the resort was friendly,clean.The people were warm and helpfull but the boat trips really made the holiday for us diving into the sea kids loved it ,the temple of Apollo is a must see ,kids loved going out to eat at night and were well looked after by retaurant staff. would deffinately go back

Apart from the dusty roads the resort did not have litter.
The entertainment was a ten/fifteen minute walk down the hill at dophin square which is right along next to the sea front .
This was brilliant and the night time was the best with lots ging on.
Great restuarants food cheap but watch the price on the soft drinks and acts that go around including bellydancing and a great breakdancing act.
The best beach is the 3rd beach but all the beaches are lovely. Theres also a fun fair.

the beaches are in a bad way with more weeds than sand. the area is full of dog dirt and litter and black bin bags burst lying on the street waiting for the binmen. the biggest marina in the agean area is near completion and i urge the turkish authorities to get their act together before they destroy this beautiful place.

Have been to Altinkum before and resort is always clean. If its full blown entertainment you want this is not the place, if you want peace to unwind with a little noise & a drink then this is it. Sea is child friendly as you can walk out for ages and it's still only waist height.

Altinkum has something for everyone. Good resturants some with entertainment,great beach, easy to get around . Dolmus (bus) very cheap and runs regular,most resturants will collect you and return you by taxi at their expense.

Altinkum is suitable for families, having safe shallow beaches, good sand, plenty of entertainment, to suit all tastes. There are one or two noisy disco's/karaoke bars which while suiting some may put others off. Locals are friendly and helpful but like elsewhere in Turkey do pester you to try their bar/restaurant. They do however accept a polite No Thankyou.

the only thing that spoils the resort is the amount of stray dogs, otherwise very good.
