visited the sayar 4 years ago, it has gone downhill bigtime. the people who owned it have gone and the present management lease the place from the owner, they do not seem to know what they are doing, they use water from the pool for cleaning and do it any time of day even when people are using the pool or eating or at the bar, the floors are sloshed with water and that seems to be it. the bed sheets are stained and dirty the bathrooms are filthy with no plugs in sinks showers falling down, and only rarely any warm water (never any hot).the staff never smile.this complex has so much going for it but has been let slide,it needs a lot of money spending on it, but it dosent seem as it is going to get it, i would never go there again, even if it was free!

This hotel is awesome i have been in Turkey twice before and have stayed in sayar and will be going back next year.The staff are really nice and would allways speak to you.It has a lovly pool not too big or not too small.they have alot of sunbeds so you'll get one.they have a little shop,2 computers and a game room which includes 2 pool tables and 4 playstations that have a choice of game.it is not so great on the entertainment but they would allways have party dances.It is a great hotel and if your going to marimus anytime soon i recimend staying in it.its great for everyone and is in a great spot.

just arrived home 2 days ago, thought hotel was very shabby and in desperate need of decorating.rooms where as basic as could be no toaster thought this very strange as we went self catering. cups badly chipped etc...ended up going out and buying my own ones .staff on the other hand were really lovely especially sunny he was very attentive and friendly. the food was gorgeous we went for the meal deal really good value, and the barbeque night was fun and fresh and tasty.hotel was a bit out of the way but suited us , supermarket close by also lots of shops and restaurants.overall hotel needs decorated thats about all the down side every thing else was great also the pool was large the only thing i did notice was as i am a very bad sleeper that people were coming down and putting there towels down at 4 in the morning!!!!! and we talk about the germans doing it i can honestly say we are worse by half 6 in morning not one bed left around the pool so be prepared for lying away from pool area. enjoyed our stay there maids came most days fresh towels etc...yes i would return to this hotel.

Our stay at the Sayar didn't get off to the best of starts. We were not made welcome at all. We arrived after travelling through the night only to be told our room wasn't ready and to wait half an hour which we did. We went back to reception only to be told to wait another half hour which we didn't stand for. After eventually getting in to the room we found it a big disapointment especially for the money we paid. There were dead beasts lying on the floor, a blood stain on the bottom of the toilet, single beds and we only got clean towels once during our stay. To top it off the cleaners had a cheek to leave a tip box in our room. The receptionist tried to get us to check out the day before we left. Because they had the wrong dates for our stay. This got my partner very upset. Most of the staff were friendly and the food was ok. But there is no way i would go back to this accomodation and i would not recommend it to anyone.

The Sayar apartments were very nice and our apartment was very clean, the maids came in everyday and handed us fresh towels everyday but the sheets never got change in the two weeks we stayed there.
The view from the balconly was really nice, the hotel staff were very nice and friendly and made the holiday really good, espeicaly freddie and yass!
The entertainment wasn't that good at the apartment sometimes the shows only last 10 minutes then it would be over and eveything would go quiet at 12 and go dead.
The food was really good and tasty no problem there.
I wouldn't go to this apartment again because i would like better entertainment at the hotel.
But it was a really nice apartment.

We had a fantastic holiday and the hotel make it 5x better. We met lovely people(including the staff). Although, the cleaners were a bit cheeky. One came into our room with a cigarette hanging out of her motuh asking if she can change our beds, which she didn't even do properly, and she left a note on the bed saying "Tips please :)". She didn't deserve a tip. But it was still a good holiday. The pool was clean even though it was an outdoor. The computers came in use to us.

Me & my mum went to turkey on the 8th of june 09 we was ther for 2 weeks, when we arrived at the apartments everyone made you feel really welcome and all the staff were very friendly.. i have seen some reviews stating that they try to make you buy things and that they block of the main entrance so that you have to walk through past the restraunt whic is rubbish as when i was ther they never once made us buy anything we didnt want to and the main entrance was open all the time. the pool was very clean and a good size.. ther are loads of restraunts nearby and also the beach is around a 10-15 minute walk. i was really sad to leave the sayar apartments and will definatly be returning as the staff and everyone make your holiday one to remember

this being my 6Th time in turkey i felt the sayar apts where not as good as the the other hotels i have stayed at . the rooms where clean and the maids called everyday ,bedding was changed but i felt towels should have been changed more often .no table or chairs for the balcony just did not make sense to me . staff was very helpfull
no hot water first 3 days but was fixed for rest of holiday and only hot water at night .hotel dog barked day and night. as did the dogs who stared around the hotel.hotel a good 20min walk to the beach and in nice area if you want away from the noise at night as the bars around the area music stop on midnight . most hotel in turkey are basic and the sayar is that if you want somewhere to sleep and shower in a clean hotel with a nice pool its fine as there are a lot worse hotels in mamaris than the sayar

Not the best hotel we have stayed in but exactly what I expected for what I paid. The room was basic, the cleaners came in most days made beds and gave us fesh towels I think the sheets only got changed a couple of times (in 2 weeks) we didn't have any problems with the hot water in the shower just the water that came out of the airconditioning unit which soaked the balcony floor!
The main pool was a nice size but the childrens pool was very small!! our 2 youngest chilren (aged 4 and 5) got so bored in the little pool that they ended up going in the big pool which turned out to be a good thing as they learn't to swim (with armbands)!
All the staff were nice although the one with the long hair could be annoying!!!
The beach is quite a long walk especialy with little ones but you can get a dolumus which is cheap.
There are plenty of restaurants in the area but they do all have the same menu! the people are very friendly though and great with the kids.
All in all we had a good holiday and if we were on a budget again we would return.

The Sayar apartments mamaris well what can i say it was very basic we had to ask for a kettle, the room was terrible no shower screen or furniture. The staff tried every trick in the book to get money from you e.g selling trips at higher prices also they blocked the main doors to make you walk passed there resturant we stayed there the turkish night it was terrible and a waste of money they also tried to charge me for drinks i had not had, the pool was too deep for some of the kids there.I would not stay at this hotel again ever
