Go above 2 floor avoid roadside, Adults only so quiet hotel until dog barks.nice staff and they even have a bearded lady who is quite a colourful character in the restaurant.

Playa del Ingles is a very busy, very diverse town full of quite eye opening sights! Near our apartemnt there's the British Bulldog pub which does a great breakfast menu, and the Yumbo centre just around the corner. We went to the beach in the evenings a couple of times which I'd highly recommend, there are some nice restaurants with good family entertainment, for some reason my son took a real liking to the Elvis impersonator! All in all we loved Gran Canaria itself and would visit again, but would stay in a different, slightly quieter town more suited to families with young children.

maspalomas where we ended up staying is excellent for families no giant high rise spotlessly clean excellent beach and water park, and, handy for playa del ingles and a short drive to puerto rico

Very close to 2 comercial centres Cita and Yumbo. Bars and Restaurants very close by with good food at The British Bulldog and Mobys.
Superb location, even better weather and the hotel staff couldn't do enough for us.

Fantastic resort Playa del Ingles ,Red cow meals are fantastic value for money and staff are so friendly and lovely great service, night time visit Shenanigans its a good laugh and cheap for drinking too.
Yumboo centre was great for shopping.
The beach was great too, would def visit Playa del Ingles again.

only problem we had was the sand dunes,on two seperate days we had a flasher on the beach that targeted young girls.he would sit right in front of you and would intimidate you.we gave up in the end and used puerto rico beach as more family based.
yumbo centre is good,laid back and friendly.great bus services and all airconditioned.cheap taxis too.

Playa del Ingles is a great resort for the beaches and the night life. It's a great place to chill out and have a great time.

I liked Playa Del Ingles beach, clean and fun, lots of stuff to do like the banana boat and jet ski's.
I didn't like Maspalomas beach, too many rocks in the sea, I hurt my foot.

Have visited Playa del Ingles many times and have found the resort to be very clean and caters to all with lots of things to do. The beach is vast and very clean.

Beach and surrounding areas seemed very clean, plenty of entertainment bars and eateries to hand, only complaint is that the escelators down/up from beach were out of order so was a bit of a climb back up to the prom, there is a lift for those brave enough to use it though.
You do get approached by "touts" but nothing excessive, a no thank you seems to get rid of them.
