The resort was fabulous, there was so much going on the cleanliness was outstanding, it was in easy reach of gumbet and bodrum, you could walk to gumbet it took about 15 mins at the most, and bodrum was a short taxi ride away about 20mins cost around 15 lira, which is about £6 this was for a 10 mile ride.
the beach was very relaxing, it has a jetty which has big comfy bean bags to lay on,
i would definately stay at this resort again.

resort clean bins emptyed every day even on night lots off entertainment beach not very good no sand for childen i would visit again

the beaches are small and not your soft golden sands but have plenty of sun beds for all the beaches are clean and theres plenty of entetainment at night around the beach and in the main streets. will be coming to this resort again very pleased with all..

There was some building works going on down the road so wasn't very clean but as soon as you got into the main town it was fine.
the beach was quite narrow but no rubbish on it at all so that was good to see.

Been coming to Gumbet for 6years now will be back next year,the place is buzzing at nite fun pubs,clubs and good eating places are to be had also shopping is very good specialy if you like bartering. All the Turkish people are very friendly and helpful cannot fault them. Beach is good with plenty of places for icecream drinks etc also plenty of sun loungers which are free.

as a family we have visited Turkey many times and specifically Gumbet which is a lovely resort where you can enjoy the quiet or the vibrant, you can have whatever kind of holiday you chose, it is a wonderful resort. The people are friendly, family orientated, warm and welcoming, we have some lovely Turkish friends that we go over to visit and we look forward to this every year. I will not allow a small minority to put me off going back to this resort.
Just a few recommendations if I may:
Great Breakfasts - China Town or Paddys Bar
Great Evening Meals - Family Door or China Town
Great day out - get the Dolmus into Bodrum or once in Bodrum get the Dolmus from there to Turgetreis another lovely resort with a great market for bargains.
Great Hotel - The Seray Class Apartments who rescued us from the holiday from hell

There was a lot going on in Gumbet. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. We mainly used our hotel facilities so didn't really experience the bars.

Bar street is great for nightlife, always busy and the restaurants are great too, they all sell great food at good prices. the beach is only ten minutes away with plenty of watersports and excursions.
