On arrival we thought it was nice until we met the so called manager, he inisisted we ate at his hotel as he was good enough to let us stay there!!! Whats that all about?
We tried their food and it was cold and disgusting and expensive. We decided not to eat there again, not as easy as that, because there is only one way out through the bar/resturant as soon as they see you they all gather round you like vultures to take a seat and eat there food.
After a few days of torture they finally got the hint and thats when they start being ingorant not speaking to you if you ask for something they won't do it.
Our room never got cleaned no matter how many times we asked the maid for clean towels we never got them! The place is a complete dump, rooms basic not very clean at all. Carpets where almost walking on there own!!
Seriously don't go there all these people posting good reports I can guarntee they ate there everyday and drank plenty at night thats why they were best of friends with them, I would urge people not to go ther the place should be shut down.
There is only 1 person I wouldn't run down and thats Rossi bless he does his best and after all its the so called bosses fault so if you have planned to go here please change ASAP!!! Unless you want to be bound to you hotel the whole holiday because when you go out thats when they turn on you.

Excellent!! Not a complaint what so ever.
Food, Staff (cough haha) and entertainment was awesome. You staff couldn't have made it any better, Judy for being our adopted mum, Surgi for your kindness, Simon, well, just being you! Ash for your cocktails and DJ'ing, Philip for your dancing(What a mover) Feremez for lending me your hat :D, Rossi for the rubbish you talk and Jurkhan-EXCUSE ME haha.
Clean rooms on arrival, good basic facilities, lovely pool/bar/restaurant area.
Will definately be back, all will be sorely missed, good work team! :D xXx

What a brilliant holiday! Don't believe any other comments from miserable people - this holiday was greeat for people who enjoyed a laugh and having fun around the pool and with the staff. Judy and Feremez and all the staff were excellent and were happy to help us out in any way they could. Never felt as welocme as we did there. The only thing that spoilt the holiday in any way was the other miserable and trouble making guests who wanted to complain and cause trouble for the owners and the staff there - some people really need to lighten up and remember they are on holiday!
Food and drink great value and rooms were cleaned everyday - maids were lovely. Pool area great and clean too.
Big mention to the staff - Rossi, Ash, Phillip, Simon, Sergi and the others for making our stay excellent.
Please don't listen to any negative reviews - we've just left and would go back now - go and visit yourselves - you'll have a great time!

Have just returned from villa sol apartments,and had a brilliant holiday.
We were apprehensive about turkey as this was our first visit but we were made most welcome by everyone here.
the apartments were cleaned every day and the bedding and towels changed regularly.
The pool was lovely and clean, as was the pool area and restaurant.
Feremez and judith have only taken the villa sol over this year, but are doing an excellent job, as are their staff.
These apartments are in armutalan, just outside marmaris, so please do not confuse them with the villa sol hotel in marmaris, which seems to be getting bad reviews. We can't wait to go again.

Absolutely fantastic holiday, I only went for one week and have just returned back but already looking to book again if not in September next year.
The apartments are clean with a maid service everyday, the food is fantastic and very reasonably priced, the pool area is very clean and the staff are brillant, (and trust worthy - I lost my purse one night and it was returned to me the following morning with everything intact), the staff will do whatever they can to make your holiday enjoyable. Fred, Rossi, Surgi, Simon, Judy, Philip and the others cant wait to see you all again, I gutted I couldn't get that later flight back home! But will see you all again soon.

Well, what can i say. Just returned from the Villa Sol Apartments in armutalan on tuesday night and missing the place already. The staff really are what make this place. Dont be expecting the ritz cause you will be sorely dissapointed. The hotel itself is self catering (2 ring hot plate, fridge, kettle). There are lots of shops near by to buy groceries if you want to. We cooked 1 night and made a mess of it so descided to just eat out. The hotel has its own restaurant by the pool which serves very good food and a 24 hour bar(shhh dont tell the polis). The bus into marmaris costs 1YTL (Lira is the currency) which is about 40p, takes about 10 mins and stops right at the front door. When you enter the country you have to pay the airport

took my neice to turkey for her 16th birthday, and i was a little apprehensive as ive never been to turkey, but after our two week stay at the villa sol appartments i have to say um quite smitten with turkey, have been going to majorca for 20 yrs and im so glad i made that change...
there is a new mangement team this year. feremez and judy and the whole team are fantastic, in all my yrs on going abroad i have never came accross a friendlier
team of staff..
the food was great to, hence the half a stone i put on.. we also met fantastic people who like us were there to have a laugh and a nice holiday...
special mention to all the staff, phillip, sergie, emeri,gokan, ash , and rossi and amny more, you are all fantastic and made our holiday one to remeber...
looking forward to seeng you all next yr..
if you havent been i suggest you try, you wont bedisapointed..

The place is nothing like the very very old photos in the mags and on the web sites. In the UK it wouldn't rate a one star. It's absolutely filthy, the rooms and fixtures and fittings are shabby and broken and the electrics border on the downright dangerous. Nothing about the place is appealing.
Goldtrail were not interested in dealing with our complaints in resort, just in taking our money. They are a disgrace and I'm in the process of taking them to court for a full refund. My advice is to stay clear of Goldtrail and villa sol apts.

The apartments were very clean, basic but had everything needed. Bedding clean and bins and apartment tidyed everyday!
The food was bit too british more turkish food!!!! The hotel was in an alright position with places to eat,supermarkets and shops, you could stop the bus from right outside to get to main part of Marmaris.
The hotel staff were FANTASTIC having a 5 month old baby I did worry before hand but as soon as we arrived they carried all our bags to our room brilliant after travelling for so long with a young baby!! My son was a hit with all staff. ALL staff made you feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble!!!Ash, Phillip, simon and Rossi were fab

the hotel was nice and clean with cleaners in daily. the food was very nice and the hospitality was excellent. the location of the hotel is brilliant not too busy but close to nightlife if you want it. the staff are all great, and Ash makes the best cocktails, phillip is the best dancer the rest are fantastic. entertainment is great, and im deffinatley comming back!!
