re-use everyday the vegetables are freezing cold and rotten and the salad selection is nice but again you can tell it has been re-used, there is a selection of rice and pastas which was usually hard and gave me a consatnt stomach ache as if it had been re-heated it put me off so much that for the 2 weeks we stayed there i ate 4 small bowls of veg which was revoltingly cold and my freind lived on sausage and mash as thats all thst appealed to her we both had major stmoach ache for a week we were there! lunch and dinner is the same foods and brekfast is usally okay i usally filled myself up at breakfast so that i didnt have to eat anything else thats how bad it was breakfast had a selection of breads, eggs scrambled, fried, omlettes etc and you can also get salads, cheese and a small selection of cereal is offered! the drinks for all inclusive were terrible if you wanted a cold drink it was usally warm and got given to you in either a plastic cup only big enough to satisfy a 2 year old or it was given to you in a cup that smelt really bad and clealry hadnt been washed it really put me off that i lived on the water machine and nescafe coffee machines! the alcohol selection is rubbish considering it all inclusive beer, vodka and raki and the staff within the bar section are so rude! the entertaintment staff are lovely there they would consatnyl being trying to get people up and dancing and invovling them in pool games so on but people were so horrified at the state of the hotel that people just lost interest i know we certainly did! the men at the hotel were terrible we got herassed so much by the turkish men whilst we were there having one man in particualr ring our hotel room at 3 am and trying to kick the door down to get in im sorry but that it just so unacceptable when you have payed to stay somewhere and your constantly being herassed! when we compalined the staff didnt say much which mademe angry as this could of been quite serious!
the entertainment was really poor there is nothing fro teenagers for a good part of the night they play nursery songs and other things for the kids which im not being funny we didnt want to listen to! the nightlife in marmaris its self is amazing id reccomend bar street high end club! its awsome but the drinks are very very expensive so watch out! also icmeler bech was gorgous! you can get an orange bus for 2 lira 50 and the beach costs that too!
there are many more things i could say on this hotel on a negative note but i wont the only good thing about it is the freindly entertainment staff and the main pool is very nice but i didnt pay 589 pounds to go for the pool!
if you are considering going to this hotel please think carefuly it really is quite bad! there are many cheap hotels in marmaris that i know are very nice being that this was my 3rd time there! please re-consider if you have booked this! it should be a 4 star dog kennel!

We arrived at the hotel on 6th june 2009 at 7pm, we went straight to our room, en route we had to pass through the hotel complex. The reception area was quite nice, modern and clean. as we walked past the first swimming pool it became obvious how old, dated and badly maintained the hotel was. Tiles around the pool were cracked, broken or completely missing in several places which left sharp edges to cut your feet on whilst walking around. The drains around the pool edge were also broken and left open in several places and during our stay a young boy actually got his foot stuck in one!

We then walked on and into the block where our apartment was, as we walked through the door to our right was an electrical cupboard which was left open and accessible to anyone (including children) which i thought was quite dangerous. many of the lights in the corridors were not working which left them very dark.

The room itself was disgusting. in the bathroom, the shower rail was hanging off, the mirror light was falling off the wall, the ceiling was falling down! the shower curtain was mouldy and around the bottom of the door frame was thick with grime. In the bedroom the furniture was broken and very dated and for the next 3 days our bed linen wasnt changed and was left folded at the end of the bed (so we had to make it every night before we went to sleep!) we eventually got our room changed to an upgrade in block c overlooking the swimming pool, in this room the bathroom was slightly better but furniture was worse, at least they made the bed for us! The fresh towels we got often had blood stains on them as well, and the air conditioning hardly worked!

The food in the hotel was an absolute joke. chicken chicken chicken, all of which was disgusting. The same food was served for breakfast, lunch and dinner and you would often see it the following day as well disguised as something else! Also, going by the general cleanliness of the hotel i was hesitant to eat anything from the canteen anyway! This caused us to eat out most nights defeating the object of paying extra for all inclusive and a 4 star hotel!

The drinks available were very limited, cheap vodka, raki, gin, beer and soft drinks which were served in often dirty glasses and by rude staff!

All in all a very very bad hotel and i would strongly urge anyone who has booked it not to go and move hotels before you get there, especially for a four star... 1 star is more like it! i have never seen anything like it in my life.

We arrived at 5am and as we were checking in i left my suitcase just behind me and one of the staff took it to another room, then when i asked him where it had gone he just looked at me as if i was stupid and didnt know where it had gone, nor bother trying to find it!
As it was a cheap(ish) holiday for just us 3 girls we werent expecting anything amazing however the room was disgusting! the furniture and wardrobes were old and faling apart, plug sockets hanging off the wall, toilet was DISGUSTING, hadnt even been cleaned from the people before, stained towels, shower broken (didnt even hang on the wall!!) and our view was an office full of men so we had to close the curtains for about 99% of the time we were in there!. The walls are paper thin, our room wasnt cleaned until 5ish in the evening if the cleaners even bothered to clean it! the food was barely edible! we lived on pasta for a week! the selection of drinks was rubbish considering it was all inclusive! you had to buy water and we went out every night anyway because the entertainment was average at best.
Our toilet broke TWICE and we had to nag all day for them to fix it and the staff are extreamly miserable and rude. They look as if its your fault and just dont even care!
I loved Marmaris and the location of the hotel is pretty good! its within walking distance to the bars but the hotel itself i wouldnt even let my dogs sleep in!
On a more positive note the pools are really nice and there is DJ playing music all day so its quite nice but you cant really stay in a hotel for the pool! Especially after paying

What a dump, read all the reviews before we went, contacted Thomas Cook and told them of my worries and they ensured that it would be OK. I am now consulting them for a refund. We stayed in C block overlooking waste ground which looked like a dumping ground.

The room was not even a 1 star let alone 4 as advertised, the only good thing about the room was it was quiet.

The drink was terrible, beer, vodka, gin and raki, really a poor selection for all inclusive. The food was so bad you couldnt eat it. Chicken, chicken, chicken, turkey and did I mention chicken,we ate out all the time, so much for all inclusive.

Anyone going to Marmaris for a cheap holiday think again,it is very expensive there now and the Russians are taking the place over, Club Pineta is full of them.

The grass area behind the swimming pools is quite nice though apart from the booming music. The hotel is carpeted throughout every corridor and I think that is a big mistake as they are filthy and no matter how much you clean them they will always look dirty.

I saw children dropping crisps and drinks all over the carpets and just treading them in. Parents didnt seem to care and just let them run riot. I dont know why they were not at school !!!!!

Finally the last day we asked for a courtesy room and were given one in the main hotel block, well you have never seen anything like it, made our room look like a palace, if we had that room from the start I would have asked to be moved, air con held together with tape, wardrobe doors hanging off, a real dive of a room and I sympathise with anyone who had a week or two in there.

Take heed you have been warned !!!!

The hotel was always clean with staff working so hard to keep it that way, all the staff were very friendly and saw to our every need from reception through chambermaids to the restaurant and entertainment crew. The food was as we expected from a hotel catering for so many and so frequently, great salads and soups especially and chips every afternoon at snack time no one could go hungry. We had two teenagers and two young children with us so the pools and kids facilities were a necessity, our teenageers loved the entertainment crew but I still refuse to play Bingo. Favourite thing to do have a turkish bath. Well done Pineta Club.
