After reading some of the reports on this hotel i thought the bad ones cant be true but to cut a long story short they were true some rooms they offered me were filthy and one family who had been there last year and said it was great just walked out and paid to stay in another hotel but because i didnt have the money to do that i stood my ground. After getting a room sorted it didnt end there my room and sheets were cleaned once a wk but i noticed every one just helping them selves to the sheets off the trollies so i joined in . Poolside not cleaned properly only with pool water . I think in my opinion people who have give this place a good report are the ones that have fell lucky with there rooms but might not next time or they are very easily pleased

Right here we go! Arrived at 5a.m. got keys for F block went down had 54 wooden plank steps to climb some of which were loose, carring our cases as only 1 member of staff to help.
Went into room it was in the eves very small and horrible reminded us of a grotty b/b in blackpool. One person had a shower the water was brown.Went to reception telling them we wanted to be moved he said come back at 2 o'clock.
I will speak with manager. We were talking to another family who said good luck they say that to everyone to fob you off.His room was getting waste from upstair toilet running down his bathroom wall.
Went back at 2o'clock with cases as we were not staying in F block no matter what.Had to pay

Arrived at the hotel at 6:00am to be taken to the dreaded F block as soon as we saw all the stairs we refused to stay in this block.Went to reception to be told to stay there till 2pm and they would see if any other rooms were available.The rooms were disguisting and nails hanging out of the shower.
In the end we got moved to E block much better rooms but shower still disguisting had to complain to get sheets and towels.
Been to Marmaris 5 times and never had a bad hotel.
Believe me this is bad and reception staff just try and fob you off no wonder Thomson and First choice have pulled out.Pools never seem to get clean and i came out in a rash.Complex does look better at night.
Staff at big fingers good but the manager decided to give cheaper drnks if he liked you he offered us buy 1 get 1 free but much cheaper outside.
If you planning to book i would think again this is a hotel from hell.
If we had been there for 2 weeks i would of demanded to be moved but we was only there for a week and that was enough.
Air con a rip off and ours leaked all over early hours in the morning and ruined our camera and manager did not care.
They wanted 38 pound for late check out and apartment only cost us 124 for 1 week.
I would not recomend this hotel to anyone so if you have booked think twice.

Arrived at 6am and the room was not ready - not a very good start.
When our room was allocated at 2pm it was lovely, clean and well kept (we were in K block)
Pool and public areas dirty and unkept.What effort was made to maintain these areas was to a minimum standard and this seemed to be a bit haphazard when any effort was put into there up keep.
Slides poorly supervised kids/teenagers would climb up them at all hours - not good when your balcony is only a few feet away you have no privacy and it became very dangerous for the children involved
Bar prices were expensive especially childrens soft drinks.The bar was open till all hours of the night and very loud. The reception staff on the whole spoke very little english and there was a general feeling that they did not care or could be bothered.

just back from portabello apts.we were in j block-not the best part of hotel.absolutely loved big fingers,the staff were very friendly.the dancing was excellent.the food was beautiful,entertainment was fantastic,the boys at big fingers made our holiday as enjoyable as it was.they were great with the children and teenagers in our group also.mamood the manager does a great job.would definately go back.

We have just came back from the portebello apartments and it was awful. When we got there we had to find our own room. The rooms were discusting with mold in the shower and the curtains had holes in them. All the staf were horribal and when we asked to move apartments to the new ones we got sworn at and told to get away. The food was discusting with raw sasuges for brecki and cold food for tea. The entertainment was ok but ther were some things that were very rude and that our children did not understand.
We would never go to this hotel again as it was awful it has nothing for childern to do and it is not very famaily friendly.

This Complex is dirty in most areas,the new blocks are the best of a BAD lot(L Block)in particular.The STAFF in the Big Fingers Bar are friendly till they get what they want,example con you into paying 25 lira to Queue for food at the dreaded Turkish Night.(BEWARE)!!!!!!!.The Belly Dancer on this night is RUDE
and demands MONEY after her shabby act(SHOCKING TO SAY THE LEAST).Speedy and Fonzy have rules for some and different rules for others with regards to eating or DRINKING at the pool(If your face doesnt fit you must buy from the pool side bar at the inflatted prices).
Air conditioning is only in the BEDROOMS and charged at 25 pounds per week per ROOM.(2 bedroom rooms are 50 pounds a week!!!!!!).I heard during my stay valuables were stolen from safe deposit boxes, so be
warned.Another few holiday makers bought fans at 13 lira as an alternative to paying for air condition.
The cleaners are loud and not very good at there job.The toilet pan was DISGUSTING and the shower basin was FILTHY, and the rooms were moped with a DIRTY MOP(THIS WAS ONLY MOPED ONCE IN 14 NIGHTS).I would NEVER go back to these APARTMENTS!!!!!NEVER.

we have returned from 2 week holiday and can not believe the bad eviews this hotel is getting this is the best hoilday we have had and can not wait to return.
The staff was great so friendly and enertaining and just loved there job they never moaned once.
The entertainment was great, food was lovely.
As for people saying the pool area and pool was dirty is not the truth the pools was lovely always being cleaned at night.
I know some of the apartment blocks was not nice but they are only 12 stars we stayed in k block it was really nice had the cleaners in everyday.
The lads that work there are young lads doing a brilliant job the only people that was moaning was the scotish especially when we beat them at volley ball lol but then you cant please everyone just want to say stevie you are doing a graet job keep it up xx

Just got back from a fantastic 1 week holiday ,, second time to visit this hotel ,,,it is one of the best in Marmis.. BIG FINGERS staff excellent made everybody welcome ,,,do not believe everything you hear about the turks ,at this hotel the staff were the best fun ever and amazing dancers ,it is 100 % worth a visit,,
we stayed in j block and room was ok ,not 5 * but clean (yes they only changed the sheets once ) but eh it was cleaned everday

We stayed in the Portobello and it was great. The maids changed our sheets and towels everyday,if they dont just fold all the sheets and sit them on the beds and they get replaced.The food was excellent,staff were really funny and fab with the kids,we had sooo much fun with the staff,playing games and kidding around.The entertainment was good and we would recommend this hotel for families,we had a ball.
