Go above 2 floor avoid roadside, Adults only so quiet hotel until dog barks.nice staff and they even have a bearded lady who is quite a colourful character in the restaurant.

2 weeks before email and ask for 3rd floor or higher, near as possible to the elevator, with a pool view.

The resort cleanliness was great no litter anywhere but the place itself is very baron! the entertainment was average but this would be ideal for a family holiday! The beach reminds me of Blackpool and the frothy foam laps the dirty sand, definatly stick to the pool area of hotel, I would visit Gran Canaria again but i would go back to maspolomas

on a whole the resort itself was fantastic very clean and presentable.the entertainment was good with plenty to laff about!!we went to playa del ingles beach and maspalomas which were both equally excellent beaches!definatley go again!

the resort was clean when walking around ,
loved the cats which sneek in to your bungalow nearly everyday when yur recovering from a hangover seeing a cat in your cupboard eating your food very nice. the cats were friendly. bit of a walk to the beach not nice when your walking back and you need a wee

The Yumbo center was the main attraction for us all, the bars were great, except the Diamonds bar, very snooty staff...

Good sized pool, with plenty of sunbeds/lounges, plenty of leisure activities and really clean and spacious rooms. The whole resort was well maintained and very clean.
The beach is quite nice, but maspolomas beach is much nicer, although at maspolomas the range of shops is not too good. For easiness and a good range of shops, PDL beach is by way the best. Shop, buy a 'boogie-board', play in the water and hire a nice sunbed/lounger on the beach and let the sun give you a great tan that all your fiends wil be jealous of.

We found the resort disappointing, outside of Playa the island looks like something from war zone (very scruffy houses - especially driving down from Las Palmas on the motorway) but the resorts themselves are wonderful. We found it a pain shopping or going for something to eat without being ambushed into the shop or restaurant. The people are friendly but pushy. Beach is superb, especially the nudist beach but expect a lot of cruising during the day. Yumbo centre is friendly (very Gay), some good prices for drinks, Shenanigans is exceptional for an evenings entertainment (very nice Chips and Curry Source as well). The Kasbah centre I would give a miss, the shopping centre is OK, some good clubs but the plaza - no way, its a bear pit (the owners should go to Ibiza and see how its done properly) having said that we were there for two weeks and did not see any trouble what so ever (cant say that about Ibiza). The prostitutes also hang around the Kasbah Plaza. Now I have said overall we found the entertainment for kids non existent apart from the pool tables round the pool, they were fed up after the first week.
The actual resort seemed clean we hardly saw any entertainment apart from the bars on the beach front which had singers most nights.

I will never visit Playa de Ingles resort again as we got harassed by Germans trying sell time shares everywhere we went it's disgusting something wants to be done about it as people just won't go back there, it spoils your holiday.

Fantastic entertainment and food, lots to do and see, 4 main centres to visit, the yumbo, the irish centre, english centre and Kasbah centre. Lots of cheap cigs and alcohol, overall a fantastic resort. Cleanliness wise watch out for puddles of sick on the footpaths, and we had quite a bit of electrical and other property stolen. Will deffo be visiting again. Very hot and great fun.
The resort of Playa del Ingles is one of the best we have visited on our travels. It is clean, all areas easily accessible and with a good public transport or taxi service the rest of the island is within easy reach for those who wish to explore. Plenty of entertainment to suit everyone from discos to tea dances. (I would class it as a 'club 18 - 80!) A must is a visit to Brogan's bar in the Irish sector to hear the live music on offer. The duo 'Streetwise' are brilliant - the lead singer can belt out 'Angels' better than Robbie Williams could ever hope to.
