Go above 2 floor avoid roadside, Adults only so quiet hotel until dog barks.nice staff and they even have a bearded lady who is quite a colourful character in the restaurant.

2 weeks before email and ask for 3rd floor or higher, near as possible to the elevator, with a pool view.

The resort itself is very nice. maspolomas is a few mins walk and the bus service is excellent and very cheap. the entertainment is great at nights with endless bars and clubs. The clubs can work out very expensive. Best breakfasts are served at the redlion british pub and work out around 3 to 4 pounds per person. The beach is very nice and there is always a breeze if it is a hot day. the touts are annoying but you get used to it in the end. there are endless shopping centres and they are easily reached by bus. It was a bit more expensive here than other resortas we have visited but i would visit again and the weather was excellent in the 80s every day.

Playa del Ingles is a great resort with everything on hand whatever your tastes. We have been to the Gran Canaria 3 times now and always stay in Palya del Ingles. There are loads of places to go for food and drink and especially shopping. The yumbo centre is brilliant at night with the various shows going on.

I thought the resort was very clean indeed with no cockroaches in sight.
With regards to the entertainment, I was a bit disappointed but had good old Tony at the bar serving many pints of San Miguel to keep me happy.
We did not visit the beaches at the resort as road works were being done so went to Amadores instead.
Due to the beaches being so far away (Amadores) I would not stay here again, myself and my dad are beach people and would sooner be without the hassle of travelling far to get to them.

ENTERTAINMENT WAS RUBBISH, YOU WERE LUCKY IF THERE WAS 20 PEOPLE SITTING BY THE POOL AT NIGHT WATCHING FOR SOME ENTERTAINMENT. BAR WAS DEAR AS WELL SO THAT PUT PEOPLE OFF AS WELL. BEACHES WERE LOVELY BUT THE SAND WAS THAT HOT THE KIDS COULDN'T WALK ON IT AND IT IS VERY WINDY AS WELL SO THE SAND DOES TEND TO FLY ABOUT.

Playa del Ingles is a great resort - nice beach and plenty to do on a night in the Commercial Centres.
We usually use the Yumbo Centre for the shops and laid-back atmosphere -but the Gran Chapperall is good as well.
Eat at Benny Hills and they usually have good entertainment on as well - El Duke Restaurant next door is great as well, we will go for years to come.
