booked self catering at villa sun no chance. cleanliness didnt see any other rooms but mine hadnt been cleaned from the last guests,location was definately not a short walk more like a 10 minute taxi, hotel staff like everywhere some good some really bad, the entertainment was much to be desired would never go to villa sun again.

although the season hadnt started i stayed here despite reading some negative reports and all i can say is the room was spotless.plenty of room,bed very comfortable .the rooms were cleaned every day.the staff were lovely especially ghengis on reception (a true gentleman)i only ate in the restaurant on a few occassions and as an ex chef i can honestly say the food was wonderful.the beach was a 20min walk away but i enjoyed the walk.nothing was to much trouble for the staff.there was no entertainment but ,...that was due to the season not started.i am not a fussy person but i do expect value for money and on very few occassions would i recommend hotels.however,i make an exception here.i will be staying there again and would recommend these apartments to anyone.brilliant

on arrival luggage was taken to apartment for us. apartment was clean and kitchen had everything we needed not that we used it. bar was great sadat always had a pepsi for me . murat and baz very entertaining very funny always friendly ,we could have what we want and never asked to pay bill we payed when we wanted. ozzy the chef great cook enjoyed everything he cooked for me. especially the chicken wrap and chips we got for journey home (on the house} from baz good man is baz. murat was great loves them all will be going back next year for 3 weeks in may. see you all next year lads xxx

I have just arrived home after 1 month in this apartment,and the attitude of the staff in this hotel are disgusting.
The staff harrased me for eating and drinking out of the apartments.I told them I did not want to go to Turkish night, as Micheal Jackson, and Brake dancing did nothing for me.Next morning I was told by Muscat that the staff would ignore me, and do nothing for me.I had 3 weeks to go , and I was sent to coventry my remaining holiday. I sat on the loungers around the pool to read my books, baz shouted at me, that if I wanted to use the loungers, I had to purchase food and drinks, which I had done,all I got was abuse. When I sat with other guests , Muscat would come and sit with us, listening to what we were saying, then running back to Baz to tell lies, and he then asked the guests what I had said to them. I was on my own, so they thought I would be intimidated. It was like being in a consentration camp.
I would never go to this hotel again, also not recommend it. It had been there 3 weeks before I got my sheets changed, I kept asking for them. I think it was done to spite me.

The hotel was great!
The bar and pool was also Great!
Rooms got cleaned alot whilst I was there & we got on with the cleaner. she was very nice.
Hotel staff were lovely and welcoming.
Our toilet wouldn't flush twice throughout the holiday but
got fixed as soon as, which was good.
Bar open basically 24 hours.
Pool very clean. Slide goes on in the afternoon, which is alot of fun.
It was a holiday of one 18 year old & two 17 year olds. and we had an amazing time! Met great people at the hotel too.
Would defo go back there if I could I'd go back NOW
The only thing we missed in our apartment was the kettle, we had pot noodles to make too so we had to boil water but it didn't really bother us. And our room was at the back so it was very shady during the day which was good. But we did want a pool view.. but it was only somewhere to sleep so we didn't really care.
People say the food and drink are expensive in the apartments. & I can tell you it wasn't that bad at all!! it was the same price as anywhere else really.
and us 3 teenagers were on a tight budget and we managed! & people also are saying BAZ the hotel manager does stuff if you don't buy stuff in his bar, he doesn't he's really friendly actually.

We arrived on 27th August and having read some of the reviews, we were a tad wary! However the manager and staff descended on the transfer bus and took charge of all cases and baggage, direct to our rooms. Whilst booking in we asked about the air conditioning which we knew had to be paid locally. The charge was

Staff was very pleasent. the food was good at hotel. Made us feel welcome. we will definately consider going there again. The room was what is expected in a self catering apart/hotel. all round good holiday.

just got back and we all had fab time ! baz and staff all went out of way to accomadate us on arrival making us feel welcome!!
food was delicious from resturaunt and drink was reasnonable! special credit to cleaners and bar staff morat in particular who made us feel part of family !! fab holiday fab memories and baz the manager a big thank you will see you next year !!! or may be before .. again thank you u welsh friends xxx

The accommodation was excellent value for the price paid, clean, comfortable and adequately resourced.
We ate in the resturaunt many times and enjoyed all meals (particularly the super breakfast)The location was good, slightly back from the hustle but within reach of plenty of bars. There is a short walk to the beach but this is all on flat ground so easy. My parents who are elderly managed it daily.
The staff were all fantastic and made us all feel very relaxed and at home. The manager Baz was a lovely guy who made time for each and every guest, often joining them for drinks in the evening. The reception staff were excellent and so were the hardworking bar and resuraunt staff who went out of their way to please you.
We would definately go back to Villa Sun and stronly reccommend this resort to others.

where do we begin !
if you want a self catering holiday with freedom of choice do not go to the villa sun. We had a warm and friendly welcome and a good first week but when it got to the second week we were ignored by staff for not eating in the resturant. told we could not buy water but something more expensive. if we did nit the waiter would not get payed. A member of staff of the hotel then ignored us because my niece would not sleep with him. he chased any single female that moved.
cleaner and girl on reception only nice people there. waiter took our sunbeds from us when we went to eat in our room at dinner time. he said said he thought we had gone to bed. but everyday we would go up and have dinner then come back down. this was our punishment for not eating there.
