My husband and I have just returned from a 3*ai holiday allocated on arrival when we got to Happy Days we were just dumped at reception. We were taken to are room 204 when we walked in we could't believe what we had come to, the room smelt of damp, was dirty beyond belief, there was holes in the walls wires hanging out of here there and everywhere the sink, shower leaked it was black with dirt and mould and under the sink in the cupboard was black and dripping with water the smell was like rotten eggs. It was the same with the sink in the kitchen area.

The water went off while we were there and told the pipes had burst so we were eventually moved to the other side room 612. This room wasn't much better curtains hanging off the windows it was dirty then the water went off again we were now told they hadn't paid the bill and could not guarantee water for the rest of holiday so we were told we had to move again to a different hotel which was a little better but again never cleaned or toilet bin not emptied in nearly a week.

We found the rep of no help at all and didn't want to know also as I mentioned at the start we were also AI and had to go to another hotel for food and drinks which was also an inconvenience the food there was always cold and disgusting.

I have read the reviews and do agree with them, however, the hotel has recently just been taken over by tiger the bar manager and his family and can honestly say things are starting to and going to improve, The previous owner had not paid the water bill however things have now been sorted. The plans for next year look great and would say to people not to let the bad reviews put u off as i 100% believe it will not be like it was this year, and i'm sure you will all agree the bar staff where great and tried their best to make everyone happy so this should go somewway in convincing you into going back next year.

itotally agree with sammie and friends from hull, i met them over there.there were problems at hotel with the previous manager.and tiger kat lee and family were dropped right in the deep end no fault of ther own.it will be a fantastic hotel next year,im 100% im sure of that and tiger and family will do a great job in making sure of that.dont let the reviews and the few problems they had in the last couple of months put you off because if you go to this hotel next year you definately wont be dissapointed and youll end up going back again and again.well ive been 4 times this year so thats teeling you something.Good luck tiger and family.

It was a great holiday!!
Apts were not very clean but it was a cheap deal we got so we couldnt complain.
Not recommended for single girls here, staff r very pushy and over friendly.......

The outside of the hotel is beautiful, I must admit, but it is very decieving. Walking into the rooms at the hotel is a different matter. In ours, the toilet seat was on the floor, the taps was dripping, the balcony door wouldn't lock properly, the bedroom window was cracked, the sheets and room didn't get cleaned or changed once while we was there, the curtains had big stains on them and there was only have a curtain in the living room part. The room was very disappointing.

HOWEVER, putting all that aside, the staff was incredibly friendly, put on great entertainment at night, worked there little bones off and basically made the holiday what it was. The food was lovely, the pool was nice and clean and I had a great time and would definately go again. The only let down was the room, apart from that, everything else was brilliant.

We stayed at club happy days for two weeks and to be quite honest could`nt wait to get home, the reception staff we found very rude and abrupt, our rooms were cleaned twice in two weeks with no clean towels,there was no warm water for a shower so we had cold showers twice a day which is not hygienic. there were big holes in the walls and plug sockets hanging out everywhere leaving us only one socket that worked. We were self catering and we had no fridge,no cooker we had nothing, the day before we left we moved a bed to find all sorts underneath it was disgusting, lets just say never again!.

I just arrived home from club happy days.We were looking forward to going on our first full family holiday, but what a big dissapointment. As we arrived at the apartments, after travelling all night they looked very nice. The rep didnt help at all, just left us stranded outside of the apartment. Went in to the reception (if you could call it a reception!)Nasty smell and a big hole in the ceiling. Then was sent to our room. As we were walking to our rooms we thought what lies ahead.

As walking to our rooms noticed that all door frames were hanging off the walls. Once we finally opened the door the smell was disgusting. We were left on our own and we had a good look around. We were at ground floor right at the end and there were no locks on windows and pateo doors. Balcony was very loose, curtains hanging off, nearly all sockets were hanging off the walls and very dangerous.

Went into the bathroom and never seen anything like it! White walls with black mould on them, never seen a shower curtain as bad as that, celings, toilet, shower tray all the same. Don't think they have ever been cleaned.By know very upset. Walkedinto the bedroom what a shock! The beds- grubby grey bedding with loads of stains, the matress was just as bad.
The floors looked as if they have never been mopped or swept. Went back into the main room where the so called "kitchen" was. My camping cooker was much better compared to what we had there. No cutlery, plates , mugs just empty cuboards.Opened the doors under the sink and what a smell. The bin had never been cleaned and the back of the cuboard was even thicker black mould than in the bathrooms mould put together. The smell was revolting.

My mother who didnt even have a room came up to check what they were like. She didnt even look around, jus ran back down and got the manager up straight away.

Was finally moved to another room which was a little better, it had a huge crack down the pateo windows, sockets the same, fridge didnt work, but cleaner. By now already wasted the first day of our holiday sorting out one room!

My sisters room was better but still not clean as we were told. My uncles room was about the same but the bathroom was awful!A mirror fell off the wall, reported straight away and wewere told it had all been cleaned, next morning myson woke upin bed wih a cut ankle where glass was still left in the bed and on the floor.My mum and dad still didnt get a room until 4:45 in the afternoon.

No firealarms anywhere all the fire exits were blocked with cleaning things. The top floors fire exitwas clear but all the glass in the window of the door was gone and on the steps of the fire exit and was still the same after two weeks. Out of the 14 days we were there, nine days with no water. Liftsnot working, all hand rails wobbly, carpets going down the stairs not clean or safe.

Never again at club crappy days!!!

rooms basic toilet running all the time unable to lock doors as a crowbar had been used at sometime on them doors left open as staff atempted to carry out repaires lift not working when we arrived no rooms were ready

rooms not clean,pans etc.
broken light switches,plugs.
kitchen/bathroom units loose/broken/rotten.
door locks very difficult to used.

On arriving after a 4hour flight and a 3hour bus journey we were pleased to see that the outside of Club Happy Days looked very nice but that is as far as it went.
we had 2 rooms both on the 2nd floor what a shock when approaching them all doors looked damaged like they had been broken into. Once inside our room we found that the patio doors did not lock, the toilet leaked we had an over growing tree taking over our balconey also the overflow from above constantly dripped onto the balcony, the air con didn't work, only had 1day of hot water out of 14.
The 2nd room again door damaged, the entire toilet window including the frame was hanging off the wall, toilet leaked, shower not working but there was hot water from taps in the sink, no handles on any of the windows, not been cleaned hair eveywhere, no kithen utensils.
Complained to our rep at the welcome meeting showed her the rooms and was told that these rooms were ok by turkish standards cant believe her attitude towards us after all in the brochure it says 3*.
There was constant loud music round the pools until midnight the only time it was quiet is when we had a power cut.
The pool was very dangerous people slipping the only hand rails were between the childrens pool to seperate it from the adult pool but these were broken and taped back together very unsafe. No lifeguard, fist aider etc round the pool we saw 3 accidents in our first 2 days with 2 needing hospital treatment.
I will never return to Club Happy Days or should i say Crappy days as it is known in the resort!
