Just came back from the holiday of a lifetime! There was a group of 6 girls and we all just wanted a totally fun and relaxing holiday which is exactly what we got.

Arrived at club happy days at some stupid hour in the morning and recieved a friendly greeting from a couple of the guys who worked there. They took our cases up to our rooms for us and gave us some info about the hotel.

From the outside the hotel looks lovely. And the rooms were impressive. Both room were very spacious with a bedroom, bathroom, living area & kitchenette which provided the basics you needed for self catering not that we bothered to cook has the food at the hotel was fab and cheap. The furniture was lovely and the rooms had a very welcoming atmosphere. The cleaners came in every day to make beds, change towels, change the bins and clean. There was hot water all the time.

The staff are amazing and very friendly.Although marmaris was fairly quite the staff kept us fully entertained and helped us to arrange the trips we wanted to go on.Wheneer we were at the hotel there was fab entertainment no matter how many guest were there. We never got hassled by them in any way. They always gave us information that we required and gave us professional friendly service no matter what time of day or night it was that we required food and drink. They even did room service which was a godsend some mornings.

So Lee, Jake, Tiger and all the boys thanks for a fab holiday we will be back to see you soon.

Check out there website clubhappydaysapartments.com then you can see for yourselve some of the changes.

I went to Club Happy Days in July 07. But I would like to make a review now after reading all the reviews other people have wrote.

I don't agree with half of the things people are saying. Maybe the hotel isn't the cleanest but it has GREAT bar staff.

There was one girl who said about "you make the holiday what it is" and I agree. If your going to sit and moan about the hotel how are you going to have fun?? But if you relax and get to know the staff you will have a great time!!!

I would like to say thanks to Alex, Jake, Serif, Tiger and many more but can't spell their names *haha*. They made my holiday amazing.

I can't wait to come back to Marmaris as it is BRILLIANT, but I'm not going back to Club Happy Days and I'm quite upset about that, but my mum would like to be near the beach.

Try this hotel if your up for a laugh, You don't know what it's like unless you try it!! The bar staff are so friendly and welcoming.

Yes the bar does stay open all night but so, your on holiday for a laugh.

we have been to happy days a few times now and there are big changes on the way. tiger and his family have taken over the hotel and there have been so many improvements already. If you have been before you will know how well the bar staff look after you and cater for our needs so support them in their new adventure of running the hotel as well. All the best in 2008 and will see you all soon.

We really enjoyed our stay at Club Happy Days We found our room basic but clean which suited us as we do not spend much time in them anyway they were very spacious and the balcony was a fair size. What made the holiday for us was the friendly staff especially the restaurant staff Tiger and the lads they were fantastic with our children and kept them entertained for the whole two weeks. We all made some fantasic friends and we were all really sad to leave my 8 year old daughter cried when we came home because of the great time she'd had.
Ozzy the photographer took some great photos of us and the girls which he put in an album for a good price. We will be staying there again next year and look forward to seeing everyone again

Arrived at hotel at about 6pm and looked good from the outside. Greeted by some staff members who were helpful in assisting with our cases to reception but one managed to rip the handle off another couples case on route.

Booked in ok and staff again helped with cases to our room. While on route we couldnt help noticing that a large quantity of the room doors were damaged indicating some form of forced entry.

When we got to the room staff member showed us in and we noticed there was an adjoining door to the next room, he assured us it was locked and couldn't be opened from either side but I did point out that there was an eight inch gap at the bottom.

The guy sort of hung around for a while until I twigged that he wanted his tip. When I pointed out that I had no change he told me he would accept English money so I gave him a pound.

On closer inspection of the room we noted that The appartment was not exactly clean and at first we thought they had left the previous occupents sheets and towels in the room, we found out later that they had actually been changed.

There wasn't much in the way of cutlery or crockery and three out of the six lights in the appartment did'nt work. There was a sofa bed in the living area although it looked like it might be alive itself it was so dirty.
We complained about the room and we were offered one in the roof on the sixth floor.

It wasn't much better but at least it didn't have the adjoining door in it.Nice view from the balcony of the block opposite and one of the two pools and some easy listening music playing while people were eating in the outside restaurant areas.

Finished getting sorted out by about 8:30 and sat on the balconey, five minuites later the staff cranked up the volume on the sound system, maybe some of you in the UK heard it. Luckily they did wind it right down again at midnight.

At this point we decided to see the rep and get moved from the hotel. When we saw him he told us it would cost us at least eighty pounds each to relocate and that he wouldn't recommend it via the company.

However he did suggest that we could go to a nearby Goldtrail hotel where they had some spare rooms and the owner would only charge

This has to be one of the filthiest, dirtiest hotels we have ever had the misfortune to stay at. We had no water for 3 out of 7 days. The toilet wouldnt flush unless you lifted the whole of the top where you are supposed to flush. We had to ask for the shower to be fixed. We had a mish mash of crockery and cutlery. We had a billiard ball in the sink for a plug. The curtains were hanging off the windows. We dropped something and it rolled under the bed. I didnt wait to find out what was living under the bed as the muck was inches thick. Tha lift didnt work untill the last day. The bar staff were extremely over friendly with any young girls that were not with a husband or partner. The only escape for us was the Oasis bar in the evening. The only good thing about this place was the pool and the weather.

My wife & I booked this holiday at 5:00 pm on Friday 21st of september. We were on a flight to Turkey at 9:25pm. So needless to say we had no time at all to read any reviews on this hotel, but the travel agent we booked through assured us it was lovely.

I really dont know where she got that idea from. We have never stayed in such a filthy hole. Basic cleanliness was none existant.

The whole place was just a shambles. Everything bad you read about this place in other peoples reviews are no exageration regarding the rooms, toilets, showers, catering facilities, the none existant hot water at any time of the day, the none working lifts.

My wife had a total fear of using the lift after being stuck between floors, which was a pain as we were on the top floor.

The hotel staff were non existant unless you were a young female without a man by her side. They were quite pushy in wanting you to stay and eat and drink in the evenings, but because of the state of the hotel We didnt think their kitchen would be any cleaner.

The only plus side was the weather, and the Oasis restaurant which had excellent food, nothing was too much bother for the staff and they put on fantastic entertainment for the customers every night.

Sitting by the pool during the day was ok considering the filthiness of the hotel. Comments from other guests suggested they were going to put complaints in to the rep. We actually felt sorry for a lot of the other guests as they had paid quite a lot more for their holiday than we did.
