Showed to our room at 7.00 am along a pitch dark corridor.
Door was opened to this filthy room with manky dirty brown carpet and settees covered with loose covers.
The bathroom and shower were disgusting and a complete health and safety hazard. The whole week we were there we never took our flip flops off to either walk on the carpet or in the bathroom.
There was like a camping stove with two solid rings and a kettle. These apartments are absolutely disgusting and should be condemned.

We arrived at our apartments (Villa Sol) at 8am. As we came off the bus, the staff took our bags to our room as we checked in, which was very helpful.
The staff were excellent. You could not have asked for better. They really made us feel so welcome from the day we arrived until the day we left.
The entertainment was superb as well. Due to the entertainment around Villa Sol we hardly left our apartments. It was fantastic.
I cannot wait to visit Turkey again next year and I would definitely go back to the Villa Sol apartments - they were brilliant.
Special thanks to all the staff, (Philip(georgeous), Ash, Tim, Simon, Metee, Tolag and the rest of the gang.
Thank you and see you all hopefully next year.

We were there for two weeks and what a holiday we had.
The staff were great the hotel was lovely and clean. The atmosphere was brilliant. We enjoyed the food.
Everybody in there were helpfull, went out of their way to help you any way they could.
Would go back in a minute.

On arrival was extremely disapointed. had booked two appartments, one was on ground floor which my teenage daughters occupied, the other was on 1st floor.
Ground floor appart was fine, basic with tiled floor but clean. I could have cried when I saw my appart. The smell was disgusting which I put down to the extremely dirty carpeted floors.
On request they changed us to ground floor which made all the difference. Have to say at first the holiday was really good.
Hotel staff appeared really helpful and friendly, but with two teenage daughters, I realised that some of the male staff was taking their duties a little bit to far.
One member of staff imparticular took advantage of the young girls who had stayed at the hotel. He was every parents worst nightmare, to young girls he appears just wonderful and before long he has them totally infacuated playing up to their parents to gain their trust. But beware, as we were their a fortnight he soon got bored with one then moved on to the other quite openly and smirkingly. So for the second week I had to cope with a teenage girls broken heart as she watched on as he began to have fun with someone elses daughter while charming her parents.
I know that holidays are all about fun and holiday romances, But not with the staff as they are being paid to assist us on holiday not to take advantage of vunerable young teenagers.
I think what really got to me was how charming he actually comes across to start with. Im really disappointed that the management of this hotel can let this behaviour go on. I notice from reviews that I have read that they are mostly young girls - amazing.

We travelled to Turkey and stayed in Villa Sol on the 4th July 2006!
It was the best place id ever been to! The hotel staff just couldnt do enough for you. Always getting you drinks and they were excellent entertainment!
The rooms were very basic but clean. the only problem is you only get a fridge and 2 cooking rings. No toaster or grill so you can't make toast, although it was very cheap to eat in the hotel itself.

I had an enjoyable holiday at the Villa Sol Apart. The rooms were small and basic but were cleaned every day. The beds were changed roughly every second day and we received clean towels every day. The kitchen was adequate to make a small snack but nothing more.
The staff were nice and went out of their way to help you. However be warned although all the young waiters are nice there was 3 incedents of them trying to take advantage of young adults late at night. The women were upset by it. One of the men got sacked and the otheris still there.
Also do not rely on the receptionist on opening your door late at night as I was unfortunatly locked out of my room one night by doing this. On a happier note the not perverted staff are lovely-especially Tamal Mustafa Mohammed and Phillip.
The entertainment was good it varied from male belly dancers to a fire eating show(remarkably done by JJ a waiter).
The location is ok- about 15 mins in the bus outside of marmaris but the hotel is near the bus stop which is handy.
Overall I would return bue I do warn all young women to be wary of some of the staff.

We went self catering and ended up eating at the restuarant in this apartment a lot as the food was great.
Maid was in every single day giving us clean towels and beds were changed once in the week we were there which i was happy with.
Great location not in centre of night life. Staff couldnt do enough for you they were so nice I miss them already.
Entertainment was brill provided by the waiters they put on a great show every night. Cant wait to go back.

I miss it already! Everything about this place is fantastic! And I would definetly go back. I cryed all the way home as I did not want to leave! And I am going back in September which I cannot wait for! All waiters were fabulous esp. Mess and Philip!
Rooms were very basic but were cleaned every single day and food was really good. Loved the bakery next door. I am counting the days until I go back and I recommend Villa sol to every one !!!!!

We had a few reservations about what to expect,but were very pleased with the Villa Sol.
We were self catering but dined in the hotel restaurant on several occasions, where the food was excellent,a full english breakfast was only 5YTL/

One bedroom apts very nice over looking gardens, with nice big balconies, studios are in the basement not very nice when on the balcony you have a high wall in front of you with no view what so ever.
Food couldnt fault it, clean towels every day and beds made, staff excellent Tim gang.
Location fairly quite but not far to travel into marmaris, dolmus stops right outside of apts, entertainment could have been a bit better on the night time, swimming pool is not to big but big enough to have a dip in when to hot.
Also outside shower and toilets, small sunbathing area round pool, but plenty of space on the garden, all in all a brilliant holiday, just check your not in the studios when you book an one bed apt.
