Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Loved Icmeler but would check that any hotel we intend to stay in has individually controlled air con as August was very hot.Boat trips from the jetty were reasonably priced and not to be missed. We will definitely return soon.

Only ventured into the resort centre in the evening for something to eat. Plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from and plenty of shops to keep me entertained! Couldn't comment on the beach because we only saw it in the dark. Wednesday market which is massive and lively is directly behind the hotel.

The location was great, the beach was very stoney not any sand on there.

The Mitos is central to everywhere as it is situated on the canal.
We had a Turkish meal in the Kerem, which is facing the Mitos, the meal was lovely.
We also ate in the Bonjour,Venice &friends all in Icmeler. Indain meal in the Taj Mahal in Marmaris and the Rovers Return in Marmaras all lovely meals, Friends restaurant do the best Scottish & Turkish Breakfasts I have had in Turkey.
Icmeler is a lovely resort and I can't wait to get back again next year.

Also did two boat trips during our stay, both were done with the Harika boat from Marmaris once to the mud baths in Dalyan and the other was the seven bays lazy day trip (do this boat trip every year on the same boat and would highly recommend this boat as it is clean and ran by a lovely man named Mastafa.

The cleanliness of the resort was ok, however every now and again you could smell the drains. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and a few clubs. It was a 5 minute stroll into town and a 10 minute stroll to the beach. The sea was clean and clear, but the sand was very gritty. There are plenty of trips sold such as boat trips, turkish bath and safaris(Jeep/Horse/Quad) It is a 10-15 minute bus journey to the busy town of Marmaris.

No complaints about the resort it was perfect in every way,the entertainment in the evening was not the most griping but this meant you did venture out to see some night life.The beach had everything you needed and some very good water activities.

the actual town was a little walk away but it was lovely to walk down early evening by the canal. we never saw any litter on the streets, everything was very clean. the little stalls by the canal are interesting and be prepared to barter. we didnt use the beach during the day as we prefer the pool but it always looked clean. we would definately go to this resort again.
