This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

The resort was clean and I noted the beach had been cleared. We didn't try local entertainment. The beach is manmade and stonier than I would have liked but this is a minor gripe.

Plenty of people going round cleaning up all the mess left from the night before, even new years day. Good range of bars with tribute acts/ karaoke and of corse football, drink prices about the same as at home, glass of wine for two, the Blues Bar 7euros. Next door in the Sixtes Bar 6 euros and a bar in the happy centre 3 euros. Had a few good nights in the Slap and Tickel on the karaoke, they have one of the best song books I have ever seen.
Had some nice meals at night the best has to be for us O Faro, Portuguese went there twice but there are lots to pick from in fact more than you nead for a 2 week break. beach was nice with plenty of people on it all the time sun bed and brolly 9 euros a day, there are even 2 camals to have a go on if you like that sort of thing. It have been 12 years since we first went to this resort but we will not leave it that long again, it has got bigger and we found it just right for us.

The resort was like a horseshoe shaped bay, with a few bars and restaurants scattered about. It was very pretty and just the job for a relxing break, a large shoppping centre was about a 10 min walk away which had a cinema and bowling alley. All in all a great location.

i am too upset to go through this again this holiday cost me 4 grand and me my partner and my 2 sons got nothing from it but a lovely dose of scabies. you really should be sending some type of health inspection because the whole place was rancid and i am not exagerating. i have been fobbed off by Thomas cook but am not letting this go,someone is going to get seriously harmed in that place with the loose wires in various places. it just needs sorting and fast.

The resort was well kept, tidy and quiet. We found a few good eating places, in particular The Goose and Firkin and also Caffe Nero.

Can't comment on entertainment as we weren't looking for any.

Beaches were lovely and again, very quiet.

We would go back for another relaxing break - don't go here if you're looking for the biz - it's not there !

The resort had a decent beach, nice sand ( not black, yellow!) shallow, safe and plenty of nearby activities- mini golf and tennis! I love this resort because its relaxing, and full of decent restaurants. I love international food, so if you are looking for Italian, typical Spanish or Asian, you can find it all. My other half likes Thai food, which we eventually found at "the Dome Restaurant"

The prices are not so low here in Caleta de Fuste, but that is because of the Euro, you will see that all over Spain and elsewhere in Europe. Also in Caleta you have to take into consideration that over the years the resort has seen a big boom in bars and restaurants so some places seem empty, so in off peak months the charm of this resort is the tranquillity, and in peak months - summer and Christmas- there its more known as a lively place to go out in. Though personally , its the sun all year round does it for us!

Its good for families and young couples alike, I have been here in both situations! Whatever you are looking for, if you take a walk around the resort you will find it. Do not get stuck inside the hotel complex!

The resort was very near the airport and only 10 euros by taxi to the hotel, which was great for us. We hired a car from Moreno car hire within the hotel and visited Jandia and the north of the island. We didn't venture far from the hotel most evenings, but there were shops, local bars and restaurants within walking distance if you wanted them. There was windsurfing and a few jet ski's on the beach, and one day we even saw two camels there giving rides to the children. We would return to this hotel again for a relaxing week in the sun and consider it good value for money.

the resort was very british with lots of karaoke bars which got on my nerves a bit but the girls and hubby enjoyed them. tried piero's with had on the blues brothers show which was very funny. all drinks were half price from 7.30 till 8.30. went again the next night to watch the aladdin show which had been recommended but the had stopped doing the half price drinks didn't give a explanation why didn't enjoy the aladdin show as much as blues brothers.went to the flower of scotland on quite a few occasions they have buy one get one free on between 9 and 10 for local drinks not branded or imported such as john smith,s or guinness, cocktails were included to so 2 for 5e.some nights the would have a quiz followed by karaoke(their was always karaoke)the lad who done the entertainment was named brian and was lovely a very good entertainer the kids loved him.also went to the slap and tickle(karaoke)with is run by scully from liverpool( where i was born)and he was very funny but did swear a bit so if you don't like swearing it may be best not to go here.tried the kings arms at happy hour and got 2 beers one large one small and it cost 6e hate to see what we would of paid if it hadn't been happy hour so never went here again.also tried the dome which we were told was buy one get one free but it was only this for local beer and wine so not advertised correctly,my hubby asked for a pint of john smith's and they gave him a can and charged him 4.50e he wasn't impressed.tried other bars all pretty much the same thing and all expensive for drinks and as the pound is week you don't get many euros for your money.
there was some graffiti about but on the whole resort was pretty clean.
tried a few restaurants the slow boat chinese which had been recommended to me and it was awful mine and hubby's food was very salty kids was ok.
the chinese upstairs by piero's was lovely that was recommended also.
fado rock we went to twice hubby had fillet steak both times and enjoyed it, i had mixed grill(nice)the fist time .second time leg of lamb ok but it should of been a bit tenderer, girls had lasagne and bolognese which they enjoyed and pizza which was good. everyone seems to recommend the fado rock but i've eaten in better steak restaurants and if you ever go to ibiza (puerto san miguel)the fish restaurant on the beach cooked the best steak ever(and its not even famous for steak its famous for fish)tried other eateries o'connors, mappys, the trafalgar all fine.
would maybe visit this resort again if i found a cheapie but prefer to try new places, but would visit fuerteventura again.
