It is quiet during the day and lively at night, with a mix of turks and tourists its a good place to be, restaraunts off all genres and a variety of night clubs. I reccomend a place called Casablanca to drink at.

Going on holiday as a single parent can be hard, only this holiday made me so happy. We still speak about it now and can't wait to go back in August. We walked into town a lot, went onto 2 fantasic boat trips, booked through Thomas Cook (which were reasonable) I can't say enough good things about Hotel Lion and the resort really. Yes there were things that weren't perfect but the overall experience was wonderful. If you are looking for a relaxed family holiday Hotel Lion is the place to stay, Kusadasi was a holiday to remember. Well done to Thomas Cook on this one!!!

Kusadasi is good fun.Loads of shops to buy you genuinely fake rolex, and hundreds of resuarants.
People are friendly, over friendly when they want you to buy something however all banter is good humoured.
Beech at hotel is private and well maintained. A great touch was seeing security guards regularily patrolling beeches and hotel complex

The resort was very clean just the odd bit of rubbish left by tourists. The entertainment wasnt great overall a bit hit and miss. The beach (ladies beach) was great very clean and good for those who like watersports.

many different pubs, clus, restaurants, beach clubs to choose from. choose the local bars where turkish are eating as you'll get nice, cheap food. Bar street is very Irish, if you want to mix with other nationlities and Turkish go to Kaleici. You can find nice life music there.
a lot of activities, water sports, daily trips. You won't have enough time and money to do them all:)
most of the beach clubs are 5 lira (except ladies beach where you have to pay extra for umbrella)
loads of shops and if you now how to play at the bazars you can get a bargain!

Busy resort, several beaches, harbour which large cruise liners visited regularly, busy nightlife and lots of shops and restuarants.

Kusadasi is very busy and lively 7 days a weeek,When the cruise ships are in port the prices in the shops go up, so wait til the ships leave to do your gift shopping. There is a lively buzz around the resort at all times a great place to eat shop and drink.The beaches in town are poor but long beach and ladies beach are good but crowded, try getting a dolmus to Silver Sands Beach well worth the trip.

The only part of the beach that we didn't like was the part the flora suites use because there was a rubbish heap there that smelled.
There is a bit of seaweed (grassy style) for about 2 feet when you first get in. AFter that the water is beautiful. It's not slimey seaweed and you can pretty much jump over it. You can walk for ages as an adult as it's a slow drop.
