When I visited this place I may have seen a small glimpse of what others have seen, but I loved the place, I met a lot of good friends that year, room was fine...nothing spectacular, but you get what you pay for, you want fancy pay a fortune!
Small shop across the road tht changes ure money and the bakery at the end of the street, 2p for a loaf of still warm amazing bread. Staff at the hotel were Ace! All made you feel very welcome and were very friendly!
There was a turkish delight factory just up the road too! it was truly amazing.
Telephone boxes to call home for cheap and a Internet cafe exactly opposite the place! The Darm Blue Dolmus passed every couple of minutes which took 10 mins max to get to tht Big Tansas supermarket which was right in the centre of town!
Overall I'll think you'll find I really liked this place 5* Holiday!!

Just returned from the Villa Sol apartments in the Armultalan region of Marmaris. We went self catering but ate in the Villa Sol restaurant nearly every night.
The food was brilliant and really reasonable - Hassan the head chef even let us see the kitchens and they were spotless. All the hotel staff especially Ben & Irina the receptionist were really helpful they sorted any issues you had immediately.
The Villa Sol is great for all travellers,the rooms were pretty basic - but clean, maid service 4 times a week.Right outside you could get the blue number 2 dolmus for 40p and it took you right into the centre of marmaris, stopping outside a large supermarket which was great when you shopped, you jumped back on and arrived back outside the Apartments.
This was our first time in Turkey and we had heard mixed reports about the resort, travel company and the accomodation. Im so glad we didn't take much heed as they were unfounded.
We are looking forward to travelling to the Villa Sol later in the year and would recommend anyone whos looking a cheap but fantastic holiday to do the same!!!

The Villa Sol was in the Armutalan area of Marmaris about 5 minutes from the town by dolmus. There was plenty of shops, bars and restuarants close by.
Our apartment was very spacious and was cleaned every day. The staff in the complex were absolutely brilliant and attended to the needs of the guests above and beyond the call of duty. Nothing was outwith their capabilities. They just couldn't do enough for you, and all with beaming smiles!
The nightly entertainment was varied e.g Turkish nights with belly dancers, music and dancing and of course the Turkish food. Other nights we had break dancers, snake charmers and the staff put on their own show every night it was highly entertaining (catch Engin doing the full monty!) it was great fun.
The food at this establishment was second to none with an a la carte menu and a set menu all at reasonable prices.
we are certainly going back next year if it is not fully booked yet. Thanks to everyone at the Villa Sol for making this a holiday to remember. from Fatima, Aysha and Ferouzi x x x

My wife and I have just got back from the Villa Sol and I must say it was great.
The food was excellent and the entertainment from the staff was second to none.
The rooms were bigger than I thought they would be which was good and they were cleaned every day. And the staff were all great fun.
We enjoyed it so much we are thinking about going back in September and I would recommend anyone to this place.

Hotel was ok basic but clean.

Had a great time there staff very freindly couldn't do enough for us. We were put in rooms down at basement when we had orderd two one bedroom apts and didnt get moved for 3 days which put a dampner on hols.
Apart from that staff great especially Engin, Kerim.
Place was clean and would go back if ever in turkey again bus service in to town was seconed to none, food was ok.

We stayed at the Villa Sol in May we had a ball the staff were great.
Hotel fine the only thing did not like was that they had carpet in the room. But the maid was in every day
Food was excellent [thanks Hassan]
Staff was so good with the kids and their entertainment. Thanks Ben, Engin, Simion and the rest.

I would never advise anyone to go to this accommodation.We arrived at 6.30am and there wasn't even a light in the hallway to see your room number. The receptionist took us into the basement where our room was, it was like a prison cell.
When I opened the veranda door, there was a dead mouse waiting to greet me (how nice!). The pool was filthy and covered in green scum, it was so slippery at the pool area you could have broke your neck.
I got in touch with the rep straight away and by 11am we were moved to the Art Apartments round the corner. What a relief.
These apartments were fantastic, so clean. The staff were brilliant, so helpful and always making sure we were o.k. I would highly recommend this place. A big thank you to all the staff, Sandy, Oz, Commy, Lofty, Halim, Erkhan and especially Robbie who was great entertainment.
GOLDTRAIL was a joke and we would never travel with them again.

I went with my Husband, son(17) and his pal (18) we all had a great time. The apartment was basic but very clean, the sheets were changed 5 times in the 2 weeks we were there and the cleaner was always changing the towels. The hotel staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for everyone.
We ate there sometimes and the food was always good.
Would definitely go back there and hope i can book for next year.
