all above .the beach is very clean , & you can get a Massage there too also each area of beach has it's own bar with waiters & waitresses , there is also a Casino in the resort .all the best Stephen Barbour

The resort is always spotlessly clean and all the bars and retaurants have live music or entertainment at night.
The beaches deserve their Blue Flag status,they are immaculate and have lifeguards on duty until about 5pm.
Golden Sands is a great resort whether you want a quiet relaxing holiday by the pool or beach or a roudy one visiting the bars and nightclubs.
We would certainly visit again.

brilliant resort plenty to keep kids of all ages occupied and it is so cheap you don't mind the kids asking mum can i have all the time. only annoying thing is people trying to get you into their restaurants but a no thank you was sufficient for them to leave you alone. beach fantastic with good range of sports and the opportuinity to have a massage. entertainment was good with something for all tastes. best ever holiday, just couldn't spend your money it was so cheap. well worth a visit.

Roads in front of hotel were washed and swept every morning and beach seemed to be clean all the time.
Lifeguards seemed to be there more than anywhere else I’ve been.
Seemed to be too many bars many were empty and we were there in factory holidays.
Watch out for electric taxis they leave lights off to save batteries on nights, also kids on scooters (8-10 yr olds) we saw people knocked over. Where were the parents?.
Also I was approached by prostitutes regularly if I got more than about 10 feet from my wife (not good on honeymoon lol)

The resort was clean and looked very stylish but only at the beach part of the resort. The further away from the resort the more of a shambles it looked. The beaches were excellent and the streets always seemed to be clean which is the only good point I can make.

The main street next to the beach was ideal, but if you ventured further back a few streets it became not suitable for famlies with young children e.g Prostitution and Playboy bars, especially late at night.
This did not spoil our impression of the Golden Sands resort.

There was a problem with the sewerage when we were there as the manhole was broken and the smell carried along the beach front. It was not fixed in the 2 weeks we were there. Entertainment is extremely limited and not very good. Kids do have parks to play in but again they could get easily bored. The beach was very clean and regularly raked. Did not see any broken glass or rubbish lying around at all. For a quieter holiday would go again but be careful of the ladies of the night and the guys trying to sell you dodgy levs.

Some great bars and restaurants in the resort if you look around, with most palettes catered for. Beer and food is cheap in resort at about 1/3 to 1/2 of our prices. Outside the resort, even within yards, prices away from the tourist spots are 1/3 of that again for local produce! Loads of cash machines and exchange places and it's worth looking around, and in Varna too, for the best rates. Great karaoke at the Muppets bar under the Hotel Perunika at the top left of the resort. As a single guy out there I ws constantly approached by prostitutes offering extremely cheap rates but they backed off Ok once they knew you were not interested. Varna is well worth a couple of visits for the Cathedral, museums and don't miss out on the Roman baths, huge area but difficult to find as they don't crow about it!
