Family rooms are best further back from the beach as noisy animation area plays loud music at times.

People are friendly and have a great sense of humour. Locals are helpful even if they dont speak english they will help you to find where you are going. Use the Dolmus, it is an experience. Greta entertainment. Great bargains in leather. Go to the bag shop on the corner near the Mosque.

The resort always seemed to be clean but I never saw anyone one out clean the streets.
The entertainment was great every were you went there was a bar or club I would recamend The Mayflower. But if your not into clubs and bars there is little quit pubs here and there.
Everyone says the Ladies Beach is the best beach there but it isnt, Ladies beach is very small and always packed; we went to a lovely beach called silver sands you could do all sorts of water sportsand it is quite large.
The entertainment was great every were you went there was a bar or club I would recamend The Mayflower. But if your not into clubs and bars there is little quit pubs here and there.

We have not used the beaches in Kusadasi as the Palmin tends to cosset people so much that a venture up and down those hills is best left for those of us that are related to Goats !!!
But the resort does seem to be generally well kept - the standard of litter control would shame many of the Irish that visit each year.
As regards entertainment; outside of the hotels the entertainment seems to be onfined to the availability of a waterpark outside the town and Bar Street - although the archaelogical wonders of Ephesus and Hierapolis are available through a number of tour operators.
There are some excellent restaurants in the town - particularily Saray which is located behind the old Post Office. On Ladies Beach there are a number of nice restaurants which compete reasonably well with the local hotels for prices - but that said the hotels - particularly the Palmin - are not overpriced for their food.
I am aware this contradicts a previous correspondent above but I am quite certain the Palmin is the best value locally - for standards, quantity, price and comfort.
A number of "change offices" are available throughout the town again the rates are not much different to what is available in the hotel
The bigger Princess Cruise Ships visit the harbour every couple of days and it is very pleasant to go down to watch the extra excitement/buzz they bring to the towns traders

Their is a very good bus service outside the carina going both ways either Ladies Beach or into Kusadasi.
Ladies beach is totally relaxing and there is lots of lovely resturants beside it.
Going in the oppisite direction you go into Kusadasi, here is a shoppers paradise! try the Friday market for bargains Tip: Dont buy from shops if there is liners in dock at the harbour as shops tend to hike up there prices.
One excellent pub to try is Golden Oldies, you can have a lovely meal there and it is competivaly priced, also the best place to change your currency is the post office in the centre.
There is also a lovely resturant at pigeon island, which does a very nice english breakfast, most of the time we ate out, and I must admit I found the bar staff at the carina, quite rude unless you were spending lots of money there. and why should you ? it@s your holiday ! The waterpark is excellent and this can be booked in town much much cheaper than you will through the reps. for snacks etc: Tansas supermarket is in Kusadasi and is fairly well stocked.

Resort area was generally clean with little rubbish along the streets;
Efese was a great place to visit, used a local Holiday company Tulip as our tour operator did not have on the day we wanted, for extra 10 USD had own private bus & guide for 6 hours, cotton fields & carpet making also visited.
Local people very freindly, remember staff on very low wage.
Benny's Leather shop excellent place to buy reasonal/good quality leather goods also has contacts for all other items, offers trips in his speed boat, lifts in convertable BMW/Merc

The only places I can recommend is MURPHYS RESTAURANT & PADDYS BAR on bar street murphys having the best food and entertainment and Paddys having the best music.I'm sure the Palmin wouldn't like my recommendation as they recommend Jimmys on bar street because guess what it's the same owner as the Palmin whos customer then get hassled in jimmys to go to golden boys some cut there some where i'm sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Have a great time anyone travelling to kus and say hello to everyone at murphys.

Again the pool was outstanding just like the hotel it was lovely just having a laugh in the pool and getting a great tan! Entertainment was fantastic thats how im going to put it because basically it was!
The hotel is so close to the town and market and if you are feeling a little bit lazy just get a taxi which is right outside of the hotel.

We found kusadasi to be very clean peolpe constanstly cleaning the streets and shop holders.As for entertainment well as I mentioned before the best entertainment was at MURPHYS RESTAURANT where they had fantasic turkish nights,quiz nights and I believe they are planning live music and a barbecue night this yr which will be brillant,they also had karaoke and take your pick if it wasn't for this restaurant we probaly would have been bored in the night time.Ýt's ran by an Ýrish girl who is so helpful. They even organise to pick you up free of charge from your hotel which is great.And they run a free pick up service from your hotel to paradise beach and they will also organise to bring you home that evening.
We didn't enjoy Ladies beach as there was no room to swing a cat with all the sun beds.We found paradise beach the best very tranquil and loads of room.I believe there is plans for a childrens club there this aswell for anyone returning.
