This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Dont go, There is not one guest I stayed with who enjoyed themself. My poor 3 year old was begging to go home

Do not except a bungalow near the road that surrounds this complex i as was told by other holidaymakers who stayed here they were the ones that got robbed on a regular basis . the words quick getaway come to mind

don't choose the bungalows - poor outlook an isolated.
Local bar the Crazy Goat good fun and excellent food at Mustang Sally.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

This would be good in height of summer when really hot then open roof woudnt matter and definitely need transport of your own

Caleta is quiet and man made but offers you an easy going, relaxing time. It's close to the airport which is ideal for transfers, though if you are in the accomodation at the top of the resort I belive the planes are quite low.. where we were on the beach front, you could see the planes but not in such a way that they annoyed you. I became an expert on the plane companies!
There is a new golf course, new shopping centre and pleanty of good value resturants in the town centre. If you want to relax and chill out with a few activities to hand then this place will suit you. Very child friendly and not a hetic nightlife area.

The resort is perfect for people who dont want hustle and bustle and just want a family holiday with none of the hassle you get from other resorts.

during our 2 week stay we saw 'council' clean up crews tidying up every morning - literally hand sweeping the pavements - spotless.
Entertainment wise, there's something for everyone (teenagers may be be a little bored though) we visited the showbar which was very good with a different show every night.
As to the beach - clean, tidy - maybe a little crowded nearist to the town centre but a 2 min walk and its virtualy empty, the beach gently slopes into the sea so its fairly safe for kids & non-swimmers. it must be worth stating that the beach is man made so it can get a little 'rocky' towards each end of the beach, but our kids liked this as they could go rock pool watching

From the castillo san jorge there is a well maitained path leading to the beach. clean and clear blue water and opportunities to take part in water sports. calm water great for the kids. A great choice of alternative plsces to eat. with always a warm welcome

Caleta de Fuste is a great family resort.
Good variety of eating out places.
Please dont let brochures put you off with aircraft noise as it does not bother you and it has a great short transfer from airport to resort. Very clean reort. Excellent market on a sunday.

The resort was very family orientated and quiet, maybe because it was the end of may. A good enough choice of restaurants and bars

caleta de fuste is great for many different reasons,
Very clean and the beach was lovely and tidy and a 5 minute stroll.
We took many walks along at sunset and would always discover somewhere we hadn't been to.

Resort of Caleta is very nice, quiet so you can unwind, Saturday market was good.

The resort is purpose built with a man made beach.
Everywhere is clean and tidy with a good selection of bars and restaraunts to suit pretty much all tastes. It's good for couples and families, lively enough without being over the top.
The shopping centre is very pleasant and more shops are being added all the time.
This resort is only ablout 10 mins from the airport but the noise isn't really that noticeable as the flights only seem really come in in daylight hours.
