Get a ground room floor as it will help as there are no lifts to the other floors so it can be a bit of a walk with a pram.
Make sure on the strip you visit the Meze restaurant with the funny symbols in the name. It is one of the best Meze places in Protaras. Also Molti was a great restaurant to stay in.

There are three night clubs. We went in May and only one was opened. The entertainment is pretty main stream. Protaras is like Ayia Napa is like Puerto Del Carmen is like Las Americas. The neon lights all look the same. If you want my advise hire a car and go to Nicosia and the Troodos mountains there you will see the real Cyprus.

The resort was spotlessly clean, the resort had alot of entertainment such as karaoke cyprian night and alot more, The beach standard was excellent and the staff were always willing to help, i would definetley stay in this resort again!

Very good resort, lots to do for all ages - loads of live entertainment and karaoke bars - check out Elvis at the Bells bar - well worth a night out.

Protaras is a nice place to walk through now and every thing is so close at hand whilst the hotel is just off the main drag and away from most of the noise of the kareoke bars!. As already mentioned elsewhere Geogios must rank as one of the best value and quality for money restaraunts around, Island Affair was another we enjoyed. All in all a great resort with lovely beaches, clear blue sea and friendly people.

This resort is the best I've been to in Europe.
Its good for families as the beaches are safe - the only reason I've given it a 4* is beacuse the water was so cold and I think this would put the little ones off.
I came here 4 years ago and they have apparently spent the best part of CYP8million on the centre and it is certainly better than the last time we went as a lot of the roads were not much more than tracks and it was a very small resort.
It wasn't one way before either and this has certainly improved your chances of crossing the road alive!
As there isn't the abundance of nightclubs like Ayia Napa you don't tend to get the idiots here either which is nice but there's still plenty to do in the evening.
The choice of bars and restaurants is good. The standard of accomodation is good. The healthcare here is fantastic if someone falls ill (my hubby spent 4 days in hospital last year and they made me Sunday roast!).

We have been to Protaras before and saw the hotel been built last year so we knew where it was although the brochure did have it situated nearer fig tree bay. Lots of great restaurants at the top of the street a lovely beach soft sandy beach only 100 yards away.

The resort was very busy. we came 2 years ago and found that it is moving towards the youngens i think this because ayia napa is so close and protaras is cheaper to stay in. very good choice of restaurants and bars. gift shops prices have gone up in line with europe.
The best beach is fig tree the water was much clearer than flamingo beach.
few bars with kids enterainment but the fred flintstones bar is very good for kids.

protaras resort was really nice! a little expensive but still nice! with loads of entertainment!

I cannot fault the resort, being by the sea was great. Protaras is a great place to go. The cypriot people are lovely and friendly and we couldn't have wished for a better holiday.

The resort has improved dramatically since our last trip 5 years ago. Where once there was pot holes on pavement and roads these have now been re- paved and look really nice.
There are lots of bars and Taverna's on the main strip, entertainment usually is Greek/Cyprus nights and Karoke bars.
The beach is soft sand and the water turquoise blue and very clear.There are plenty watersports on the beach.
A flag system is in operation.
